President Joe Biden gave an address on Sunday to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Phoenix Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., in which he declared that “no one ever doubts that I mean what I say.”
Biden made the remark in the context of his discussing Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson—whom he had nominated—taking her place on the Supreme Court. (Video) “Look at what we witnessed yesterday,” Biden said. “I told you all I was going to appoint a Black woman to the Supreme Court, and we did.
“The first—not only the first Black Vice President, but the first member of the—Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America,”

President Joe Biden assured the people of Puerto Rico on Monday that 'all of America is with you' as the island struggles to cope with the damage from Hurricane Fiona.
'We came here in person to show that we're with you. All of America is with you as you receive and recover and rebuild,' he said during a visit to Ponce, Puerto Rico, with first lady Jill Biden and FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell.
Biden vowed to deliver quick assistance to the island, where tens of thousands of people still don't have power after Fiona struck the island on Sept. 18.
'We work together to help rebuild Puerto Rico and I mean,

Journalists (and other Democrats) are pouncing and seizing on the leaked excerpts from Confidence Man, the forthcoming book about former president Donald Trump by New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. (snip) Days after the 2020 election, which Trump had come to suspect had been rigged by a secret cabal of deep-state operatives, an envelope appeared on the Resolute desk. The president noticed it one day while drinking a Diet Coke and thinking about all the documents he wanted to declassify. Inside was a piece of paper certifying the birth of "Barack Hussein Obama II" at Mombassa Hospital in Kenya on August 4, 1961.

President Joe Biden told Al Sharpton in a private conversation that he will seek a second term in office and run for president again in 2024, NBC News reported.
Biden reportedly told Sharpton of his plans to seek a second term in early September at the end of a meeting with leaders from the nation’s top civil rights organizations.
As NBC reported:
“I’m going to do it again,” Biden said as he posed for a photograph in the Roosevelt Room with Sharpton, who is also an MSNBC host, according to an official of Sharpton’s National Action Network who recounted Sharpton’s description. “I’m going.”

Medical school was once aimed at applying scientific knowledge to treat the sick and injured. But these days, we’re told society itself is sick, and it must be healed by the elixir of enlightenment. Therefore, devoted future doctors in Minnesota are pledging to wokeness and a complete righting of the world’s wrongs.

What arguably stands out most is the group’s denouncement of science. Western medicine only has value if it’s the correct approach to physical health.

Jonathan Capehart, a Washington Post columnist and MSNBC host, is arguing that Democrats need to retake the high ground on patriotism. It really bugs him that people associate patriotism with Republicans, while it is the Democrats who are the real patriots.
Yeah right. I have no idea why anybody would think that Democrat leaders and commentators aren’t patriotic. Maybe because of statements like this: Capehart’s argument is not uncommon, of course. Democrats have been frustrated by the fact that Republicans have been more successful with patriotic messaging than they since at least the 60’s. Kennedy clearly was very patriotic with his messaging, but ever since Democrats have been associated

Teachers unions have a long history of political action, but now teachers unions are advocating for gender identity and Critical Race Theory (CRT) to be taught in schools. This recent push has come because of the support of the Biden administration, experts tell the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Teachers unions have been notorious for entering political races; in the 2021-2022 school year, the nation’s two largest teachers unions, the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, poured millions into political funding.

Earth’s climate is always changing. But despite the warming hysterics’ wild claims, it’s not changing at an alarming rate. Remember, when they cite United Nations reports warning of soaring temperatures and rising sea levels, the projections cover many decades, not just a few years. Of course there was a moment when the climate did change rapidly. It was so long ago, though, none of us can remember it.
Yet it happened. Many centuries before the first oil well was drilled. Almost 1,500 years ago.
The foundation of the global warming obsession on the left is largely based on U.N. predictions

Simply by taking the bench, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson made history Monday, but as the Supreme Court kicked off its new term she also sent a message that she has no intent of being a shrinking violet despite her newcomer status. (Snip) Indeed, Jackson was so vocal that her questioning helped extend the planned one hour of arguments to two hours. Jackson seemed to realize she was testing Chief Justice John Roberts’ patience. After Roberts called on her well into the argument, she looked a bit sheepish and prefaced one of her questions with, “Sorry. …” Then she asked two

Chris Cuomo has returned to the airwaves for the first time since he was ousted from CNN, insisting that he has 'learnt lessons' from his ignominious departure, and promising to counter 'groupthink.'
'This show will be topical, but it won't be typical,' said Cuomo, 52, in what was seen as a thinly-veiled dig at his former employer.
'I'm not going to follow the pack - I'm here to expose the game.'
Cuomo was fired from CNN in December 2021 after it emerged that he had been secretly advising his brother Andrew, the then-governor of New York, on media strategy when he was confronted with allegations of sexual harassment.

Joe Biden’s cognitive deficits are increasingly apparent, even to the most amateur observer.
Whether he has dementia at this point is immaterial. Half the world thinks he does and that weakens the United States and imperils us all.
Whether he is falling up the stairs of Air Force One or falling off a stationary bike, whether he is wandering around on stage in a fog or clutching cheat sheets designed for a 4-year-old, whether he is shouting incoherently or whispering creepily, the optics are shocking.

This is the tale of two laptops, one tale definitely damaging to the Democrats, one potentially so. What they have in common is that the FBI did its damnedest to bury both.
For all the hubbub about the Hunter Biden laptop, there has been little talk about the laptop owned by DNC data analyst Seth Rich. In the way of brief summary, the 27-year-old Rich was beaten and then shot by unknown assailants on a Washington, D.C. street in the early morning hours of July 10, 2016. His attackers appear to have taken nothing—not his wallet, not his phone, not his watch.
