He is just so much better than they are on both policy and politics, and that makes him dangerous to their ability to continue destroying America. So we have now reached the “Ron DeSantis is a Nazi” phase of demonization. It’s actually kind of glorious to see, because this tactic only works to gin up their communist base while simultaneous waking people up to a genuine crisis at the border. Few normal people believe DeSantis is really evil, which is why Florida has become a magnet for disaffected Americans who want to move
