Black residents in New York filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that the city’s attempt to allow noncitizens to vote in municipal elections is unconstitutional because it was a “racially motivated” move to siphon political power from Black residents to other racial or ethnic minorities. The lawsuit, filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation on behalf of four residents, said city council members who wrote the law last year made explicit racial appeals, saying they wanted to change “the color of the skin” of people who were voting in elections. And that hurts Black voters in particular, because the new noncitizen voters will be heavily Hispanic and Asian, and are expected

The possibility of U.S. lockdowns—never attempted on this scale in the history of pandemics—was already in the air in early March 2020. The theory of lockdown had been floating around for 15 years but now China was first to try it, and claim enormous success, however fraudulently.
Incredibly, the United States was set to try it out too but getting Trump on board was going to take some doing. (snip)Thanks to several journalistic accounts, we have a better idea of what went on in the White House before the dreadful March 16, 2020, press conference of Donald Trump, Anthony Fauci, and Deborah Birx in which the lockdowns were announced.

Collusion between government and Big Tech goes deeper than Joe Biden’s incompetence. The FBI reportedly responded to the revelation it pressured Facebook to censor during the 2020 election by saying that the agency “routinely” works with social media companies to target “potential threat information.”The FBI “cannot ask, or direct, companies to take action on information received,” but does coordinate with “social media providers” to moderate content, according to an Aug. 26 FBI statement reported by Reclaim The Net.This revelation comes after multiple efforts by various arms of the Biden administration to increase censorship leading up to the 2022 midterms

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was in Pittsburgh last week campaigning for Doug Mastriano, the Republican nominee for Pennsylvania governor. DeSantis is intelligent and articulate, but what makes him probably the most popular Republican governor in the country—and why he brought star appeal to the Keystone State—is that he fights, and wins, political battles for conservative principles.
Earlier this year, the Walt Disney Company—one of the largest employers in Florida, and one of the most influential corporations in the world—opposed legislation sponsored by DeSantis that prohibited public school teachers from discussing sexual topics in kindergarten through the third grade. President Donald Trump argued Monday that he should be declared the winner of the 2020 election, citing fraud and election interference by the FBI.

Trump said the FBI purposefully tried to stop him from winning the 2020 election.

The search warrant affidavit unsealed on Friday confirms the Department of Justice used a bait-and-switch tactic to justify the FBI’s unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump’s home. The unredacted portions of the affidavit further expose the Biden administration’s manipulative and tenuous basis for the search and its reliance on inapplicable federal criminal code provisions to justify the targeting of a political enemy.
At noon on Friday, the search warrant affidavit used by the DOJ to obtain a warrant to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home hit the public court docket, albeit with heavy redactions. While sparse, the unredacted portions of the affidavit nonetheless proved significant

Reporters and analysts are getting used to describing news about the U.S. economy as “mixed.” The public, however, knows it’s all bad, because the results of President Joe Biden’s economic and energy policies are hitting Americans right in their pocketbooks.
The latest ostensibly good news was Thursday’s Bureau of Economic Analysis report that the second quarter decline in U.S. gross domestic product was a little less than previously stated: -0.6% instead of -0.9%. That’s good only if your definition of success is slightly slower failure.
The reality is that the U.S. economy is in serious decline and getting worse.

What followed was a ridiculous diatribe accusing Republicans of hypocrisy for wanting Hillary Clinton charged but not Donald Trump regarding the handling of classified information. Putting aside that Trump was president and had the power of declassification, do you see how the game works? There are essentially three types of celebrities who weigh in on politics, and they normally come from either Hollywood, the music industry, or the sports world. The most common is the bright but detached, ill-informed but vocal leftist. In this category, we find mostly obnoxious hypocrites such as Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, and Sean Penn.
The next group can be described as dumb-as-a-stump ignoramus liberals, who tend to be the loudest and most annoying, and are almost as plentiful as the first category. Members of this class include Eminem, LeBron James, and Mark Ruffalo, and the list seems to be growing by the day.

Trash talk is common in sports. Whether it’s lighthearted or nasty, the purpose is the same: to intimidate your opponent and make them lose focus and feel less confident in their ability to win.
Democrats and their friends in the media are engaging in their own form of trash talk when it comes to the midterm elections. They wave around some meaningless poll or quote an “expert” who would have us believe that Republican Senate candidates are weak, President Joe Biden has had some great successes, the Democrats’ fundraising numbers give them a huge advantage, and Republicans can’t possibly win back the Senate.

In the United States, there have always been two realities with regards to the aboveground political culture. One reality engages in politics as it is presented in the media and the election process. The other reality, smaller and operating off the grid, looks at conventional politics as a farce or a fraud. The former group is larger and gets all of the attention, but the latter group seems to be on the upswing. For the most part, the American political system is a drama, a theater staged by the political class to keep people engaged.

Few people in America today are as powerful and polarising as Anthony Fauci. For the Left, Fauci is a consummate cool-headed scientist, emblematic of the essential role of government. On the Right, he is a Deep State operative who destroyed the lives of countless people to serve a hidden agenda, all while mysteriously taking home a bigger paycheck than any other of the country’s two million federal employees (including their collective boss, the President).
The reality is that both narratives fundamentally misunderstand the position Fauci occupies in American government. Far from being a public health expert, Fauci sits at the very top of America’s biodefence infrastructure.

Social media, as we currently have experienced it in the COVID-19 era, mostly exists to police thought and insist on uniformity of opinion on all COVID issues. That’s been the overarching principle that has governed since March of 2020 in this country. The government, in conjunction with major tech companies and the media, has colluded to censor anyone who has challenged the consensus opinion when it comes to masks,

To gauge the trepidation with which the Democrats view the midterms, consider their reaction to last week’s special elections in New York’s 19th and 23rd congressional districts. They eked out a two-point win in the former and lost the latter. Yet, the Democrats and their friends in the Fourth Estate hailed the NY-19 victory as a portent of doom for the GOP in November. GOP Senator Lindsey Graham has warned there will be 'riots in the streets' if Donald Trump is indicted over his mishandling of classified documents.
Graham suggested there was a two-tiered legal system based along political lines in support of Joe Biden and against the former president.
'Most Republicans, including me, believe when it comes to Trump, there is no law. It's all about getting him,' Graham said to Fox News on Sunday night.
'There is a double standard when it comes to Trump. What happened with Hunter Biden is that the FBI weighed in to make sure the story didn't break before the 2020 election.

CNN aired a rerun in place of Brian Stelter's show on the first Sunday since its cancellation.
Reliable Sources was replaced at 11 a.m. by a rerun of Inside Politics Sunday with anchor Abby Phillip, which originally aired during the 8 a.m. hour.
This comes after The Wrap reported last week that CNN has no plans at the moment to replace Reliable Sources.(Tweet/Video) “There are a number of programs in the concept and development phases, and it’s possible media coverage will be an element of a show,” a network insider told the news outlet, “but no indication that an exclusively media beat show is part of the plan.”

Back before the bad orange man did bad orange things and scrambled the brains of everyone working within the beltway, the FBI used to actually solve crimes and handle real threats to American national security. It didn’t just run around crying about Russia and attacking enemies of people with blue hair, it did a good job of fighting crime.
Well, one man from those older days at the FBI is now tearing into his former agency for involving itself in the Stasi-like Mar-a-Lago raid, calling the raid something that the feds are “going to regret.”
That man is Kevin Brock, the retired assistant director of the FBI.

Director, actor, and longtime Democrat activist Rob Reiner was incredulous at the notion that the media censored coverage of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in the run-up to the 2020 election–a fact which is no longer in dispute.
Reiner’s comments came during a discussion Friday on HBO’s “Real Time” when host Bill Maher mentioned the recent controversy surround author Sam Harris’ claims on a podcast that the media and big tech were justified in censoring the story of Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” during the 2020 election in order to stop Donald Trump’s re-election.
“They were talking about the Hunter Biden laptop which was a story,” Maher said,
