Black residents in New York filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that the city’s attempt to allow noncitizens to vote in municipal elections is unconstitutional because it was a “racially motivated” move to siphon political power from Black residents to other racial or ethnic minorities. PINELLAS PARK — Two people were killed when a speeding Ferrari crashed head-on into another car on Bryan Dairy Road on Sunday, police said.
A preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the Ferrari was heading east on Bryan Dairy Road between North 66th Street and Belcher Road at a high rate of speed about 9:40 p.m., crossed the median and crashed head-on into a car heading west, police said. The driver of the Ferrari and a passenger were killed on impact, the news release said. The occupants of the other car had injuries that police said did not appear to be life-threatening.

Who, really, is in charge at the White House? It sure doesn’t look to be President Biden.
The latest evidence came last week when chief of staff Ron Klain delivered a behind-the-scenes message to Democratic allies and staff, just hours after Biden’s disastrous news conference: The prez had failed to mention that his next Build Back Better bill would fund child and elder care, but Klain insisted it would.
As Axios reported, “Klain’s private comments are yet another indication the White House has a core set of priorities it plans to fight for” … even if the president doesn’t know about it fully yet.
There are essentially three types of celebrities who weigh in on politics, and they normally come from either Hollywood, the music industry, or the sports world. The most common is the bright but detached, ill-informed but vocal leftist. In this category, we find mostly obnoxious hypocrites such as Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, and Sean Penn.
The next group can be described as dumb-as-a-stump ignoramus liberals, who tend to be the loudest and most annoying, and are almost as plentiful as the first category. Members of this class include Eminem, LeBron James, and Mark Ruffalo, and the list seems to be growing by the day.
Trash talk is common in sports. Whether it’s lighthearted or nasty, the purpose is the same: to intimidate your opponent and make them lose focus and feel less confident in their ability to win.
Democrats and their friends in the media are engaging in their own form of trash talk when it comes to the midterm elections. They wave around some meaningless poll or quote an “expert” who would have us believe that Republican Senate candidates are weak, President Joe Biden has had some great successes, the Democrats’ fundraising numbers give them a huge advantage, and Republicans can’t possibly win back the Senate.

In the United States, there have always been two realities with regards to the aboveground political culture. One reality engages in politics as it is presented in the media and the election process. The other reality, smaller and operating off the grid, looks at conventional politics as a farce or a fraud. The former group is larger and gets all of the attention, but the latter group seems to be on the upswing. For the most part, the American political system is a drama, a theater staged by the political class to keep people engaged.
Few people in America today are as powerful and polarising as Anthony Fauci. For the Left, Fauci is a consummate cool-headed scientist, emblematic of the essential role of government. On the Right, he is a Deep State operative who destroyed the lives of countless people to serve a hidden agenda, all while mysteriously taking home a bigger paycheck than any other of the country’s two million federal employees (including their collective boss, the President).
The reality is that both narratives fundamentally misunderstand the position Fauci occupies in American government. Far from being a public health expert, Fauci sits at the very top of America’s biodefence infrastructure.

Three people were killed when a gunman opened fire at shopping mall in Bend, Oregon, on Sunday evening.
The city of Bend is located 175 miles south east of Portland. The incident took place at the Forum Shopping Center.
Bend Police Department spokesperson Sheila Miller said that the shooting began close to the Big Lots store in the mall. The gunman then moved on where he killed a person at the door to the Safeway supermarket.
Another person was killed at the back of the store, according to Miller.
A registered sex offender in Florida was apparently looking to pick up his next victim like he would a loaf of bread by offering a parent $100,000 to purchase their young daughter while strolling through a Winn Dixie grocery store last week.
The same man reportedly offered to plunk down double the money in 2018 in exchange for another woman’s 8-year-old child, according to a Fox 35 report at the time.
Police reported that they began the thorough investigation into the alleged actions of Austrian native Hellmuth Kolb after “the parent’s clear concern that someone was insistent on attempting to purchase their daughter in a grocery store.”
GOP Senator Lindsey Graham has warned there will be 'riots in the streets' if Donald Trump is indicted over his mishandling of classified documents.
