For our friends on the left, attitudes toward race have apparently come full circle. It wasn’t that long ago, less than a decade perhaps, that the mere suggestion of a major corporation openly discriminating against prospective candidates for scholarships and fellowships based on their race would have been denounced from every angle of the political spectrum.
If those being excluded from consideration were to have been limited to only white folks, there would have certainly been sympathizers with the idea from various leftists, but they wouldn’t have been brazen enough to put forth the notion publicly. And if it wasn’t only white folks whose candidacies were being barred, if non-white

Doing something illegal knowing the cost will be minuscule? Why do you think they donate $$$ Billions in cash and kind to the Dims? Why do you think they made the scholarships? To help people? You’ve been conned.

As we speak, standards are being lowered for medical school students and they are preparing CRT and diversity training for prospective new doctors. Don't get sick anytime soon.
Google is buying stock in prop-driven passenger planes and hoping nobody will notice.

The border flood and Dems are promoted by corporate interests why ?
Not 5 million more Dem voters, 5 million more Wal-Mart customers, I-Phones, and so forth.

We live in an age that makes such "heroes" as MLK irrelevant, if not on the wrong side of history. Where in the '60s the goal was integration, the leaders of race strife are bent on self-segregation and neverending conflict. The Community expects "better" by being socially separate from the discriminatory mainstream. (It cannot afford commercial segregation.) Young, especially successful blacks, are reminded to never forget where they came from...and to "Give Back." The saddest thing I've witnessed working in predominantly black organizations is the sons and daughters who regress, eschewing education and their futures while modeling the hood rat behaviors as seen on TV and pop culture, to the horror of their parents.

Race based 'anything' should be illegal, except for private entities.

This is a load of balderdash. We've been fighting Affirmative Action for over 50 years in the public sector, where it IS unambiguously unconstitutional. The private sector has been mostly free to set its own rules, and Google hasn't been nationalized. Not yet, anyway. And not overtly, anyway...

There have been race based private scholarships (only for minorities) for as long as I can remember. Sometimes they try to hide that they are race based. When I was in college over 40 years ago, I had a friend who was on a full scholarship that was only available to "Spanish surnamed Americans." His last name was Sanchez. He was mostly Irish and could not go outside without getting sunburned, but had a great-great-grandfather from Spain.

OP, there's not much difference between those two. I'm copying a part of a more lengthy discussion on search engines, FWIW: '... I eventually walked away from Bing too, because of their owners’ habit of promoting censorship. Then I used Duck-Duck-Go basically on faith for many months, but didn’t see much improvement and recently learned that they simply harvest and aggregate search results from other extreme-leftist-stupidity-pushing services who censor with glee and then deny it to try to dodge the shame (such as Bing, Yahoo, and Wikipedia), and that they contribute large sums of money to the extreme stupidity brokers, all of whom I walked away from permanently in November 2020…so I’ve left Duck-Duck-Go too. Found two more search engines, one called “QWant” (a French-developed but of course English-fluent search engine that claims to censor nothing AND to not track your searches to later try to sell you stuff). QWant is as fast and thorough as any, it seems, and they are recommended by the fair-minded. I notice that I can indeed easily find articles that tell the inconvenient truth. And although the Chrome browser I use doesn’t offer QWant as a default search engine option, I just visited the QWant site and right at the top they provided a one-click plug-in that “hijacks” the Chrome browser and forces it to thereafter use QWant as the search engine. It was VERY easy, very instant, and I recommend QWant. Now I am very happy, giving click-income to nobody arrogantly despicable enough to presume to dictate what I see, and I’m still finding everything I want. Imagine being able to actually find great, fair, thorough articles from “The Epoch Times” about something like the Arizona Forensic Audit! And from a search service that’s not trying to spoon-feed me my conclusion. It’s almost unheard of. I’m happy with QWant so far. ...'.

It ain't rocket surgery: It's re-segregation...plain and simple. Class dismissed.
