The USA is on the edge of bankruptcy which might not be a bad thing. All because Woodrow Wilson, the Puritan could not keep his zipper up. Were his nights of passion worth the destruction of our country? The lawyer Samuel Untermeyer was able to use blackmail to heavily influence Wilson and thereby the course of the US and world history on behalf of Jacob Schiff and Paul Warburg, the Wall Street bankers. They had lent money to Britain for World War One. By buying British war bonds for their own banks and the Federal Reserve

Shades of lyndon larouche. Not as good though. Casting gaddafi and saddam hussein as merely seekers of a sound, gold based financial system makes me lose interest in the story telling immediately. Paul Warburg- presumably “daddy warbucks” - is certainly interesting if you can believe larouche’s heavily footnoted tome on the federal reserve. The writer strays too far for me. Hopefully i don’t thereby miss anything of great interest, but i just can’t take it.

With a smoothly functioning economy, plenty of food is grown, plenty of energy is available. How are you going to eliminate 7.5 billion people that way? They tried the virus, and it was a bad job from their view. They had hoped for The Black Plague with the elites protected, and it fizzled. RNA viruses do that. So, now they are going to Plan B, following Stalin's plan 90 years ago to rid himself of that troublesome Ukrainian group of wealthy farmers who resisted becoming good collective farming serfs. So, they were systematically starved to death over several years. Apparently, this is Plan B.

For years on this forum - - I've been decrying the existence of the Federal Reserve System - - a creation of the racist communist Woodie Wilson. How long do we have to wait - - for freedom-loving elected officials to abolish this monstrosity? It seems like forever - - because not a single elected Pubbie is even talking about it. Re #5. That link locked my computer up totally, ctrl-alt-del did nothing, it required a power button shutdown. After reboot, it came back and I decided to try to play the audio one more time, and got part of it and it kept crashing my display driver, which would recover, until I got off of the site. I don't know what is going on there, but it does NOT get along with my computer and the latest version of Firefox.

Claptrap. Americans today possess more wealth than ever, and that doesn't include the moneyed class of billionaires. Who here ever expected to live in a $100,000 home or buy a $50,000 pick-up? Yeah, it's a numbers game, and Americans have been able to keep up and even get ahead by any standard. Our government is not going bankrupt because of the simple fact it can print money to cover the interest if not ever pay the principle. There is no intrinsic value to any currency. Even the Swiss are diluting their version of a gold standard underlying their franc to stave off pricing their products out of the world market. The Euro and Pound approach parity with the US dollar...and that's not good for anyone. Americans hate inflation, yet tolerate an annual rate of three percent to continually "stimulate" the economy to provide growth and prosperity. If the US goes bankrupt, so does everyone else. It's not the borrowers who sweat repayment but the lenders.

The irony has been remarkable from the moment the Brittney Griner Saga began in February. Griner, the multimillionaire professional women’s basketball player who became phenomenally wealthy in America, showed complete disdain for her homeland when she was living here. She refused to even enter sporting arenas until after our National Anthem was played. Griner, who is both black and lesbian, objected to the imaginary systemic racism that Democrats and their media fed her. She was vocal in her defiance and suggested that we shouldn’t even be playing the National Anthem before sporting events.

In fact, it may have run substantially ahead. Apropos of evolution, a cast addition to an upcoming Marvel series has been announced. As reported by EOnline, “Shea Couleé is bringing her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to [Disney’s] Marvel Cinematic Universe.” You might remember Shea from another show: The RuPaul’s Drag Race star has landed a role in the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. We reported earlier on how powerful Democrats are laughably claiming that the proposed addition of some 87,000 audit-minded IRS agents that will come as the result of the bogusly named “Inflation Reduction Act” shouldn’t be considered a big deal by anyone who has nothing to hide from the Internal Revenue Service. For instance, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) lied on Fox News Sunday when he told host Mike Emanuel that “The auditing is going to be focused on those with high incomes, the large corporations, etc. So, there’s no reason to be fearful. And if you paid your taxes, and

When attempting to rank or evaluate something or someone, context is everything. For instance, if we want to proclaim that a professional baseball player is an exceptional first baseman, we must first establish context. Are we comparing that player only to other first baseman playing today, in which case the bar is lower than it might otherwise be? Or are we comparing to him every first baseman who has ever played the game, in which case the great Lou Gehrig is indisputably the gold standard? Context is critical. So too does context affect one’s effort in trying to establish the qualifications of a country.

Up until around August of 2021, I was doing some contract work with a Gannett/USA Today Network paper. A friend, who happened to be one of their reporters, and I had put together a podcast and had some minor local success with it. We were able to bring in local businesses and craftspeople to talk about their inspirations, hobbies, families, and how all of these things impacted what they did. The podcast was about two years old when I was told that we couldn’t continue. The order was given to minimize contractor work to save money. It wasn’t the first time

Eric Adams, New York City’s new Democratic mayor, had an extraordinarily low bar to clear when it came to being perceived as an improvement compared to his predecessor. Adams succeeded the far-left groundhog murderer Bill DeBlasio who, for reasons that are still unclear, decided to run for president and couldn’t get his polling numbers out of the single digits in his own city. DeBlasio was a disaster. He virtue-signaled at every opportunity while simultaneously destroying the fabric of underprivileged communities. Along with Governor Andrew Cuomo, DeBlasio oversaw the single worst response to the COVID pandemic by both allowing the highest number of per capita virus-related deaths and obliterating his city’s economy.

Governors in states along our southern border have been vocal in their concerns regarding illegal immigration for years. Their school and health care systems can’t handle the additional workload, they explained. The financial burden placed on their taxpayers was excessive and unfair, they shouted. And the fact that such migrants were entering their states unvetted posed a serious threat to the health and security of their communities, they complained. But government officials elsewhere in the country, particularly in our federal government and in blue cities such as New York and Washington D.C., dismissed the pleas from governors such as Greg Abbott in Texas and Doug Ducey in Arizona.

Recruiting among the nation’s military branches is at historically low numbers as COVID, woke leaders and an anti-military culture are keeping young people away. President Biden’s debacle in Afghanistan is also sure to be on the minds of those thinking of joining up, with some wondering, “if the Commander-in-Chief won’t stand behind the military, who will?” The Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve, meanwhile, in early July barred 57,000 troops from their duties and cut their pay and benefits. It’s no wonder people don’t want to serve. “We are on the cusp of a military recruiting crisis,” Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) told Politico, citing Covid, obesity among would-be recruits,

Since the outcome of the 2020 presidential election became clear, there has been widespread speculation that there would be an epic electoral rematch in 2024, with the combatants being an incumbent Joe Biden versus Donald Trump attempting to channel his inner Grover Cleveland. Yet the closer we get to our next quadrennial exercise of choosing our commander-in-chief, the more likely it appears that we may indeed see a presidential election rematch, but with a ballot matching the ones with which we cast votes in 2016, not in 2020. Hillary Clinton’s flirtations with another candidacy are becoming increasingly clear and undeniable.

Grab the popcorn, America, stuff just got really interesting. Top aides of former President Donald Trump have suspected from the beginning that the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago came after Trump was fingered by someone in his inner circle. As reported by The Guardian, both Trump and his aides now believe a family member may have tipped off the FBI about the exact location of classified documents — in a specific leather-bound box, along with the location of Trump’s safe. One of former President Donald Trump’s strongest and most endearing personality traits is his relentless sense of humor. He’s a very funny guy. Depending on the day’s events and available subject matter, a television interview can come across like a sitcom script, sprinkled amongst some profound takes on political topics, and rants at some of his rallies can rival those of some of today’s best stand-up comedians. We’ve had humorous presidents before, with Ronald Reagan quickly coming to mind, but none at the level of Trump. And despite the intense friction in today’s political climate and national tensions having been ratcheted to previously unseen levels after last week’s outrageous Mar-a-Lago Raid,

Just in case you needed yet another reason not to take the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seriously, this story should suffice. The agency released a study on Friday recommending that people wear face masks, among other measures, to avoid catching monkeypox. The problem? The precautions the CDC suggested do not line up with what the data shows about the spread of the illness. This week’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) contained research on the spread of the monkeypox virus through contaminated surfaces. The study centered on two patients who lived together and had contracted the virus.
