One day after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago, agents confronted U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) and seized his cell phone while the congressman was at an airport with his family. Three FBI agents approached Perry, handed over a warrant for his cell phone, and then seized the mobile device — apparently without previously trying to contact his attorney.
In a statement, Perry slammed the seizure and the Biden administration's politicization of the Justice Department. "This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone,"

FBI Director Christopher "Wicked" Wray
Perhaps Mitch "MultiUseless" McConnell will be "concerned "about recent events. With Chuck's permission, write a stern letter and give extra copies to the staff.

I think I've decided to join the Defund the Police
Movement. But only for the FBI, Capitol Police and DC Metro Police.

This basically says, they didn't find what they were looking for at Mar-a-Lago. They are getting desperate.
So I'm going to say this again to those who wonder why their favorite Conservative Elected Official is suddenly turning squishy. Put yourself in their place and ask yourself if you could do better: The Washington Swamp has for decades been developing strategies to DESTROY people opposed to its narrative.
First, they research you, they research your family they research your friends. And that's just the FBI standard SOP to determine your ability to have clearance. They touch base with everyone to determine if you have skeletons in your closet. There are Raw files - the list of everything and everyone you may have been involved with, and the Vetted files which records all evidence they can prove. They don't discard the Raw files, because they have a use, later.
Second, they create a profile of your possible habits or inclinations from their research. They want most to get evidence on you that would destroy you if publicly revealed. If that doesn't exist they try to tempt you into perverted or illegal acts. Jeffrey Epstein was a go-to boy of theirs. D.C. is rife with Prostitutes, drugs and plenty of protected perversions. They will try to ambush you, so that you seem to be crooked. Then they will threaten and threaten and release hints through their media allies till you cooperate.
Third, If you manage to avoid number two, being an upright Patriot, they go to your friends and family and repeat what they tried above. If even one of your close friends and family is weak stupid, or otherwise compromisable, they will latch onto him or her, then come see you. Then you must let the chips fall where they may, or do their bidding.
If they can't get you with your past or through your family and friends, they go to Hollywood and use acting and technology to do what reality wouldn't provide. Even with the new graphics technology - think Lord of the Rings, for example - its difficult and expensive to do , and leaves a trail of potential witnesses. This is a last resort. Usually creating false trails and narratives is more reliable - see Russia Hoax and other Trump related attacks by the Swamp.
You can be a Saint going into politics, but you'll be a martyr, at best, leaving. it. Washington D.C. was built on a swamp. It has emulated the Swamp morally, since it was founded.

Sounds like we the public are going to have to have some Damascus Road meetings with those FBI agents who happen to live next door to us. Start putting them on the spot, and do it harshly. Since Congress isn't concerned, we are going to have to take up the slack.

Maybe the elected officials will be motivated to do something about this rogue leftism instead of going on TV to complain and try to incite US to anger because they're really angry while they do nothing.

Brings up several questions...HOW did they know where he was? They must have been tracking the phone...
Where did they get a warrant to tap/track his phone?
Clearly they HAD to know his phone number, why couldn't they merely call and set up an appointment/demand an interview?
The Constitution forbids arresting or interfering with Congress critters while traveling.
Just Inform him they had a warrant and would serve it unless he appeared?WHY swoop down on him in Public?
Wanna bet they had an undercover plant/operative that sent a text or made a call to set this up?
Where did they get the legal support/warrant to set up a sting on a Congressman?

The Speech or Debate Clause is a clause in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 6, Clause 1). The clause states that members of both Houses of Congress "shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony, and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their attendance at the Session of their Respective Houses, and in going to and from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place."
The intended purpose is to prevent a U.S. President or other officials of the executive branch from having members arrested on a pretext to prevent them from voting a certain way or otherwise taking actions with which the president might disagree. It also protects members from civil suits related to their official duties.
Even when a sitting congressman tried to publicize the Top Secret Pentagon papers, smuggled a copy into his office and tried to read them into the congressional record...THAT was considered privileged information/work product.
When the FBI raided William Jefferson D-Louisiana office to get proof he had been selling influence, hiding money, was involved in corruption in africa as well as here in the USA...ALL of the damning evidence was forced to be returned, all copies as well and banned from use in prosecutions.
Contents of a phone are the same as copies on paper.

Easy to find an activist judge to rubber stamp anything. They can indict a ham sandwich, especially a Republican ham sandwich. Then they head to the kangaroo court of DC where the jury pool is all radical Democrats. This is scary. The only hope we have is that the Supreme Court steps in quickly and stops this madness before people start voting with their bullets.

I've about decided to back the "defund the police" movement completely. We would be better off with just the regular crooks. The crooks operating under power of government are far more dangerous and we would be better off with nothing at all.

to quote the greatest Marine, Chesty Puller when told:
"“Sir, do you know they’ve cut us off? We’re entirely surrounded.”
“Those poor bastards,” Puller said. “They’ve got us right where we want ’em. We can shoot in every direction now.” (Burke Davis, Marine!: The Life of Chesty Puller)
so is goes with President Donald J. Trump - beware demcommies, the game is not over and it won't be until every demcommie is "assimilated" as the Borg say
