For 42 years American school children have been subject to a barrage of misinformation about our American history. This has helped cause many of them to hate America. And virtually every day we read about the results.
For example, there’s a curriculum clash in one of our nation’s most conservative states. On Friday, Gary Bauer reported that the Oklahoma Board of Education decided to downgrade the Tulsa Public School District’s accreditation. This is because in Tulsa, they’re still teaching Marxist critical race theory---which is now against the law in the Sooner State.

A transgender child, along with their parents, sued the Tennessee Department of Education this week over a law that prohibits transgender students and staff from using school bathrooms aligning with their gender identity rather than their biological sex.
The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in Nashville by a student identified as “D.H,” according to the Associated Press. The complaint states that D.H. was “assigned” male at birth but identifies as a female. D.H. began “living as a girl” at age 6 and is now 8 years old.

A woke San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank president wants you to know that Bidenflation does not affect her $420,000 a year salary.

Prominent Democrats said six times that raising taxes during a recession was a bad idea, yet the Democrats are seeking to raise taxes on companies over the weekend.
While President Joe Biden’s economy entered a recession last month, he is pushing Congressional Democrats to ram through a reconciliation bill– so-called the “Inflation Reduction Act.” The bill imposes a minimum tax on corporations with over $1 billion in profits.
Democrats in the past have opposed raising taxes on corporations during a recession.

A month ago, Axios reported, "Trust in news collapses to historic low."
Trust in newspapers was at 16%. Trust in TV news was at 11%. Both mediums lost trust by having too much opinion and not enough facts. People do not trust the facts given by opinionators, especially opinionators with whom they disagree.
That loss of trust leads to drops in circulation and viewership. (snip)As the drill sergeant said in basic training, opinions are like a certain orifice. Everyone has one. Most of them stink.
The quickest way to salvation -- to convincing people that you are a trustworthy source of news -- is to get rid of the opinions.

It seems that someone told Congress that deficits cause inflation, but forgot to mention why (or Congress wasn’t listening to the explanation). How else can you explain the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 with a straight face?
The massive spending package that Senate Democrats are set to vote on Saturday, which allocates funding for health care, fighting climate change and controlling prescription drug costs in exchange for raising some taxes, focuses largely on deficit reduction that will have no effect on inflation. It’s excessive money creation — the printing of more bills at the direction of the Federal Reserve, reducing the spending value of those already in circulation

The talk in the media is about a “beefed-up” IRS. The IRS budget for FY 2022 totals nearly $14 billion ($11.9 billion in appropriated funds) with a full-time equivalent (FTE) staff ceiling of 79,808 (75,533 from appropriated funding.)
Now, the Democrat-controlled Congress, at the behest of the Biden Administration, wants to take that up an additional almost $80 billion, with 1% going to Department of the Treasury offices other than the IRS. That adds up to nearly $93 billion, seven times this year’s budget. SEVEN TIMES.

Since Dr. Mehmat Oz won the GOP nomination in Pennsylvania to run for the state’s open senate seat, he’s been running one of the most tepid campaigns I’ve ever seen. His opponent, Democrat John Fetterman, suffered a stroke last May after admittedly ignoring his doctor for years and hasn’t been seen on the campaign trail since.
Despite those obvious issues surrounding Fetterman’s health, Oz has attempted to take the high road. Predictably, Fetterman hasn’t returned the favor and has been viciously attacking Oz as being from New Jersey on social media. In fact, the Democrat’s entire campaign has been to make that charge over and over.

Republican border-state governors are sending busloads of illegal entrants — released in their states by the Department of Homeland Security — to DC and New York City, prompting recriminations and pleas for federal cash from the Democratic mayors of those erstwhile immigrant-friendly cities.
Those mayors, seemingly unwittingly, are making the governors’ point — that the administration has created a disaster at the US-Mexico line, requiring an immediate policy shift to protect lives and state and local finances.
It started in April. Fed up with federal releases of large numbers of migrants into overwhelmed small towns in his state (including Uvalde), Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) began

The United States is preparing a new $1bn security assistance package for Ukraine, which will include munitions for long-range weapons and armoured medical transport vehicles, according the Reuters news agency.
The package would be one of the largest so far and is expected to be announced as early as Monday, three sources briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The US has given about $8.8bn in aid to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion on February 24. The officials, speaking to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, said that President Joe Biden had not yet signed the next weapons package, and cautioned that weapons packages can change in value and content before they are signed.

Former Trump administration Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday on CBS News’ streaming network that the Department of Justice was “taking a hard look” at high-ranking Trump allies and the former president himself.
CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge asked, “On January 6, do the new grand jury subpoenas suggest that the Justice Department is squarely focused on former President Trump? Barr said, “I think it definitely is a significant event. It changes my view of what’s been going on. From my standpoint, it looked to me like the department was really focusing on the lower-level people.

The January 6 Committee has promised since the start of their hearings that they would produce the evidence to nail President Donald Trump. But as anyone can tell you, all they’ve produced is bad television that people have been avoiding like the plague because they know it’s a biased witch hunt. But after nine hearings, they have not produced evidence to support criminal charges, according to George Washington law school professor Jonathan Turley. As he notes, even former prosecutor (and Senator) Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) thought it would be “very tough” to get an indictment legally.
Instead, what we’ve gotten is a witch hunt “show trial” with a controlled Democratic effort,

Sarasota school board vice chair Tom Edwards this week proudly bragged that there are school board members who are “woke” and “working from the inside” to indoctrinate children, making the remarks ahead of the August 23 primary, as voters have a chance to flip the school board in favor of pro-parents and pro-students conservatives.
“Here in the state of Florida, there are school board members that are woke,” Edwards, speaking at Wednesday’s “Support Our Schools” event, proudly declared.
“We are here. We’re working to be have your back. You need to know we have your backs,” he continued, bragging about how woke school board members are working from the “inside”

President Trump is holding a rally tonight in Waukesha, Wisconsin in front of thousands of MAGA supporters.
President Trump’s message is exceptional again. Wisconsin is getting destroyed by a corrupt Democrat Governor and a corrupt GOP Secretary of State, Robin Vos. Below are some excerpts from President Trump’s speech:
This has been an exceptional week for the America First movement. With my endorsement, Blake Masters easily won the nomination for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. Kari Lake won the nomination for Arizona Governor. Tudor Dixon won the nomination for Michigan Governor.

Indiana's legislature became the first in the nation on Friday to pass new legislation restricting access to abortions since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Other states have already banned abortion, thanks to pre-existing 'trigger laws' that went into effect when Roe was repealed, but Indiana is the first to usher in a new law.
The measure now goes to Republican Governor Eric Holcomb, who has not indicated whether he will sign it.
The ban includes limited exceptions, including in cases of rape and incest, and to protect the life and physical health of the mother.
