In May of this year, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis convened a grand jury to investigate Donald Trump’s phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which Trump urged Raffensperger to “find votes” in order to shift Georgia’s presidential tally his way.
It’s never been terribly clear why Willis is doing this. Is she ambitious and using the investigation to make a name for herself? Is she using it as a springboard for some other employment or higher office? Or is she a true believer and thinks she can find a smoking gun to pin on the former president? It seems like a major waste of taxpayer money.

Only 5% of Washington, D.C. voters cast their ballots for Donald Trump in 2020, reflecting how thoroughly anti-Trump the jury pool is there. It appears impossible for anyone perceived to be a Trump supporter to receive a fair jury trial in D.C.
There is a 100% conviction rate by D.C. jurors of anyone associated with Trump, while there has been a 100% acquittal rate for prominent Democrats. The jury selection process in the trial of Steve Bannon included startling revelations of how much animosity people in government-funded D.C. have for Trump and his supporters.
In his second term as president Donald Trump would finally dismantle the Deep State,

One of my favorite Hollywood movies is John Frankenheimer’s thriller, “Seven Days in May,” which describes an attempted military takeover of the US government. Written by “Twilight Zone” fabulist Rod Serling, the plot seemed far-fetched back in 1964. We knew that could never happen in America. Something equally sinister is playing out right now, only this time it is not a movie. The very cornerstone of our republic, the American justice system, is being sabotaged by the Democratic Party with the eager collaboration of the Biden administration.
In 2020, American cities and towns were ravaged by marauding mobs of crazed leftists. Dozens of lives were lost and damages amounted to billions.

Last weekend, a law-abiding citizen with a gun quickly ended a mass shooting in progress at an Indiana mall as soon as the gunman began firing. Less than three weeks after the state's constitutional carry law took effect, the armed bystander, identified as 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken, delivered the kill shot that stopped the active shooter who is accused of murdering three victims and wounding two others, including a little girl who suffered minor injuries.
Although it's against Simon Property Group's code of conduct for anyone to carry a weapon inside its shopping centers, local leadership was thankful the young man was "very proficient" with a pistol and took swift action regardless.

By now, you will have heard that Bruce Springsteen fans have been apoplectic over the news that tickets for his 2023 tour are in some cases going for $4,000 to $5,000. Ticketmaster, which is at least one corporation that the cultural elites do not seem to oppose, has defended the move by stating that it is part of its “dynamic system” allowing it to price “platinum” tickets on a system based on supply and demand. No need to find a scalper outside the venue. You can find one in just a few clicks. But as Bobby Olivier pointed out at NJ.com, back in 2009,

President Biden warned oil companies last week that if they don’t do more to help address rising prices, he will revoke their drilling permits on federal lands.
While touting that gas prices have fallen to below $4 at 30,000 gas stations across 35 states, he said more needs to be done.
"First, we’re going to look at ways to increase oil production from the existing wells and permits that exist today," he said. "The industry has more approved permits for production on federal lands than they can possibly use. That’s a fact. Let me say it again: They have more than they can use.

Anyone who watches “The View” expecting to get something even close to news or, for that matter, accuracy would be sorely mistaken.
They’ve shown over and over again they have problems with basic facts.
Who can ever forget this winner of a comment from Whoopi Goldberg on how “Dr” Jill Biden would make a great surgeon general from two years ago? As we reported, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) just had a great dunk on it. [Video]
“The View” and their silliness were back in the news after they started spreading all kinds of nonsense about the Turning Point USA event in Tampa

The key narrative of the Jan. 6 Committee is that Donald Trump wanted to incite the violence that took place that day.
To do this, they’ve hidden and manipulated evidence. As we’ve previously reported, they presented a doctored video of Trump’s speech, interwoven with violent images and audio, while not including the portion of President Trump’s speech in which he told his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” make their voices heard. Not once did he call for any violence or for them to break into the building.
But the committee has done even more to undermine the truth. Prior to his rally, Trump informed various military leaders

President Joe Biden said Monday that Republicans who voted against banning assault rifles are not on the side of police in America.
Speaking virtually to attendees at the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives conference in Orlando, Florida, Biden said that Republicans who refused to ban so-called “weapons of war” are not telling the truth when they claim to support law enforcement. In particular, Biden called out Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott (R-FL) for refusing to support Democrats’ gun control efforts.
“Being a cop today is a hell of a lot harder than it’s ever been,” Biden said during his speech.

If I were Al Gore, I wouldn’t be going on television shows. I would be embarrassed to have been so ridiculous and so wrong over all these years.
But he has no shame, and any media that will still book him for interviews thinking he has something consequential to say also has no shame.
Gore took that lack of shame a step further with a disgusting remark in which he compared “climate change deniers” to the almost 400 law enforcement officers who didn’t respond for 77 minutes while people were being slaughtered by a gunman in a classroom in Uvalde, in an interview that aired Sunday.

Democrats inched closer to impeaching Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a man who has been the focal point of their unhinged wrath since the nation’s highest court closed out its latest term with a series of rulings that were devastating to the political left’s extremist agenda.
Thomas, an appointee of President George H.W. Bush and the court’s longest-serving justice has received the brunt of the fury because of what he is, a successful black conservative, something that is absolutely despised by a Democratic Party that is arguably among the most racist entities in America today.

Liz Cheney asserts former President Trump is lying about offering to call up 20,000 National Guardsmen two days before the Jan. 6 riot but comments by former Secretary of Defense Chris Miller and his Chief of Staff Kash Patel claim otherwise.
The Wyoming representative told Fox News host Bret Baier that former Defense Secretary Chris Miller rejected Trump’s claim that he offered to call up the Guard and said he never requested the additional National Guard be deployed to protect the Capitol. [Video]
“Several witnesses who say they met with President Trump on Jan. 4th and he offered some 20,000 National Guardsmen to protect the Capitol building on Jan. 6th

IMHO, the GOP should refrain from showing their cards too early, lest they energize the left to vote against what they are planning.
