What can you say about the theater of the absurd that is American politics these days? I won’t try to outdo other commentators regarding Dementia Zhou’s announcement of his cancer. It turns out that he doesn’t really have cancer, according to the White House, but he does have Covid. Per the announcement that my wife just heard on the radio. Of course, coming on the heels of further disastrous polling results—including an eye-opening 18% approval rating among Hispanics in one poll—one has to wonder about this Covid announcement. Is it possible that this is simply a ploy to get Zhou out of the public eye,(snip) Or a ploy to gain

WASHINGTON—A prosecution witness in the case against former White House aide Steve Bannon acknowledged on the stand on July 20 that she has known one of the prosecutors for some time.
The witness, Kristen Amerling, said she and one of the prosecutors “overlapped” on the House Oversight Committee while it was under the leadership of former Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.).
