Buttigieg Whines About Americans Not Wanting

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg made an appearance on CNBC Wednesday morning and whined about Americans not wanting to give up their gas fueled vehicles for electric alternatives.  Worse, when asked about the dire consequences of the Biden administration's war on oil and gas, Buttigieg justified the potential for deaths as simply part of the transition to alternative energy. Meanwhile, electric vehicle owners are being warned not to charge their batteries during certain hours for fear of blackouts. "Tesla is asking its customers in Texas to avoid charging their electric vehicles during peak times in order to prevent overtaxing the state’s power grid.

Buttplug hasn't tried to buy an EV on a working person's salary. Buttplug hasn't tried to drive an EV on a road trip. Buttplug doesn't understand that the juice that goes into an EV mostly comes from coal, natural gas or nuclear. Buttplug doesn't understand that trucks and trains rely on diesel, not batteries. Basically, Buttplug is an ill-informed cretin who should never be allowed anywhere near a position of responsibility beyond managing the line at a Tesla recharging facility.

Sorry Butt Pete, the EV infrastructure is not there. BTW BP, EVs run on fossil fuel, either coal or natural gas that generates the electricity in power plants around the country. So get rid of fossil fuel, you can't drive an EV either. Butt you can't see out your navel because your head is so far up your rectum.

Yes, I get it there are people who want their 15 minutes of fame but the aforementioned people really believe that we peasants (2nd rate citizens call it what you want) can afford vehicles with that price tag. And then who can afford parts when the car breaks down. Astronomical battery costs? These elitists like Buttigieg live in a protected world.

Time is getting short to midterm election the big push is on to outlaw fossil fuel and natural gas. The idiots on the left think they can transition to wind and solar while driving their EVs but it's all a dream. The gas pumps won't go away the left is too stupid to just compete sell electric cars side by side with gasoline vehicles letting the public decide which one they want. Horses versus cars was a contest until roads were fixed then cars took over. The left knows this is all unicorns and lucky charms they are chasing. FJB

#17, two unicorns should be enough. Don't hog resources! During my teaching days, and moreso as a dean of a school of business, occasionally I had to deal with spoiled brats and their parents. Peter the Homosexual reminds me of those experiences. Spoiled brats see the world, and their place in it, in ways different than us mortals. If I had to rate Dementia Jo's cabinet members for competence, it would be a difficult task, but Peter would be at or near the bottom of a sorry lot.

I have lived in South Louisiana for the last 20+ years and have a simple standard for a family vehicle: It must have a range of 500 miles before it needs to be refilled with gas. The reason here is obvious because of something called a hurricane. Leaving town when a hurricane is coming is almost a yearly ritual for citizens living on the gulf coast. Electric cars are worthless here on the coast because they have no range. You can't stop and recharge when several MILLION people are going the same way. You need a 500 mile range.

In order to capture those images, he had to be in close proximity to an individual holding a camera — and chose to go maskless: Biden had criticized former President Trump for not wearing a mask as president, calling him “falsely masculine.”
