Appearing on Media Buzz with Howie Kurtz on Fox News to discuss Elon Musk’s refusal to move forward with his acquisition of Twitter, Fox Business Network correspondent Charles Gasparino mentioned the f-word: fraud. Stating that if Musk’s contention is correct, that Twitter has been lying about the prevalence of bots in its traffic since its IPO in 2013, that would constitute securities fraud, and could land Jack Dorsey and other executives at Twitter in prison. In Ukraine, a hundred days of warfare has passed and the Russians are still there, pounding cities, and not going away. In the east, they appear to be gaining ground in taking control of the Donbas. They still have overwhelming superiority of men and materiel, and the signals from Moscow say no let-up.
Yesterday, the Russians were actually back to shelling Kiev. So much for all that political tourism -- from Jill Biden, to Bono, to Boris Johnson, to Nancy Pelosi... Vice President Kamala Harris would defeat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical 2024 presidential match-up, according to a new poll, but the race would be extremely close.
A poll from the Harvard University Center for American Political Studies (CAPS) has found that Harris enjoys 39 support to the Republican governor's 37 percent in a theoretical contest.
