A California doctor is planning to offer abortions on a "floating clinic" in the Gulf of Mexico to circumvent state bans on the procedure. (snip) The plan is for the ship to act as a "comprehensive" reproductive health clinic with a full team of licensed health care providers offering surgical abortions up to 14 weeks, contraception and other care to patients living in states where such services are restricted, according to its website.
"Those in the most southern parts of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas may be closer to the coast than to facilities in bordering states where abortion and reproductive health care are available," the website states.

Sounds like a scam. They are in the "fundraising stage" seeking $20 million. Since states control the ports, how will people get to and from this ship - speed boats slipping out from and back to coves in the dark of night?

I doubt their real goal is a ship floating offshore, rather think they're goading people to start talking about preventing access to said proposed ship. That will let them create more noise about punishing women and girls.
California is offering free transportation, and bus tickets to a nearby state would cost them less than a floating hospital.

How many insurance plans pay for out of country, elective surgeries? I’m think few to none. So, who will pay for the transportation and immigration checks inbound? Who will approve the transport to and from using what? A ferry of death? Approve a floating medical facility the coast guard? Who will supply power and fuel to Death Island? So many questions and costs for the stupidest idea of the year!

Do they really think that there is enough demand for this service to cover the costs of crewing and maintaining a ship in seaworthy condition while staying in compliance of safety regulations?
There would also be fuel costs, fees for entering port and mooring, along with tugs and harbor pilot. All this to serve a tiny subset of the population that is lacking in self-control and financial resources.

Good idea, and to expand the business plan, also run 'blind date night with a bimbo.' The boat would be rockin'. It would be a singles cruise with a guaranteed score.
Race horses are bred one day after the mare delivers a baby horse. They call it post-partum estrus .. Why not humans??
(There would be a follow up cruise, to handle the matter of the unwanted pregnancy. And best part? A guaranteed return customer.
Someone should take this idea to Shark Tank.)

Hey, "California doctor," abortion is legal in California, obviating any need for a ship.

Go for it. Just pay you own medical bill and transportation.

Will the feds waive the COVID vaccination requirement to board a ship? No federal money may be used to promote abortions, per the Hyde Amendment.

re: #9/10/11/20/etc…. If it’s illegal where you are, go somewhere else where it’s not illegal. It’s the same as Epstein’s island. Anything goes. Disgusting.
But from a practical sense, California is already Epstein's’ island, so satan’s Dr can forego the boat and just keep doing the evil that he’s currently doing from his home base.
