Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s Tuesday testimony ought to ring the death knell for former President Donald Trump’s political career. Trump is unfit to be anywhere near power ever again.
Hutchinson’s resume alone should establish her credibility. The 25-year-old had already worked at the highest levels of conservative Republican politics, including in the offices of Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (LA), before becoming a top aide for former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows.

Meghan Markle has urged men to be 'more vocal' with their anger at the repealing of Roe v. Wade, as she revealed that Prince Harry's response to the news on Friday was 'guttural'.
The Duchess of Sussex, 40, spoke to Vogue magazine in conversation with author and activist Gloria Steinem, 88, and journalist Jessica Yellin.
Steinem declared the day after Friday's ruling that she would welcome women traveling to New York for an abortion into her own Manhattan home.
She said that her husband was a feminist, and he reacted with anger to the Supreme Court's decision.

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may campaign for president in 2024 if President Joe Biden decides not to run, CNN’s editor-at-large Chris Cillizza wrote on Tuesday.
Citing Friday’s Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, Cillizza claimed that there were “whispers” that Clinton would make a third attempt to secure the Democrat nomination, adding that another White House run “would be something that would be hard for Clinton to not at least look at” if Biden were to decline to run again.

Secret Services is reportedly prepared to push back against claims that President Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of his presidential vehicle and lunged at Secret Service when agents refused to take him to the Capitol.
Such allegations were made by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former assistant to Mark Meadows, who said she had heard the tale second hand.
Bobby Engel, the lead agent on Trump's detail, and the presidential driver at the time are prepared to testify under oath to the committee that Hutchinson's testimony is incorrect, according to multiple news outlets.
The Secret Service promised in a public statement after the hearing to respond to the allegations.

In case you were too busy caring about things that actually matter to notice, the January 6th committee is back in session. That came after its members announced an “emergency” hearing for Tuesday, including the inclusion of a “surprise” witness.
Now, you’d think going through such pomp and circumstance meant they came across some damning new evidence proving their assertion that Donald Trump organized an insurrection. But if you thought that, you thought wrong.
Rather, Tuesday’s hearing was another ridiculous parade of absurdity, full of hearsay and no hard evidence of essentially anything. Yet, one claim by a woman named Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Mark Meadows aide, truly took the cake.

Ex-White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson on Tuesday testified that former President Trump and his former chief of staff Mark Meadows were both told attendees at the Jan. 6, 2021, Ellipse rally had weapons and that Trump was frustrated that security measures were keeping those with weapons from joining the rally crowd.
Hutchinson, a former top aide to Meadows, told the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that Trump was “furious” that the Ellipse near the White House

Vice President Kamala Harris said is 'the daughter of a woman, and a granddaughter of a woman' during an interview blasting the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade.
Harris warned 'everyone has something at risk on this' on CNN after the high court scuttled federal abortion protections in its most dramatic ruling in modern history.
She attempted to strike a personal tone by remarking on its effect on her own life.
'I thought about it as a parent. We have two children who are in their 20s, a son and a daughter. I thought about it as a godparent of teenagers.

ROME — Catholic League president Bill Donohue slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Wednesday for politicizing the Eucharist by receiving Communion at the Vatican.
Pelosi, “who rejects the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortion, marriage and sexuality, received Holy Communion on June 29 at a papal Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica,” Dr. Donohue noted. “The pope was in attendance, but did not give out Communion.”
“Pelosi’s stunt was done to undercut her bishop, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone: he has told her not to present herself for Communion, citing her lust for abortion rights,” Donohue added.

“Gender-affirming care” for youth, a far-left euphemism for child mutilation, is “lifesaving” and a medical necessity, according to President Joe Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine, who is transgender. Levine faced backlash online for these comments.
Speaking at a DNC pride month event on Friday, Rachel Levine—formerly Richard Levine—pushed for gender transitions for young people. “Gender affirming care is lifesaving, medically necessary, age-appropriate, and a critical tool for health care providers,” Levine said.(Snip)A new report from the Heritage Foundation revealed that making puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones easier for minors to access has increased youth suicide rates, a finding that directly challenges

President Joe Biden joked with Spanish King Felipe VI at a lavish dinner at the royal palace in Madrid on Tuesday night as Jill Biden admitted she was worried she and Queen Letizia would clash in their outfits.
Biden pulled out one of his favorite jokes as the royals welcomed them to the largest royal palace in use in Europe. The ornate granite building has 135,000 meters of floor space and contains 3,418 rooms.
'We both married way above our stations,' Biden joked to the King and Queen after he and Jill greeted the royal couple, who stood waiting in the throne room. It is one of the president's favorite jokes
