The Left has been tempting fate since January 2021—applying its nihilist medicine to America on the premise that such a rich patient can ride out any toxic shock.
Our elites assume that all our nation’s past violent protests, all its would-be revolutions, all its cultural upheavals, all its institutionalized lawlessness were predicated on one central truth—America’s central core is so strong, so rich, and so resilient that it can withstand almost any assault.
So, we can afford 120 days in 2020 of mass rioting, $2 billion in damage, some 35 killed, and 1,500 police injured.
We can easily survive an Afghanistan, and our utter and complete military humiliation.

Since the left's goal is America's destruction, I dispute the headline. They are NOT doing this by mistake!

VDH has penned a brilliant summary of where we are, the question now is what we do about it.

"Biden inflated the money supply while debasing the value of the currency."
The last Congress and PDT ought to be taking bows over this as much as Biden. Who was it that tossed $14 TRILLION into the COVIDS bonfire of free sh-tuff? Many predicted the outcome when this spending added 50 percent to an already fearful national debt. Biden has done his bit, but to conveniently walk away from the truth of panic-induced paycheck protection, Project Warp Speed, stimulus, medical subsidies and much, much more is to allow this all to happen again, of we happen to like that administration. Now it's school loan forgiveness and G7 international aid. And we whine about a few billion mainly going to our arms manufacturers...it takes a thousand billion to make a trillion...and 14 of those (and more) are what has overcharged our monetary system and led to our inflation.

This headlong dive into oblivion all began when the Nazi holocaust collaborator, George Soros arrived on these shores. That man is E-V-I-L incarnate and seeks nothing less than the utter destruction of the U.S. economy to further his global interests. Undoing the last 40 years of Democrat-induced damage and decay will be difficult, but I know President Donald Trump is more than up to the challenge.

It’s because our nation was founded by a God fearing people, who respected each other and took care of themselves. Now half our people are Godless and only respect others when forced to do so by authority. And to boot, our government is not forcing the bad people to comply with laws only the good people are harangued.

yes, I think the left really believes that anybody can do any job: everything you really need to know in life you can learn in kindergarten. Equivaently they believe propaganda: they know that ignorant Bolsheviks took over the Government of Russia in 1917 and Russia is still there so it went well. No. the Bolsheviks were dolts and in trying to run agencies soon ran into authority problems with those who knew more so they purged them and the morons remaining made silly decisions on the basis of ideology and ran the country into the ground and that is why they didn't have any way to pay their international loan except by commandeering all the wheat of Ukraine, leading to mass starvation, the Holodomor. That is where ignorant ideologues in power take a country.

I had dinner with a young relative, recently out of the Marine Corps. We had a long discussion about many things, as he is trying to get his footing and 'set sail' on his life in these stormy times. He has a new job, it pays very well, and he's got many things that he needs to accomplish.
In any case, as we were leaving, we were talking as we walked to the cars and he noted that so many young people imagine that "THIS" (he pointed all around, meaning everything in the nice suburban area where we were) is the normal state of the world, the way things will "always be" no matter how they smash and change. We both agreed that the younger folks today have no concept that "THIS" is a very fragile equilibrium that has NEVER before existed in the whole 10,000 year sweep fo human history at any place or any time.
VDH is thinking the same thing that we were discussing. We sadly shook our heads and parted. The ignorant barbarians with their TikTok and video games, and all their other pointless things are destabilizing the country and all the good things that have been built so carefully, with such effort, and they are too ignorant, too. uncaring, to self-absorbed to even grasp that they are destroying the finest times that have ever been.

FTA ... We are reaching the inflection point quickly and will either experience the absolute destruction of the border or a radical backlash, given that the current mess is unsustainable. Either a nation with borders survives or a tribal and nomadic region supplants it.
The Republic of Texas approaches.
Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida.
We have every shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and half the Atlantic and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of.
California and New York can print their own money. If they want to trade they can use Panama. We WILL protect our borders ,north, south, east, and west.
If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa.
VDH You're welcome any time.

America’s fragility has more to do with the inaction of the largely conservative majority populace than it does the the actions of the left. In the face of lawlessness and government tyranny, the reaction Of the masses is not to grab the musket from over the mantle and join your neighbor in repelling those bent on doing harm to innocent citizens And the very concepts of self-government but rather to rely on their favorite politician(s) to “fight” on their behalf. Few of those politicians have ever actually engaged in anything more than verbal spats but are celebrated as “fighters” by those who will sit by watching their country go down the tubes, responding with ever-weakening and vague references to the 2nd amendment and “watering the tree” of liberty, hoping to be saved by their favorite mouthpiece. Our country was not made great by politicians; it was always the people stepping up. There will be no MAGA without first Making Americans Great Again.

The current state of affairs is a direct result of the education system indoctrinating college age people over the past several decades. It used to be children in grade school were fine and only college graduates hated their own country. Now the indoctrination begins in pre kindergarten. Grade school children are being taught to hate their own country. He who rules the education of our children rules the country. Much of this is also due to the complete absence of teaching our children the greatness of western civilization

Who else finds it more than a little terrifying that our constitution is so fragile and misunderstood? So few people seem to learn these things in school nowadays. When liberals are screaming that the Supreme Court Justices are “so out of touch “it just makes me downright scared. No one with even the most basic understanding of American government and haul America was founded whatever think to say that. Judges are supposed to make decision on law and facts. The constitution is the framework upon which our nation was founded, it is a written document and it says certain things, while being silent on certain things. It was designed to be hard to change. Elected politicians can make law based at least partly on being in touch with things, but judges are supposed to rule the law is written.
