Salvador Ramos' mother Adriana Reyes recently said that she had an "uneasy feeling" about 18-year-old her son who fatally shot 21 people on Tuesday, including 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. "I had an uneasy feeling sometimes, like 'what are you up to?", Reyes told ABC News in an interview published on Thursday, adding that her son is "not a monster," but that "he can be aggressive...If he really got mad." Ramos' mother also said that she was unaware that her son had been purchasing the weapons. The teen purchased two AR-15 style rifles

So where did the kid come up with the money for two rifles. The "AR-15" style rifles aren't cheap...

If he was “bullied” at the Uvalde High School why did he not go there and attempt his intended crimes, but instead went to the elementary school and murdered 19 very vulnerable fourth grade students and two teachers who never “bullied” him? Maybe because he was a big time coward?

We often hear from these parents who claim to be clueless and so shocked that their child could do such a thing. But what about the situations where the parents know something is horribly wrong and dangerous? They try to reach out to authorities in school and law enforcement but are turned away because hands are tied until the kid does something.
This is a horrible dilemma and disconnect. There are rotten parents who are essentially enablers and sometimes even participants. But I do believe there are good parents who live with the real dread of what might happen but can't do a thing about their ticking timebomb. How can we possibly fix this?

Yes, where did he get the money to buy those expensive guns?? Also true... authorities will do nothing until an actual crime is committed. Years ago, a neighbor's grown son was calling my tiny grandson to come into his house (he was wearing a pink tutu). I called the mother to inform/complain... she was distraught -- said the police could do nothing until the boy was actually caught in a crime -- which he was soon after that. I think congress-critters need to be smarter about the actual ramifications of the laws they pass on us.

Really angers me that so many schools in this country and their officials with their PhDs and Masters in "education" are spending time and wasted tax payer money on forcing transgenderism on innocent children while real mental health issues are ignored - like this POS.

On YouTube there is a minute and a half interview with a Hispanic high school classmate that knew Ramos well. For the record he said Ramos was not 'bullied' he would get in other students faces and aggravate them into a confrontation and that it was a known fact he tortured animals' to me signs of a serial murderer. Ramos also obsessed about the Columbine High School massacre and black clothing. It's false news information Ramos was 'bullied' it's their narrative to build the lie by liberal media.
Also, AR-15 style rifles are not expensive many lower foreign manufacturers, like Korea, make them for cheap. My son bought one new for less than some handguns plus ammunition is plentiful and cheap, a very common firearm.

Last I checked, two AR-15's could cost as much as $1200 each. The least expensive I've seen were about $900. That's a lot of money for a high school kid who supposedly came from a working-class family.

It's been reported that at least one of the AR 15's the disgusting perp had purchased, was made by Daniel Defense, which is quite expensive. And a very good rifle.

So much of what was originally reported was not true. It was first reported that he crashed after a chase with police. Then it was reported a school officer was wounded when he tried to enter the school, but Ramos was wearing body armor. In reality, he stood outside the school shooting for 12 minutes before going inside and no police arrived, nor was the school locked down. The true facts which are coming out don’t make the officials look good.

Haven’t we been reading that the whole family was in the drug trade and that the grandfather was in prison? I’m not buying what the mother has to say - she’s in CYA mode. Drug money would explain his ability to pay for the weapons and the family business could explain the rest of his issues. And, BTW, I haven’t seen any mention of a father in the picture at all.

Where did this kid get the dough to buy two rifles and over 300 rounds of ammo? The purchase had to be pushing 2 grand. Asking for a friend.

I disagree with the mother, that kid was a monster. Nothing can undo his heinous tantrum. I watched an analysis of the picture of his 2 guns he made including 1 with red dot sight. Analysis concluded 5k for the 2 guns.

Someone in the grandparents home where the potential perpetrator was residing had to know that he was in possession of two new rifles and an excessive amount of ammunition. The perpetrator’s grandfather when interviewed played completely dumb when it came to the rifles, as he is a convicted felon and ex-con who would probably be found to be in violation of the law if the police knew that two rifles were at his disposal in that house. Chances are both his grandparents knew that the perpetrator was in possession of the rifles because you can bet that the perpetrator would have been open and proud that he owned them. If the grandmother, who the perpetrator later shot in the face knew, no doubt she would have at least mentioned that fact to her daughter, who was the perpetrators mother, that the perpetrator possessed the two rifles. Clearly in this article the perpetrator’s mother is being quoted as believing that the perpetrator was dangerous to be around, has he got aggressive if he really got mad. One telephone call to the local police, who apparently knew of the perpetrator from past interaction when he was juvenile, might have well stopped the school shooting in its tracks before it happened, but who really knows?
