Former New York City mayor Bill de Blasio has announced that he is running for Congress in the upcoming midterm elections in November, in New York’s tenth congressional district.
De Blasio make the announcement during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Friday. It comes merely 48 hours after de Blasio announced via Twitter that he was forming an exploratory committee to raise money for a potential bid. The committee was legally turned into a formal campaign on Friday.
In announcing his candidacy, de Blasio told host Joe Scarborough that “people are hurting, they need help, they need help fast,” and that “they need leaders that can actually get them help now.”

Wow now he can hold 2 titles!
1. Worst NYC mayor ever
2. Worst congressmen ever. (A tough one but we know you can do it, Wilhem.)

THE most destructive, harmful person ever elected to mayor of NYC, and now he wants to have more power. Dangerous, harmful person. And yet, the Dems voted for him twice. Apparently they LIKE a collapsing city.

He's the worst NYC mayor ever, but Eric Adams is sure trying hard to take that title from him.

the 10th had been crazily gerrymandered for Nadler, State Supreme court threw it out...redrew it so Nadler now has to run against Maloney...AND...now DeBlasio as well. This will be the ugliest most expensive primary in History, 3 30year Dem Machine Powerhouses tearing each other apart to remain in power.Get plenty of Popcorn.

If little Petey Buttigieg can be the worst mayor in the country and win a Cabinet position, it's wide open for Wilhelm. I wonder if Petey finally learned that when one street has a green light, the other street should have a red light, except for that little arrow thing.

He can always run on his record.
This is a money laundering scheme. People donate to his campaign, he drops out, he keeps the cash.
