OREGON CITY, Ore. — — Thousands of ballots with blurry barcodes that can't be read by vote-counting machines will delay results by weeks in a key U.S. House race in Oregon's primary election, a shocking development that is giving a black eye to a vote-by-mail pioneer state with a national reputation as a leader on voter access and equity. (Snip) Elections workers must pull the faulty ballots from batches of 125, transfer the voter's intent to a fresh ballot, then double-check their entries — a painstaking process that could draw the election out until June 13, when Oregon certifies its vote. I'm starting to be very suspicious every time I read an article saying there will be a red wave in November. That still gives the democrats six months to 'fix' the vote, again. They got away with it before, nothing to stop them again.

You would think that after the 2020 election that the powers at be in Oregon would have inspected the blank ballots before they were mailed out to ensure that they were printed correctly and were legible.

Here we go ... expect this to happen every election from here on out. In Orange County, CA, 2018 mid terms republicans initially had a sweep. After a week or two they were wiped out. That was the beginning and carried over to 2020 (it was actually going on on a state level for a long time). With wide open borders and mail in ballots, we're over the tipping point. The question is, what are American Citizens going to do about it?

I paid attention to homes that sported Biden signs before the 2020 election. Since then, they've flown Ukrainian blue and yellow flags and "Mail-in voting" posters. Those people are crooked.

Ah yes, the old 'Misprinted Ballot' routine. Requiring EVERY 'Misprinted' ballot to be 'cured' manually by a Democ'RAT activist working as a poll worker. Did they have a fake 'Water Main Break' also?

Karine Jean-Pierre made her historic debut as White House press secretary this week. And after watching her first four performances as the president’s spokesperson, only one word sums it all up: amateur. To be sure, White House press secretary is one of the hardest white-collar jobs in the world, if not the hardest. Oftentimes, as we witnessed with Jean-Pierre’s predecessor, Jen Psaki, the job calls for defending the indefensible. And when 79 percent of voters believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, and when the public’s approval of the president’s handling of the economy and the border is

As the sun set on Millennium Park a day after the extraordinary move by the mayor to limit teens’ access to the city’s premier outdoor space, a janitor quietly swept away the simple, stark memorial of tea lights that were arranged in the number “16.” The small white candles to commemorate a Chicago teenager who was shot and killed at The Bean were there for less than an hour as tourists walked by. After sweeping the lights that represented the teen’s age into his dustpan, the janitor said he didn’t know what they were even there for. Gun-violence memorials, while

Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes entered the Wisconsin Democratic Senate primary with all the makings of an automatic front-runner: statewide name recognition, a national profile, big endorsements and a cushy lead in early polling. Then a multimillionaire opponent plowed more than $5 million into a flood of TV ads — all while Barnes was dark. (Snip) It all culminated this week in a burst of activity as Barnes and his allies moved to reignite the star power that once made the only Black candidate in the field the early favorite to face Republican incumbent Sen. The Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate primary election is still too close to call, the Associated Press reported Friday. The AP, which is the official source the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and several media outlets use to call races, said Friday it would not be making a call in the race that will likely head into a statewide recount between celebrity heart surgeon Mehmet Oz and former hedge fund CEO David McCormick. As of 5 p.m. Friday, just 1,079 votes separated Mr. Oz from Mr. McCormick. Mr. Oz was leading Mr. McCormick by 0.08%, which is well within the requirements for an automatic

SEOUL — One of President Biden’s security officers was arrested and accused of assaulting a South Korean citizen in Seoul a few hours before Biden arrived in the country, according to South Korean police. The individual was detained early Thursday, an official with Seoul’s Yongsan district police said Friday. The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the incident, declined to comment further. South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo newspaper, which first reported the case Friday, said the suspect was allegedly drunk and got into a fight with a South Korean over a taxi

California energy officials issued a sobering warning this month, telling residents to brace for potential blackouts as the state’s energy grid faces capacity constraints heading into the summer months. And since the state has committed to phase out all new gas-powered vehicles by 2035 — well ahead of federal targets — the additional load from electric vehicle (EV) charging could add more strain to the electric grid. “Let’s say we were to have a substantial number of [electric] vehicles charging at home as everybody dreams,” Ram Rajagopal, an associate professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, who authored

The progressive left is claiming victory in three key House races in Oregon and Pennsylvania, though votes are still being tallied. For regular readers of this site, today’s news will likely not come as a surprise, but much of the nation seems to remain unaware of it. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) has released its latest reliability assessment for the summer of 2022 and, to put it mildly, the news is not good. In far too many states, the power grid is already nearly at full capacity, and in the next few months, that capacity will be exceeded. This isn’t a question of “if” or really even “when.” It’s just a fact. Industry experts know this and have been trying to sound the alarm for several years.

These people will get us all killed. Mitt Romney called on our NATO allies to prepare for a nuclear strike from Russia. The US has already invested tens of billions of dollars in military weapons to Ukraine. The New York Post reported: The US and its NATO allies should prepare a “devastating” response to potential Russian nuclear action, Sen. Mitt Romney said on Saturday. The call to action comes on the heels of threats from the Kremlin and warnings from Russian diplomats that the country’s Ukraine invasion could lead to a nuclear strike, the Utah Republican wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times.

It’s not even on my radar,” he said, adding that Harris, who has drawn criticism regarding her performance as vice president, should succeed President Joe Biden, the Chronicle noted.

The stock market is currently in the midst of a collapse, with the Dow Jones losing nearly 5,000 points over the last 30 days. Inflation clocked in at 8.3% for April, representing another crushing blow to Americans. Of course, gas prices continue to break milestones on a daily basis. The Biden administration privately acknowledged late last month that a mathematical error is delaying the federal government’s offshore oil and gas program. In an April 29 letter to industry leaders obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says that a subagency “discovered a miscalculation” that has caused a massive backlog in permitting. Richard Spinrad acknowledged in his letter that the National Marine Fisheries Service—the subagency tasked with analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife—has used faulty computer modeling on such impacts. As a result, Spinrad wrote, the subagency overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.
