Harrisburg, Pa.—With six days until Pennsylvania's primary, Republicans are openly worrying that a leading candidate in the crowded GOP field for governor is unelectable in the fall general election and will fumble away an opportunity for the party to take over the battleground state's executive suite. Doug Mastriano, 58, a state senator since 2019 and a retired U.S. Army colonel, is running to the right of the nine-person Republican field and against the party's establishment in a state still roiled by former President Donald Trump's baseless conspiracy theories that Democrats stole the 2020 election there. Mastriano is a prominent peddler of the unsubstantiated claims that widespread fraud marred

Baseless conspiracy theories have completely proven over and over again as 2,000 Mules has just shown. Add Mike Lindell's research and evidence and it's pretty clear the Demonrats did, in fact, steal the election and we are now living under an insurrection executed on November 4, 2020. "Far-right" is code for a MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporter. Get a life, Marc Levy. Your stupidity and brainwashed idiocy are showing.

We need another RINO in PA. AssPress is in full panic mode that Mastriano will find that the baseless claims that they swear are as baseless as Hunter's laptop might win and they'll have to face their readers ire for lying to them for the last 2 years.

there they go, again. the repubs, now at the state level, shooting themselves in the foot by denigrating a repub candidate who has shown leadership and moral and ethical qualities needed to be the lead political figure in a state that could use some leaders with those qualities - saw him on many interviews and he would be my favorite if I lived in Pennsylvania

Gee, from the far left Associated Press. Has a court ruled on the vote fraud issues? Or is it Levy ruling?

This Articles is full of blatant lies. Here's one example:
The Article asserts that Doug wants to prevent all abortions in Pennsylvania with no exceptions.
Here's Doug's position on abortions in PA:
"In 2019, Mastriano introduced pro-life legislation that would require doctors to determine whether a baby has a heartbeat before performing an abortion, according to his website. If the baby does have a heartbeat, the doctor would not be able to perform the abortion, removing the need to impose a gestational time limit on the abortion access. Mastriano and Rep. Stephanie Borowicz (R-76) indicated that more than 90% of pregnancies in which the baby has a heartbeat are viable."

This article is from the Associated Press. The does not tell us the truth. For eaxmple the AP in this article said "In a state still roiled by former President Donald Trump's baseless conspiracy theories that Democrats stole the 2020 election". You get the picture?

I believe they are fear mongering again. Either that, or attempting the old "don't throw me in that briar patch".
Mind, i don't know enough about their 'nightmare candidate' to judge, but with primaries on the 17th, its a little late in the game to scream in fear, if the candate is really fearful to them. More likely, they are trying to suck off votes from someone else.

How revealing that the Associated Press thinks the Republican Party is somehow separate and distinct from the actual members of the Republican Party who vote in Republican primaries.

The slant in this screed would be comical if it weren't so dangerous, with most people simply taking news reports at face value. The only bit of truth is that the GOP certainly despises anyone outside of the Uniparty, and will fight them with everything they've got.
