CNN contracted for an urgent poll of voters [Article Here] to gauge the anticipated enthusiasm bump that Democrats were expecting for the mid-term elections. [SEE POLL pdf HERE] However, unfortunately for the wide-eyed narrative engineers expecting the stratospheric shift in support…. the results show no one really cares. LOL The results from the poll show despite about a 50/50 split in response to the question about have you heard of the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v Wade, there was almost no statistical change in voter opinion from prior polling.

Sciutto stated, “This morning, law enforcement officials are preparing for potential violence in the capital and nationwide after the leak of that Supreme Court draft opinion that would strike down Roe v. Democratic strategist James Carville said Thursday on CNN’s “OutFront” that the average American does not understand how good the U.S. economy is doing.
Burnett said, “So mentioned a new CNN poll that found two-thirds of all Americans now disapprove of how President Biden specifically is handling the economy, two-thirds of all Americans. That’s bad. On top of that, more than 50% of Democrats think the economy is in poor shape, up 16 percentage points from December. Eighty-one percent of independents think the economy is in poor shape. These are all bad, no good numbers in this entire thing. How big of a problem is this for the president?”

Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned the world is “still in the middle of a pandemic,” less than two weeks after stating the U.S. was “certainly … out of the pandemic phase.”

“There’s no confusion about that. But when I say we’re out of the acute fulminant stage right now, what I mean is that cases have gone down dramatically,” he explained,

Conservatives have every reason to feel confident these days.
Elon Musk is buying Twitter and intends to restore free speech to the social media platform. States nationwide are following Florida’s lead to protect parental rights in education. Hillary Clinton’s former campaign lawyer will soon be facing trial for lying to the FBI. Polls show Republicans are likely to make historic gains in the upcoming midterms and possibly retake both the House and Senate. And, maybe most importantly, the Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade.
Often with success comes arrogance. We assume that just because we’re winning now

Does anyone think it normal that the White House has refused to condemn the doxxing of six Supreme Court justices in the wake of the Court's likely overturn of Roe v. Wade? That's a full-blown invasion of personal privacy, quite unlike a protest at the Court members' workplace, with all its menacing implications. The White House, despite the fact that its officials are hardly exempt from the same kind of treatment from criminals, simply refused to do it.
White House spokesweasel Jen Psaki just danced around the topic before coming down squarely on the side of the doxxers.

The FBI decision to spy on a former Trump campaign adviser hinged on an unsubstantiated rumor from a Clinton campaign-paid dossier that the Washington Post's Moscow sources had quickly shot down as “bullshit” and “impossible,” according to emails disclosed last week to a D.C. court hearing the criminal case of a Clinton lawyer accused of lying to the FBI.Though the FBI presumably had access to better sources than the newspaper, agents did little to verify the rumor that Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page had secretly met with sanctioned Kremlin officials in Moscow. Instead, the bureau pounced on the dossier report the day it received it, immediately plugging the rumor

President Joe Biden is catching heat for remarking on the old days of having lunch with “real segregationists” during an event in Ohio, but readers should keep in mind that this isn’t the first time Biden has made such comments. In fact, during the 2020 campaign, then-Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) rebuked similar statements made by Biden as being “misinformed and … wrong.”While appearing on stage in Hamilton, Ohio, with Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Rob Portman (R-OH) on Friday, the president went off on a tangent regarding the apparent lack of civility in D.C. nowadays that America sees from the halls of Congress.

Ukraine reports that it has killed about 26,000 invading Russian soldiers. Ukraine’s reports of Russian losses – unlike Russia’s own reports – have been fairly reliable, say observers, though NATO estimates a somewhat lower number. As for Ukraine’s own dead, they appear to be significantly fewer than Russia’s even after including the civilians that Russia has murdered.
Ukraine’s figures are not inconsistent with a report from the U.K. that over one-fourth of Russia’s 150,000-man army attacking Ukraine, amounting to perhaps 40,000, has been rendered “combat ineffective.” That means they’re dead or wounded badly enough that they can’t fight.

On Wednesday, Psaki gave a very troubling answer when questioned on whether the Biden White House would view a majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade as a “legitimate” ruling.

Justice Antonin Scalia was among the most prescient Supreme Court justices in American history, and the firestorm over the leak of Justice Samuel Alito's draft opinion overturning Roe is a reminder of it. In Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey, the 1992 Supreme Court decision upholding (and amending) Roe v. Wade, the justices in the majority believed that they could settle once and for all the dispute over abortion.Scalia thought this was outlandishly wrongheaded and said so in a dissent that looks farsighted 30 years later. Not only did the Court fail to calm the political waters on abortion, it made itself central to the political and moral argument

It’s virtually certain that the virus was engineered in Wuhan with financial and technical assistance directed by that highly competent bureaucrat, Anthony Fauci. But that doesn’t tell us what we should expect as the virus moves through society. For that, we must look at the science. And I don’t mean “I am science” Fauci. I mean real scientific data, something with which Fauci has little acquaintance.
Perhaps we should start with that great scientist, Oprah Winfrey, who recently opined that ending the mask mandate on airliners was “premature.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is warning that requiring a permit for concealed carry subcontracts out constitutional rights to the whims of the person approving permit applications.
News4Jax noted that DeSantis described the concealed permitting process on Tuesday as a “licensing scheme” run by people who can take away your license if they so choose. The Governor made clear he wants to replace the permitting system with a constitutional carry framework.
Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried is the individual who oversees concealed permitting in Florida. She is also a Democrat candidate for governor in the state. Fried responded to DeSantis by calling the push for constitutional carry “absurd political pandering

We don’t know who leaked the draft of the high court’s Roe v. Wade decision, but whoever it was, he or she was almost certainly a leftist Democrat. How do we know this? They, more than any other group, have a bred-in-the-bone hatred for America’s constitutional order that borders on the pathological.
Most Americans don’t know this. Indeed, they believe that, whatever policy differences we have, we’re all one in loving America’s Constitution and the rights and freedoms it protects. Yet, whenever the left is upset at a Supreme Court decision, it instantly calls for radical changes so it can win in the future.

It has been odd and alarming watching the powers-that-be relentlessly escalate the proxy war our government is waging against Russia. (snip) But there may be method to this madness. (snip) A serious conflict would provide the Left an opportunity to seize complete domestic control, to cement its power — perhaps permanently. For certain is that locking horns with Russia would be used to further curtail civil liberties.
We know this because major conflicts always are thus used. Abraham Lincoln arrested opposition journalists and publishers during the War Between the States. WWI saw the passage of the Espionage Act of 1917 and the Sedition Act of 1918
