Chief Justice John Roberts released a statement Tuesday morning confirming that the Supreme Court was launching a full, formal investigation into the source of Monday's leak of the draft opinion showing an overturn of Roe v. Wade:
To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way.
We at the Court are blessed to have a workforce – permanent employees and law clerks alike – intensely loyal to the institution and dedicated to the rule of law. Court employees have an exemplary and important tradition

The FBI will just cover up the leaker. They can't even find Hunter's laptop, even though it was delivered to them on a silver platter.

That's an easy one - start with Breyer's clerks. They have nothing to lose and this will be a real resume enhancer with a liberal firm like Perkins Coie...

I find it puzzling that so many people are upset about the leak of SC opinions. Why would anyone think there is any integrity in any US gov institution the SC is just the latest to fail.Both parties are responsible but at least with the republicans there is chance they could change , with the dems no way.

Probably some 20 something prep school, Ivy League graduate puke who has a closet of participation trophies in their closet. And I'll bet they told friends about this and they all agreed it was the thing to do to make our country safe for a woman's right to kill her baby.

Amit Jain is Sotomayor's clerk. He fed a story about Kavanaugh to Politico. The same Politico reporter who published the leak. Get Jain's phone and start from there. Then impeach Sotomayor.

If an SC justice was involved, the coordinated pro-bort screaming and furor will rage on until the final decision is made public at the end of the current term. But, the other part of the story will quietly go away: no results from the "investigation", no one arrested, no one fired, no one will be held accountable. And, I will not be surprised when, months from now, the (media-anointed hero) leaker is on CNN/MSNBC bragging about what they did, speaking from their new, impressively titled, big-money job at a progressive non-profit. Just color me cynical on this issue.
Like many others, I have prayed for 40+ years that God would forgive us and cleanse our nation corporately and individually of the sin of murdering our children - casually disposing of them for the sake of convenience. I firmly believe abusing children and filming it to sell over the internet is another form of that same sin. Abortion in this country was sold to us as necessary, even compassionate, to help women in the event of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother. But, few if any, are actually performed for those reasons.
These days, conception can be prevented - in at least 7 different ways (the pill, IUD, spermicidal foam, rhythm method, condom, tubal ligation, vasectomy, abstinence). Any child who is afterward conceived and unwanted can be fostered (and monitored for a good outcome) or hopefully adopted by loving, caring parents. We have a safety net to catch and care for these children and it needs to be strengthened.
John Adams, observed, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." And, our national constitution protects the right to secure your person and your papers if you are not involved in any wrongdoing. It does not expressly protect abortion.
Thank God for the (coming?) change, if not now then soon. The battle is not over. It seems, from a legal standpoint, the issue should be placed in the hands of state legislators and/or on the ballot of each state for their (moral and immoral) citizens to decide. After many years of steadfast, unrelenting prayer by millions of people, common sense AND the science clearly seen in every baby's ultra-sound just might prevail after all.

Sooo..it's a "Surprise Leak"...but the Capitol police found out and responded sooooo rapidly that they had barricades up within minutes,
The very Same Capitol police that evacuated the very same place because a US Military parachute show team was dropping into a Sportsball game outside of town.

HOW did they know it?
(Notice, suddenly Code Pink will be back out front, they totally disappeared when Antifa "Suddenly" became ever present everywhere, with the same funding, the same flying defense squad of lawyers, same supporters)
Imma gonna guess the "Leaker" will step forward as if they are a "Vindeman"...a "Hero"
