We have covered the FBI’s investigation of the case of Ashley Biden’s diary in a series of 17 posts under the heading of “The O’Keefe Project.” This is the eighteenth. I don’t think anyone has devoted as much attention to the story as we have. The collaboration of the FBI with the New York Times attracted my interest, but my judgment is that every aspect of the story merits attention. Something’s happening here. Tucker Carlson opened his FOX News show on Friday evening with an 18-minute segment on Ashley Biden’s diary. /snip/ As he formulated questions for reporters to pose to President Biden about the diary

It is unclear how the four inmates escaped. It is also not known if the four men escaped together. 185 male inmates are housed at the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg camp, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

Amid an ongoing energy crisis nationwide, two environmental law groups are suing the Biden administration to block over 3,500 oil and gas leases that were previously greenlit in Wyoming and New Mexico.
Represented by the Western Environmental Law Center, the Center for Biological Diversity and WildEarth Guardians are suing the Department of the Interior (DOI) and its Secretary Deb Haaland, as well as the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and its Director Tracy Stone-Manning. The government is violating the Endangered Species Act and others, the groups alleged Wednesday.
“Climate change is driven primarily by the burning of fossil fuels for energy and transportation activities,” the lawsuit

California Governor Gavin Newsom tried to reframe the political narrative on crime Saturday, claiming that America has a “red state murder problem,” rather than a problem of homicide in Democrat-controlled cities across the nation. Newsom was speaking with Elex Michaelson, host of The Issue Is podcast, on the occasion of the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles. He claimed the media had inflated the broader significance of the recall of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin. Newsom, a former mayor of the city, said that the recall had been “so predictable,” and that he had “enjoyed it,” though he argued that nothing about the recall “warranted the attention nationally

Kentucky’s latest Democratic Senate candidate to challenge Senator Rand Paul, Charles Booker, released a campaign video Wednesday which features him wearing a noose.
The video was an apparent attempt to highlight Senator Paul’s opposition to a 2020 bill that would have made lynching a federal hate crime. It appears that Booker wants to utilize racially charged imagery to illicit a response during the 2022 midterms.
The video starts with a graphic warning and opens with a shot of a noose hanging from a tree.
“The pain of our past persists to this day,” Booker says in the opening lines. “In Kentucky, like many states throughout the

Tulsa Deputy Police Chief Eric Dalgleish said the suspect who attacked the St. Francis Hospital campus was a “black male estimated to be between 35-40 years old.”
Breitbart News reported the attack occurred late Wednesday afternoon. Initial reports indicated three innocents died and that figure was later updated to four innocents were killed.
The attacker was also killed via a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
CBS News reported police have not identified the attacker yet, but Dalgleish believes they are close to doing so. The deputy police chief would only say the deceased suspect is a “black male” who appears to be between 35-40 years old.

The California State Senate has passed a bill that would allow schools not to report threats or attacks against employees or officials to law enforcement, despite the ongoing national shock and outrage over the Uvalde, Texas, mass school shooting.
The bill, SB 1273, introduced by State Sen. Steven Bradford (D-Los Angeles), passed easily last Thursday — just two days after the Uvalde shooting, in which an 18-year-old gunman murdered 19 children and two teachers in an elementary school. The bill repeals a provision of existing law that requires that “whenever any employee of a school district or county superintendent of schools is attacked, assaulted, or physically

Where was Salvador Ramos born? Early reports say he was from North Dakota. North Dakota is a big state. In what town in North Dakota was the future mass killer born? Where is a copy of his North Dakota birth certificate? How about a baptism certificate?
I took Mr. LoCascio’s Critical Thinking class in high school in 1970 AD. This class taught us to question sources and not to believe everything we read.
In this era of “fake news” and disinformation, I think it is fair to ask the question, “Where was Salvador Ramos born?”
We’ve learned that the initial reports by police about the shooting are not

The Texas gun store where teen school shooter Salvador Ramos got an AR-15-style rifle before his rampage was previously part of an ammunition smuggling case involving the Mexican drug cartel, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In 2009, a businessman from Uvalde’s neighboring town of Eagle Pass was accused of trying to smuggle more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition into Mexico, ICE said.
The firepower was purchased at Oasis Outback LLC in Uvalde — the same gun shop where Ramos got one of the rifles found inside Robb Elementary School after he massacred 21 people there last week.

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) argued that it has been proven that if a shooter “has weapons of war, and has the unbelievable automatic weapon,” then a law-abiding citizen with a gun responding “doesn’t work.”
Jackson Lee said, “We have no universal background checks here in the United States or Texas. And so, right in my district, in the NRA convention, they were selling guns without background checks at the private gun shows. They don’t care about domestic abuse. They don’t care about intervention on violence, no laws. And they don’t have any red flag laws and they certainly have not banned assault

The Uvalde public school district is no stranger to campus lockdowns. In October 2021, Mayor Don McLaughlin reported the district had been forced into lockdowns 48 times during the first few months of the school year, largely due to human smuggler pursuits near campuses.
At the time, Uvalde Mayor McLaughlin joined with a commission of local government representatives of Kinney and Uvalde Counties to demand action from the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) regarding the growing border crisis, Breitbart Texas’ Randy Clark reported. The county and city officials detailed the consequential impact of the border crisis on local resources.

Sometimes something is so horrifying that you simply cannot process it – your brain tells you that it’s not real, that it can’t be real, but the horror now approaching us is all too real. Millions of people are likely to starve to death in the next year – we know it’s coming, we know why, and yet our garbage ruling caste is paralyzed. Inflation, particularly of fossil fuels, and the crop failures caused by lack of fertilizers (again, exacerbated by lack of fossil fuels), will mean mass starvation. Oh, when the TV is filled with pictures of skeletal kids, the regime adherents will mean mass starvation
