Portland Public Schools plans to provide free menstrual products in both the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms as districts move to comply with an Oregon state law for “menstruating students.” “Starting next year (2022-23), products will be available in all restrooms (male, female, and all-gender) in every PPS building where education occurs,” said the April 19 memo titled “Update on PPS Implementation of Menstrual Dignity Act.” Last year, Democratic Gov. Kate Brown signed HR 3294, which requires K-12 public schools and universities to stock bathrooms with tampons and sanitary pads at no cost to students to give them the “opportunity for safe, dignified self-care.”

I don’t really know anyone that eats at Subway anymore – it offers stale bread, tasteless lunch meats, and soggy vegetables. At least back in the day you could get full for $5, but even now a basic sub runs almost double that. The sinister Covid lockdowns didn’t do much for Subway’s business, either.
Of course, no analysis of Subway’s futile decline would be complete without accounting for their hair-brained hiring of pink-haired ingrate Megan Rapinoe.

Violating hundreds of years of norms and ethics, a leaked memo from within the Supreme Court purports to show a majority of the nine justices having indicated a willingness to overturn the half-century-old Roe V. Wade decision. If true, the leak itself is nothing short of blatant judicial intimidation and amounts to an insurrection in its own right, according to D.C. politicians and pundits.

If you thought you were going to have a nice peaceful start to the week, think again. In a shocking development that is unfolding even as we write, someone has leaked information that SCOTUS may be preparing to overturn Roe v. Wade.
A leak like this is unprecedented, and some have surmised that it may well be a last-ditch effort for Democrats to motivate their base. Not such a crazy notion, as Monday night brought word that Democrats from across the country have already been calling for the elimination of the filibuster to help them protect the most sacred tenant of their faith – abortion.
