Private donors led by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg pumped more than $400 million into administering the 2020 presidential election, money that was often funneled by Democratic operatives into Democratic districts in what became essentially a get-out-the-vote effort for President Biden. The total amount of private donations for carrying out the 2020 election exceeded the federal government’s entire allocation for election spending in the same year.(Snip)These groups funneled much of the money to cities and counties rich in Democratic voters for purposes that appear less centered on voter safety and more focused on increasing turnout among certain voting groups. The federal government, outspent by private donors,

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is plotting a White House run—and his new policy of bussing illegal immigrants to DC is part of his plan to woo GOP voters, analysts believe. Gov. Abbott was praised by fellow Republicans after he sent two buses full of Latin American asylum applicants to the U.S. Capitol last week. He has vowed to continue to do so as border states brace for a huge influx of migrants from next month when President Biden brings a Trump-era law that guaranteed immediate expulsion to an end. Party insiders allege Abbott's 'audacious' response to the border crisis is a first step towards a presidential bid,

Mayor Eric Adams on Sunday tried to assure the public that the subways are safe after last week’s rampage—while arguing other big cities have crime and Gotham isn’t nearly as dangerous as it used to be. Adams and his police commish, Keechant Sewell, appeared on TV touting transit safety just five days after a madman opened fire on a Brooklyn train, wounding 29 people.(Snip)NYPD statistics show that so far this year, major felonies reported in the subway system rose 68%, robberies in the subways surged by 72%, and felony assaults have increased by 28%. Figures released earlier this month also revealed a 37% increase in major crimes

Two men were formally charged this week in connection to a string of attacks against three Sikh men in Queens, prosecutors said.
Vernon Douglas, 19, was arrested Thursday after investigators said he approached a 70-year-old man in traditional Sikh clothing, and punched him in the face unprovoked just before 7 a.m. near 95th Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard in Richmond Hill on April 3. The victim, identified by the Sikh Coalition as Nirmal Singh, suffered a broken nose and bruises to his face.(Snip)Prosecutors allege Douglas struck again on April 12, targeting two more Sikh men with a stick, which the 19-year-old used to strike both men

A pair of Arizona diversity, equity and inclusion 'experts' have been blasted for falsely accusing an African-American DJ of wearing blackface at an event. Jill Lassen and Stuart Rhoden, who advocate for diversity at the Scottsdale Unified School District in various capacities, wrote scathing letters of complaint after DJ Kim Koko Hunter appeared at a PTA event, and they mistook him for a white man. Stuart and Rhoden have since apologized, with some noting the irony of 'diversity and inclusion' activists rushing to such false conclusions. But Rhoden also sought to double down on his initial allegation, and speculated as to whether Hunter may have used cosmetic products

At Easter the Little Petra guesthouse in the heart of Jerusalem’s Christian quarter should be bustling with pilgrims. Instead, the only ‘guests’ are a group of Jewish settlers who, judging by the charred double doors leading to what was the hotel’s souvenir shop, look like they checked in with cutting equipment. But this is not just an unholy squabble over expensive real estate between Christian and Jewish communities in the old city. It’s part of what Jerusalem’s church leaders believe is an existential threat to all Christians in the cradle of the faith.(Snip)‘An exodus of Christians will turn us into Disneyland,’ says the Anglican Archbishop of the city,

The European Union’s anti-fraud body has accused Marine Le Pen and several of her party members–including her father–of embezzling about €620,000 while serving as members of the European parliament.
France’s investigative website Mediapart published a section of the new 116-report alleging that the MEPs misused EU funds for national party purposes. The claims come a week before the second round of the presidential election, on 24 April, in which Le Pen will go head to head with Emmanuel Macron.(Snip)In one incident reported by Mediapart, Marine Le Pen is said to have made a claim in 2010 worth €5,000 for hotel rooms for 13 far-right

He was initially detained as one of three people initially identified as persons of interest in Saturday's shooting at Columbiana Centre. No fatalities have been reported. But nine people were shot and five people suffered injuries, including broken bones lacerations and a head injury, while attempting to flee the mall for safety. The victims ranged in age from 15 to 73.

Immigration officials wasted $17 million dollars on unused hotels for migrants last year, after hiring a politically connected contractor that failed to meet COVID-19 protocols, a government watchdog found. Immigration and Customs Enforcement entered into the $87 million contract with the nonprofit company Endeavors to provide services for the surge of migrants at the southern border, the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General said in a Tuesday report. ICE should have sought multiple bids for the work, instead of signing onto the “sole source” deal with Endeavors, which required the agency to pay for a block of more than 1,200 hotel rooms, no matter how many were used,

Austin, Texas—Some Gullett Elementary School students received a rather strange item Thursday from the Easter Bunny: unopened condoms. In a letter to parents, Gullett principal Tammy Thompson says that a parent had visited the campus in Northwest Austin Thursday afternoon during dismissal dressed as the Easter Bunny and handed out plastic eggs. Thompson says that some eggs contained candy, but some students were also given unopened condoms by the parent. Gullett parents were assured in the letter that this was not planned or sanctioned by the school. Austin ISD says that the parent was asked to leave, but they went to the public sidewalk and continued to give away eggs,

Former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said she was denied entry to an upscale steakhouse due to her attire Friday. Ms. Bottoms tweeted that she should be able to wear “mall” attire because the Capital Grille restaurant she visited is located at the Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Georgia. “Asked if I could sit in the bar area and was told, ‘No.’. Rules are the rules, just wonder if the woman who came in immediately after me, who I did not see come back out, was also denied service,” she wrote. Ms. Bottoms’ clothing violated the restaurant’s dress code, according to its website. “For the comfort of all guests

The CIA concluded in early 2017 that dirt tying former President Trump to Russia that was provided by Clinton campaign lawyer Micheal Sussmann was “not technically plausible,” special counsel John Durham said in a court filing posted Saturday. Mr. Durham alleges that in February 2017, Mr. Sussmann met with a second government agency where he presented evidence purportedly linking Mr. Trump to Russia. Although Mr. Durham doesn’t name the agency, it has been previously confirmed that Mr. Sussmann met with the CIA around this time. During the meeting, Mr. Sussmann presented the CIA with allegations of a secret communications channel between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank,

The EU has an FBI too. And in Pravda, "far right" means anything not aligned with global Marxism, which most people see as a negative, and so like "racist," the propaganda media always include that useful smear in their biased reporting.
