One of the most visible signs of our federal government’s corruption is the treatment being meted out to the January 6 prisoners, who have been deprived of their express and inherent rights under the Constitution, one of which is the right to an impartial judge. Dustin Thompson, however, was not accorded that right, as Judge Reggie Walton explicitly showed his political bias and hostility to Thompson. Walton should have recused himself before the trial. With the trial over, at the very least, the judgment should be reversed. Ideally, Walton would be removed from the bench and disbarred.
The Bill of Rights describes rights inherent in the individual; they are not “gifts”

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin has written 36 letters, starting in August 2020, to many agencies — FDA, CDC, NIH, NIAID, HHS, and DoD — about the mishandling of COVID-19, lack of transparency, adverse events, lack of early treatment, vaccine mandates, and health care freedom.
The DoD has not provided a single response. Some of the other agencies have responded, although the majority of the responses received were considered incomplete. The grossly inadequate reaction to Senator Johnson's legitimate oversight demonstrates a level of arrogance toward the American public that is unacceptable. In particular, the lack of transparency from federal health agencies has eroded public confidence

Mayor Eric Adams, who had called white people “crackers”, claimed that he needed his brother to head his security because of an "increase in white supremacy" in New York City.
The New York City Board of Health falsely claimed that racism was a "public health crisis" and a public school told parents to abolish their “whiteness”.
After all that time battling white supremacy, which is as easy to find in the city as good manners and parking spaces, the black supremacist subway terror attack came out of the blue.
29 people were wounded, including a pregnant woman and a 12-year-old, when Frank James, a racist gunman, opened fire on a Brooklyn subway train.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul hates it when other people are happy. This is especially true of political opponents who smile after doing something she disagrees with.
Hochul criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was caught smiling after signing a bill restricting abortions in the state of Florida. Hochul not only grumbled about DeSantis’s happiness, but she also managed to include a plug for abortion mills in the state of New York. [Tweet] “Smiling from ear to ear as he rips away the reproductive rights of Floridians. It’s cruel and despicable,” Hochul tweeted. DeSantis, of course, “ripped” nothing away. Abortion is still legal in Florida.

ROSLINDALE, MA- If anyone saw the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie “Kindergarten Cop,” you remember a scene in which one of the young whippersnappers instructs John Kimball, the character played by Schwarzenegger in basic human anatomy: “Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina.” Little did we know back then that gender isn’t a matter of anatomy or biology but instead is based on a “guess” by the doctor who delivers the child during childbirth.
At least that’s what a clearly misguided Boston-area teacher believes. Ray Skyler, who teaches first grade at Brooke Roslindale School in the suburb of Roslindale, claims. We would love to slam this woke take on gender “assignment”

Cindy Axne is the only Democrat in Iowa’s Congressional delegation, and she may not hold that distinction much longer; in 2020, she was reelected with only 48.9% of the vote, down from 49.3% in 2018. If November 2022 turns out to be the red wave that nearly everyone is expecting, and given how sharply her values diverge from those most Iowans, Cindy Axne will be back in West Des Moines looking for work. It couldn’t come a moment too soon. Axne, who has mocked her Christian constituents, recently put on that most visible sign of the oppression of women, a hijab, to visit an Islamic center in Des Moines.

In a shocking move, mega-ice cream seller Baskin-Robbins has re-branded itself for 2022 — and neglected to include any obnoxious, in-your-face woke themes in its new marketing! No parade of rainbow creatures, no pant-suited feminist mascots, no underdogs bravely standing up to America’s racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted, xenophobic system. There’s nary a victim nor a woke hero to be seen. It’s almost eerie. [Tweet w/ ad] Almost as inexcusably, the re-launched branding is relentlessly positive. The new campaign — the first in 20 years for the 77-year-old company — is called “Seize the Yay.” It focuses on celebrating the myriad joys of ordinary life. In a press release, Baskin-Robbins explains:

It didn’t take John Legend’s endorsement of Soros-funded San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin to prove he is a walking tool. What it does do is reinforce what a champagne elite he is. [Tweet] This is just one tweet in a long thread where the EGOT-winning singer-songwriter basically endorses every progressive Democrat running for district attorney across the nation.
What. A. Shock.
Legend and his toxic wife Chrissy Teigen own several houses, none of them in San Francisco. Their $14.1 million Beverly Hills mansion is their most recent acquisition. In the event they get bored wandering through all those bedrooms, they head over to their 3,400 square foot West Hollywood mansion.

In 1998, Congress passed the Mickey Mouse Protection Act. In a classic case of bipartisan corruption, the bill brought together Republicans, along with Barney Frank and John Conyers, to do a special favor for Disney and for other entertainment industry companies.
The Mickey Mouse Act (formally the Copyright Term Extension Act) was one of a series of measures that took the original copyright system, meant to protect an author's rights, and instead turned it into a permanent monopoly cash cow for Hollywood studios.
Mickey Mouse, a character created in the 20s, will only become public domain in 2024.
That is if Republicans don’t once again decide to do a special favor

On Tuesday morning, New York Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin surrendered to authorities “to face fraud-related charges in connection with a previous political campaign,” according to a report from The Daily Beast.
Benjamin was arrested on multiple charges, including bribery, over an alleged plot to get campaign contributions in exchange for a state grant.
Benjamin is expected to appear in Manhattan federal court Tuesday afternoon, and the U.S. Southern District of New York is scheduled to hold a press conference at noon. Gov. Kathy Hochul appointed Benjamin as her lieutenant governor last year.
According to NBC New York, “The investigation into Benjamin came after the FBI arrested his fundraiser, Gerald Migdol, in November.”

“Joy, immortal incandescence
Daughter of Elysium!
Breathing fire from your presence
To your temple ground we come.”
This is the invocation of joy that begins Friedrich Schiller’s great Ode, whose first three stanzas were set by Beethoven in the final movement of his 9th Symphony. Baltimore Symphony conductor Marin Alsop has replaced them with doggerel from a local rapper. She explained to Baltimore magazine:
You know, the [Friedrich] Schiller poetry is phenomenal, but it’s not relevant for us today. (Snip) Alsop also inserted African drumming and a jazz ensemble between movements of Beethoven’s symphony.
This is idiotic in more ways

One would think that a former president of the United States would be a staunch defender of the First Amendment. When it comes to Barack Obama, however, you’d think wrong. Obama spoke Wednesday at an event sponsored by The Atlantic and the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy.” In the course of a long and rambling discussion with The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, Obama called for government control over the Internet in order to stem the “demand for crazy” that was spreading what he called “disinformation.”
Comments:
There's nothing operationally American or little-d Democrat about Obama. He's a straightforward totalitarian who hates America and its Constitution.
