Mexican authorities have confirmed that 20 people were killed when a group of gunmen stormed a cockfight, in a small town in the western state of Michoacán. Officials and witnesses described a choreographed massacre in which assailants in military uniforms arrived just after 10.30pm on Sunday night and opened fire with assault rifles at the crowds of primarily middle-aged men. Two small trucks, one of them branded with the logo for Sabritas, a potato chip company, were used to block the highway leading to the cockfighting arena. Video filmed by witnesses nearby captured the sound of machine gun fire, which could be heard several miles away.

Deadly roosters. These were actual assault rifles, not the semiautomatic firearms (primarily ARs and AKs) the BATFE likes to call "assault weapons."
FTA: "Mexican police told local media they found 19 bodies – 16 men and three women. Another victim died en route to the hospital. More than 100 shells from 7.62 caliber rifles littered the ground."
AK-47 (in full auto mode): When you've absolutely, positively got to kill every mo--person--in the room. Perfect for the Mexican cartels.
Biden's open borders are bringing this carnage from Mexico and Central America into the USA.

Hmm. Pretty difficult to get worked up at any of the violence in Mexico any more. Just stay far away.
We need to stop letting them into our country and deport all that are here illegally.

Fraud Biden will address this today. Ban cockfighting then it won't happen here. Illegals are welcome but leave your cockfighting habits.

Just another argument in favor of open borders and mass unvetted immigration. We must become more diverse. We must have rooster (c**k is disallowed) fights and perhaps dog fights to have greater cultural diversity. Imagine the imperialist mindset trying to keep all this out. Go brandon!

The full-auto rifles could very well have been placed into the hands of the violent Mexican street gang by Barack Hussein Obama and his AG Eric Holder through their Fast and Furious program, which was designed to undermine the Second Amendment in the USA by creating more "gun crime." Our previous president, while he talked a good game, had no interest in prosecuting that crime, which lead to several deaths of federal agents in Mexico and the US during shootouts.

What happened down there in Las Tinajas, Michoacán will easily be turned into more “push factors” along with Biden’s “pull factors” causing more of those Mexican poor and uneducated victims and perpetrators to unlawfully enter the USA and join the growing massive illegal alien population.

But were any roosters injured during the gunfire? BBQ and chicken tacos for the after-party?

“ more than 100 empty cartridges littered the ground”. Is that all? An AK on full auto will fire about 10 rounds per second! A 30 rnd clip lasts 3 seconds. One of those AR 15 from the Obamas Fast and Furious debacle fires about 13 rnds per second. BTW rooster fighting is not uncommon here in the Appalachian mtns where I live, and has been around long before the mexicans showed up.

Re #5. All the weapons that the corrupt ATF allowed to be shipped to the cartels under The Zero and crooked AG Holder were semi-auto rifles, NOT full auto.
It is possible that they were converted to full auto in Mexico, although, frankly, it is easier for the cartels to just buy the real deal on the international weapons market than to screw around doing unreliable conversions in a garage shop somewhere.

Frankly, I think any form of animal fighting for the pleasure and financial benefit of humans is barbaric. It may sound harsh, but the people at that fight don’t get an iota of sympathy from me.

The jokes write themselves here.
On a serious note, I heard from a friend that the AK-47 can be converted to full-auto with a mail-order part and tool-free to boot.

Remember when Biden opened the borders to the 129 million Mexicans in Mexico to freely and unlawfully enter the USA in violation of the US immigration laws, he effectively allowed all the good and bad individuals and entities of Mexico, including the Mexican drug cartels, to come into the USA. Why is Biden doing that? Because he is effectively creating tens of millions of future socialist Democrat voters!

this is how they settle the question as to which Rooster won the fight? imagine that, it's just as bad, or worse than dog fighting

Re #22.... not so much. A friend built a legal, semi-auto AK from parts kit and I consulted, got to see exactly what is inside an AK, how to make it work properly. Not my favorite gun by any means. Can you take out all the semi-auto guts and replace them with the right guts, and make it work with these parts? They are NOT 'drop in' for sure. If you get things right it may work. IIRC, ATF requires that a gun must "take OVER 8 hours with a fully equipped machine shop to convert" to be able to be legally sold in the USA. US versions of foreign guns are often modified internally to get to this "magic number", make it extra difficult to do this illegal stuff.
Another friend was a legal Class III machine gun dealer, built a number of legal machine guns. He told me "AKs are a PITA to convert, I don't mess with them". These were done back when that was legal, as long as you filed the proper paperwork, which is not the case for decades.
Or, if you are a Mex cartel guy, you can just have the guy delivering your next load of 15 tons of meth from China throw in a case or two of real ChiCom factory made AKs with the proper parts factory installed and tested.
I have no idea what the cartels actually do, but it seems easier for them to just buy "the real deal" with their billions. They already are breaking about six dozen laws every day, I doubt that they care about any more.

Mexico has perhaps the most restrictive "gun control" laws in the world. For now, their bad hombres are smart enough to keep much of this gang action on their side of the imaginary border, but once they reach a certain tipping point here, stories like this will become normal in New America too.
