It’s hard to think of an area of medicine more controversial today than the treatment of gender dysphoria in youth. Proponents and opponents of the new “affirming” paradigm of treatment routinely accuse each other of politicizing medicine, promoting dangerous ideologies, and abusing vulnerable children.
In the United States, civil rights discourse has come to overlay—some would say distort—these debates. In 2016, Attorney General Loretta Lynch likened North Carolina’s “bathroom bill” to the “dark days” of Jim Crow, when states “had signs above restrooms, water fountains and on public accommodations keeping people out based upon a distinction without a difference.”
A handful of federal circuit and district courts have ruled that schools must

Summary of very long article: so called medical professionals lie to courts about the science to push their insanity on defenseless children.

God created two sexes.

How many dead children would there be if so-called 'scientists' and 'medical professionals' treated anorexia the same way they are treating this mental illness? They would have argued 'let the child starve herself to death because that's what her brain is telling her to do and it would be discrimination to force her to eat.' Of course, they would have wrapped their arguments in fancy scientific polysyllabic words to make us think they know what they're talking about.

Children can not legally consent to have sex because they lack the prerequisite maturity to make that decision free of coercion and consider the long-term detriments. But children can legally consent to surgical castration, surgical severing of their penis, and hormonal alterations to their developing bodies - all on the basis of sex. The legal concern with "defect of reason, from a disease of the mind" is important enough to let you get away with murder but not important enough to get in the way of a child consenting to this barbaric butchering of their bodies to satisfy their troubled minds. This is evil.

Gender dysphoria ?
How about the boy kids go play ball and come home when the sun sets. and if you get a bruise shake it off.
How about the girls go do girl stuff that I don't get 'cause I'm a boy.
How about i never hear the word "dysphoria" until I'm in medical school and then it's a freak thing

Interesting numbers in this article, good read if you know anyone jumping on the transgender bandwagon (I have two in my extended family). Social media are playing a huge role in this madness.
It almost doesn’t matter what schools do. Kids are being groomed electronically. What does matter is parenting. Absentee or cowardly parents take the easy way out and allowing the fashionable social-political movement define their kids’ development.
No one wants to be rejected by their own child by being a “bigot”. I grieve for any parent being caught up in this dilemma, but I hope parents have the guts to love their children well and to be the adult in the room.

Long article to say...what? That legal arguments abuse "science" to make their cases? Of course, they do. What's the news there? Law in practice is advocacy.
FTA: “If nature really offers us more than two sexes, then it follows that our current notions of masculinity and femininity are cultural conceits."
And this is the real wrangle people hate to deal with. On the one hand, women are EQUAL to men, with various special programs to guide them and provide paths to break those unfair and arbitrary "glass ceilings", like becoming first responders, fighter pilots, or President of the US. They are given advantages in mentorship and preference with "affirmative action". And few here think that's unfair, despite their sons paying the penalty for all this. And they recognize the growing futility - check out college admissions and graduation figures for white males. Women advocates will call these advantages a "level playing field" that provides equity and EQUALITY wth their male competitors.
Women need all these breaks because the cultural model is that they are not as strong, i.e. weaker in many ways that are ultimately "immaterial" but which need shoring up by program after program in schools and business alike. Whole occupations are essentially reserved for women, from education to verterinary medicine. Check out those professional school admissions, and how decisions are made. It's "wrong" to make such decisions on the
basis of race, but gender...well, that's different, and acceptable.
In sports women like Meagan Rapinoe have been screaming EQUALITY. The US Women's Soccer Team was soundly whipped by a boy's high school team. They don't want EQUALITY, they want theirs fenced off.
And to think there are many who cannot understand the changing world and want to preserve those "cultural conceits" for athletics, but are fine with lowering physical standards for first responders so the ladies can make the force. Why is that?

I have seen two examples of genuine gender dysphoria. Years ago my family lived in Westchester and we knew two families with children rejected by their same gender classmates. Both were little girls-one was a tomboy and one had issues related to a birth defect, a deviated spine. Each were rejected by the other girls in their classes-the tomboy for not being a girly-girl and preferring short boyish haircuts, playing with the boys, and wearing male costumes (she was Batman) at Halloween; and the other for being smaller, frailer, not as pretty. When I lived there my youngest son went to school with both and he was liked immensely by both of them. He'd come home from 1st & 2nd grade with notes from them tucked in his backpack. They were-then-attracted to the opposite sex. But because they were different than the other girls they felt peer-pressured and adopted more male mannerisms. I have long since moved from Westchester but I see the families thru Facebook. The girl with the spine issue now prefers to be called a male name. The tomboy has grown up to be a beautiful young lady and has fully embraced her womanhood. One girl went down one road, and the other took a roundabout back to being female. Today's efforts by trans-activists to indoctrinate little children into thinking they can be something other than they are comes into better focus as I remember these two girls. Little children are vulnerable, unsure of themselves, impressionable, and easily manipulated. What happened to the two girls I knew happened as a result of their environment, not as the result of an institutionalized psychological tactic. Back then, cases like theirs weren't prominently ballyhooed in the press like they are today. What's happening today is a concerted effort by the Left to totally destroy us by eliminating our identities. The Left would prefer were were all mindless obedient drones who had no individuality. The Florida bill prohibiting mention of sexuality in schools from pre-K to 3rd grade that is so hated by the Left is exactly what we need in place to curb these MONSTERS who want to ruin everything by ruining our children and future generations.

Cultures are built on roles. Nations are built on cultures. If you want to destroy a nation, then tear apart its culture. If you want to tear apart its culture, then tear apart its roles.
Once people lose their understanding of the roles and relationships of those around them and the very definitions of those relationships, they become lonely, isolated and lost. In many cases they become angry and look for a solid cause to provide some stability. The roles of male and female are foundational to our culture. God, marriage, motherhood and fatherhood are the pillars that built American society. Marriage has been torn apart in recent decades and children have been robbed of family stability. The paths that guide us through life have been barred and 'science' has provided detours into the void.
