World War Two hero Audie Murphy, former Secretary of State Colin Powell and ex-President Dwight Eisenhower are set to have their names used on US military bases whose titles honor Confederate figures. Murphy, a former US Army soldier, became the most-decorated serviceman of World War Two. Powell was the first black person to serve as Secretary of State, between 2001 and 2005, and died last year. Eisenhower was a hero World War Two commander who later served as president between 1953 and 1961.

RINO Ben Crenshaw labeled Americans who don’t want to send their children to war with Russia in Ukraine, Putin apologists. When he did this on FOX News he was called out.
Ben Crenshaw was on FOX and Friends on Thursday. He told the audience how disturbing it was to him that anyone would oppose not going to war against Russia. When Rachel Campos-Duffy said most Americans question US involvement in such a war he lost it.

University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas made history Thursday as the first openly transgender person to win a Division I national championship.
Thomas, a senior on the women's swim team, finished the 500-yard freestyle at the front of the pack in 4 minutes, 33.24 seconds at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta. "It means the world to be here," Thomas said in an interview after the win. Thomas competed against University of Virginia freshman Emma Weyant, University of Texas freshman Erica Sullivan, and Stanford University senior Brooke Forde. Thomas ended up finishing 1.75 seconds ahead of second-place Weyant.

Give up your car and start walking. That’s an order. The International Energy Agency (IEA) on Friday directed global governments to urgently cut oil supply to domestic consumers and encourage compliance with its call for lowered consumption.
The IEA 10-point plan to drive “changes in the behaviour of consumers” and reduce gas demand at the pump includes reducing speed limits, working from home three days a week, more electric cars, car-free Sundays, more cycle lanes, cheaper public transport and greater use of long-distance trains over planes.
The IEA also called on the OPEC+ group of oil-producing nations led by Saudi Arabia

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in a new interview that he is considering stepping away from the position he’d held since 1984.
Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), was asked during a podcast released March 18 whether he was mulling retirement or transitioning to a less-demanding job.
“I certainly am because I’ve got to do it sometime,” Fauci, 81, said.
“I can’t stay at this job forever, unless my staff is going to find me slumped over my desk one day. I’d rather not do that,” he added.
Fauci was appointed to his position in 1984 during the Reagan administration.

The Department of Homeland Security is considering calling on volunteers for reinforcement at the southern border, fearing an onslaught of migrants that would far outweigh its resources. The U.S. could be just hours away from another wave of mass migration if the Biden administration lifts Title 42, a provision border agents have relied on to quell the border crisis during the pandemic.DHS Deputy Secretary John Tien asked employees 'to consider stepping forward to support the DHS Volunteer Force,' according to an email, more than a year after the volunteer force was activated for last year's migrant surge.

Maserati is planning to create an electric version of all of its super sports car models by 2025, and ax all gasoline engines by 2030-despite the sports' cars famous engine roar being one of the key reasons motoring enthusiasts buy them. The Italian sports car firm, which has fallen behind rivals Ferrari and Lamborghini in recent years, says it will offer an electric version of all its cars by 2025-and plans to scrap gasoline engines entirely by 2030. 'That's the landing spot,' Maserati CEO Davide Grasso said of the eight-year project. 'It will affect different parts of the world with a different type of speed, depending

The Biden administration knows it has a looming “mass migration event” in the very near future when it ends the use of Title 42 at the southern border. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) quietly set up the Southwest Border Coordination Center (SBCC) to coordinate its response. Think of it as a war room to game out the coming flood of illegal migrants to the southern border.
I say that SBCC was quietly created because before the reporting today by Axios, the war room wasn’t reported on in the media. The reason for the nervous preparation for a mass event is because with the pandemic essentially ending,

Until sanity is restored in our country, records will show that Lia Thomas was the winner of the 2022 women’s NCAA 500-yard freestyle event. However, we all know the story behind Thomas by now. Lia is not a woman, but a man identifying as a woman. Anyone interested in the sanctity of competition, biological integrity, and saving women’s sports, should celebrate Emma Weyant, the actual woman who won the 2022 women's NCAA 500-yard freestyle event on Thursday night.
The records will show that Weyant finished in second place behind Thomas. But Weyant is the actual she who should be recognized as champion. Thomas’s victory represents everything that detractors feared

A same-sex kiss has been restored to the final cut of Pixar’s upcoming animated film Lightyear after LGBTQIA2S+ employees and their allies complained that Disney executives had censored “overtly gay affection” in the company’s films, according to a report by Variety. A source close to the production told Variety that Lightyear features a female lead who is in a relationship with another woman, and a kiss between the two characters had been cut from the film. The gay kiss was added back into the movie last week, following the outrage from a woke mob at Pixar Animation Studios.(Snip)Earlier this month, DeSantis debunked leftist falsehoods on the bill,

Irving, Texas—Democratic candidate for governor Beto O’Rourke is looking for ways to close a persistent gap in the polls with Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, backing off his far-left stance on border security, gun ownership and other hot-button issues.
The O’Rourke pivot is a glaring bid to turn out the party’s more moderate base and win over independent voters in the conservative state.(Snip)Polling shows Mr. O’Rourke consistently lagging behind Mr. Abbott, though only by single digits, leading some analysts to predict a close race. Since announcing his candidacy in November, Mr. O’Rourke has shifted his position on key issues, including gun rights, border security and school curricula.
