There’s a dawning realization among Democrats that the constant infighting between progressives and moderates isn’t doing them any favors with voters. In an effort to forge some kind of unity, Dems spent the end of the week at a retreat in Philadelphia trying to come up with an approach that both sides could agree on.
Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, chair of the DCCC, said the key was for Democrats to talk like real people and not “sound like a jerk.” That was a not-so-veiled request for progressives to stow their far left agenda between now and November.

CNN continues to undergo massive changes coinciding with AT&T’s corporate handoff to new owner Discovery and the ouster of former company president Jeff Zucker. Zucker left, Chris Cuomo left, and sundry employees did the same as disgusting allegations of pedophilia came to light.
Ratings have been in a freefall ever since Brandon was inaugurated and over-the-top, fake news about Donald Trump couldn’t be manufactured for its unthinking viewership anymore. Covid panic porn has likewise lost its luster. So, in a battle for survival, the “news” network’s owners are realizing that simply making up hysteria after hysteria might not be a viable long-term plan.

Disgraced grandma-killer, alleged sexual harasser, and former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo cropped up on Sunday to blame “cancel culture” for his sins catching up to him, demanding a chance to “tell my truth.”
Cuomo started the speech with a self-pitying remark that “I’ve gone through a difficult period,” complaining that “the press roasted me” and “my colleagues were ridiculed, my brother was fired.” Later in the address, he blamed “the political sharks in Albany” who “smelled blood and exploited the situation for their own political purpose.”
He had the audacity to construe himself as the victim, whining “Twitter and newspaper headlines have replaced a judge and a jury.”

Special Counsel John Durham demolished a key Russia hoax figure’s attempt to get criminal charges against him dropped.
Approximately two weeks ago, Michael Sussmann’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss the criminal charge the special counsel’s office brought against the former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney. On Friday, the special counsel filed a response that demolished Sussmann’s legal arguments, highlighted several significant facts related to the pending charge, and revealed the ridiculousness of the defense’s attempt to hide behind the First Amendment.
Here are five key takeaways from Durham’s response.

n this installment of their weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative discuss six of the many false stories coming out of the besieged nation of Ukraine. Some is false by accident, some is false intentionally, some is war-time propaganda, and all of it is nearly impossible to use to ascertain the truth about this conflict. One thing seems certain enough: If everyone, Democrats especially, is united for Ukraine, shouldn’t that give us pause?
#6: Thirteen brave soldiers told Russian sailors “go f*** yourself” before being bombed to kingdom come.
Parker: This story had all the trappings of war-time propaganda. Surrounded and outnumbered good guys.

No longer able to control the media narrative about Rodney Joffe’s role in peddling the Alfa Bank hoax to the FBI and CIA, his attorneys now seek to silence Special Counsel John Durham. That revelation came from a brief docket entry in a federal district court earlier this week documenting a sealed motion to intervene that Joffe’s lawyers had filed in the criminal case against Michael Sussman, in which they asked for references to “Tech Executive-1” to be expunged from the court filings.

Read Across America Day, also known as Dr. Seuss Day, is March 2. It celebrates both the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel and the importance of reading.
Dr. Seuss can not whine,
Though he was canceled this day,
By President Biden,
And the cold NEA.
Seuss sat there for decades,
His birthday they used,
To encourage kids’ reading,
To instruct and amuse.
Too racist is Seuss,
And too old, dead, and pale,
Too old for the times,
Too cruel and too male.

Since Friday, several developments have exposed more of the behind-the-scenes details of the special counsel investigation into Spygate, including the public release of the deposition of Tech Executive-1, Rodney Joffe. Joffe’s deposition, coupled with other details previously known, reveals several significant facts while highlighting the many questions that remain unanswered.
Here’s what we learned and what investigative trails require further probing.
1. Rodney Joffe Pled the Fifth Twice
Earlier this month, the Russian-connected Alfa Bank filed a motion in a Florida state court seeking an extension of time to serve the numerous “John Doe” defendants it had sued there in June 2020.

More than half a dozen Republican senators penned a letter last week demanding the Department of Justice (DOJ) reject a request to stamp those who protest airplane mask mandates as “terrorists.”
Earlier this month, Delta Air Lines’ CEO Ed Bastian asked the DOJ to add travelers convicted of “unruly” conduct to a new “no-fly” list barring access to commercial air transport. Such conduct warranting the same expulsion granted to suspected terrorists include those who’ve resisted compliance with mask requirements, which made up nearly three-quarters of airplane disputes last year, according to data from the Federal Aviation Administration published by CNBC.

We have war in Eastern Europe, financial markets around the world are plummeting, and innocent civilians in the sovereign nation of Ukraine are being slaughtered by a bloodthirsty dictator, Vladimir Putin, who is clearly doing as he pleases without any fear of repercussions. This is the type of situation where people from around the planet look to the president of the United States – aka, the Leader of the Free World – for strength, competence, and leadership. So, let’s consider: Is that what we’re seeing?
On the heels of President Joe Biden’s disastrous orchestration of last summer’s Afghanistan withdrawal, we now have the Russian invasion of Ukraine,

revelation buried in a cache of documents opens a new and potentially important investigative corridor for Special Counsel John Durham. The shady tech executive who featured prominently in the federal indictment of Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann was also communicating with a covert group of computer scientists skilled in mining internet data. This revelation raises concerns that the man referred to in special counsel documents as Tech Executive-1, Rodney Joffe, may have shared sensitive government and private internet data more broadly than previously thought.
Joffe’s role in Spygate represents one of the most recent developments exposed by the Special Counsel’s office.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC), US Representative (14th district of New York) holds that capitalism, the economic system in our United States that people from all over the world risk life and limb to enter any way they can, is “irredeemable.”
Her contempt for capitalism is matched only by her love of socialism: “The emphasis in socialism is on democracy. … It’s just as much a transformation about bringing democracy to the workplace so that … we don’t check all of our rights at the [workplace] door because … as workers and people in society, we’re the ones creating wealth.”
