Irvine, Calif.—After fleeing her home in now-Taliban controlled Afghanistan, Mozhgan Entazari did everything she could to find a new one for her family in the sunny, palm tree-lined communities of Southern California. The 34-year-old mother of two scoured options on Zillow with her husband, while the family lived at a hotel in Irvine, south of Los Angeles.(Snip)Etazari needed a place not just for her immediate family but for seven members of her extended family. In the end, it took four months. On Sunday, they will move into a five-bedroom house in Corona, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southeast of LA, which is renting

is this story supposed to make me feel good or not-good about this woman and her family and the "seven members of her extended family." ? - I'm confused.

At what point do we run out of money? I think we have already, we're borrowing from China, but at some point all the cash and good will is gone. Who will support us when we've given all our assets away? No one. We will be on our own.

I see my state is a top place getting these Afghan families. I read where they basically want to be in areas with most of the cultural things of back home. Therefore, we can expect new sprawling areas that look more like Kabul than America. This is wrong. They should all be resettled in the Middle East.

Do you know who else can't find affordable housing right now? A bunch of American citizens, including veterans who fought in Afghanistan.
Guess who is not getting massive government handouts to pay for their housing? A bunch of American citizens, including veterans who fought in Afghanistan.

From the article - "“I have a family of 13,” she said."
The U.S. taxpayer will foot the bill for housing, food, medicine, schools, utilities, etc. Joe "Dementia" Biden will lead the charge. Don't worry about gas prices, you might be on your way to get an electric car. Heck, why work when the "freebies" exceed a wage?

"Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers."

A five bedroom house south of Los Angeles?
What did she do? Loot the Afghan gold depository before fleeing the country? What in the actual F?
One would think a shotgun shack somewhere in the Ozarks would be more a refugee's price range. If even that.

Yet another reason they should have been relocated to Pakistan or some other regional hellhole. Under statute law, Uncle Sam is responsible to potical refugees for their housing, education, and medical care. Enjoy life as you know it, everyone - it isn't going to last much longer.

Most real Americans can not find affordable housing in Southern California, even with the huge mass exodus from Lalaland that has been going on for a couple of years. These people have a little more potential than the average drug-running, human-trafficking criminal that crossed the Rio Grande but not much. Who was the idiot that promised them a new home in America? Obviously it was somebody who knew that we had no chance of winning the war and changing Afghanistan.

And when they get their free or subsidied housing even more Americans will resent them.

LA? NOVA? Taxachusetts?
Don't care. They can find lower costs of living than those high rent districts. Maybe they could immigrate to Mexico or Canada.

Lutheran Immigration Refugee Services- here’s one of those “compassionate” Christian organizations used by the left to import incompatible cultures into this country. Them, Catholic Charities, and a Jewish variant, are doing the work of Soros and America’s adversaries.

Sunny Southern California is not in the price range of this refugee. Irvine is pricey. Corona should be not so much but there are other places that should be less than that. They are just not in Southern California.
I never cease to be amazed when the starving want filet mignon.
