Shocking video has emerged that shows a Las Vegas student viciously pounding another girl on the head dozens of times–as other classmates stand by and laugh. The unnamed girl was seen pummeling the student, who lifts her hands to protect herself from the barrage for the first eight seconds of the clip filmed in a Las Vegas High School classroom. A person believed to be the teacher is heard yelling at the attacker, “Stop! Stop! Stop! Get off of her!”
But the brutal beatdown continues–and other students are heard laughing. In the remaining 10 seconds or so of the graphic footage, the victim stops defending herself and rests

Get your kids OUT of government schools no matter what it takes.

Last sentence of the article: "The district also encouraged “students and members of the community not to share footage of this incident or any other student fights.”
Parents would be interested in what goes on in their kid's school, no?

This was a vicious, violent attack. The perp threw forceful punches that connected. This piece of trash deserves felony assault and battery charges in adult court.

This girl is over the top dangerous and needs to be removed from the school. She needs to be institutionalized.

Ooop...guess those social media putdowns don't seem so tough when done in person.
The question becomes was the girl doing the punching the Bully? Or was this the response to bullying that became finally unbearable from the girl getting pummeled?.

What’s equally chilling is nobody helped this girl. Got the video though!

Yes #2 - - they don't want to report criminal activity by students - - just as they didn't with St. Trayvon. The beloved saint's crimes were never reported - - and now that holy one be dead. Maybe if they had reported his crimes - - the saint would still be walking among us.

I didn't hear the teacher "yelling at the attacker". I heard a weak, intimidated voice ineffectually asking, almost pleading, for the bully to stop. The teacher should be fired, but the union will probably prevent that. Those on the left often preach "non violence" and pacifism in the face of violent crime. This is actually an object lesson in what happens when you try to appease and "reason with" violent bullys (like, say, the mullahs of Iran).

I'd be interested to know if Poster 5 actually watched the video. The attack was premeditated based on the number of kids ready, willing and able to record it. That one would make an assumption based on zero facts and, in essence, say the victim deserved it is reprehensible.

How sad that we have come to the place where people stand around and watch and make videos rather than help someone needing help. Reminds me of Kitty Genovese from all those years ago in New York City and if you're not old, you wouldn't remember. I have a cartoon showing someone out in the water drowning, yelling for help and all those on shore are making movies of the one drowning. Our society has fallen ill.

What really needs to happen is every public school district across the country should place high quality video cameras connected to the Internet in every classroom, so that parents and other interested parties including the police could view exactly what is taking place in the classrooms that taxpayer’s support. Who would object to that?

Tell us, Poster 13, how about one level escalation in violence — say, a forceful pounding with a blunt instrument? Can that level of beatdown be “deserved?”

#15, Seriously, you can't think of a good reason why a person deserves a beatdown? You can wake me up in the middle of the night and I can provide several good reasons. Think about it.

If ms big boobs was slighted by the girl she creeped on then she should have fought her one on one. Attacking someone from behind is the height of cowardice. Meet me in the schoolyard is most likely still a thing.

indeed, the feral types may secretly hope for a return to public executions, so that they might become super stars.

So what happened, she "disrespected" her?
Or maybe she misinterpreted an eye-roll or some gesture and that warrants severe corporal punishment? In what civilized society?

Excuse the TOS violation. Seriously, Poster 16. I cannot think of a good reason for thirty-four punches (according to my count) landed against a victim who did not resist.

Need to know the whole story.
Think Christmas Story and Ralphie finally pounding the hell out of the bully.
Most of the time these are not deserved, just a bully, but every once in a while, the bullied person just has had ENOUGH and solves it.
No way to know the whole story. And often the teachers and principals are the least aware of what is really happening.

Maybe the girl wouldn't wear her mask? Maybe she refuses to get vaccinated. In the lefty's world those would be reasonable responses. We are talking about our system of education camps. High school is no longer a place to learn, no, high school and all other grades are there to teach conformity. Looks like the girl doling out the punches is ready to move on to her local chapter of Antifa.

The puncher looks like she could make some money in sin city with those knockers of hers. Perhaps this is a "territorial thing", if she is a HO, but still disgusting. Give the puncher a good licking behind the gym and invite Brandon to watch.

Even the generally brutal MMA bouts have an ironclad rule: when a fighter becomes defenseless, regardless of what has happened earlier in a fight, offensive action must immediately cease, even if a fight official has to whack the offender with an axe handle. Codes of conduct even exist among modern day barbarians.

That "teacher" is a complete wimp. She's no authority figure, and that's why the bully on top refuses to listen to her. That teacher should be moved to supervising the library. Any worthy teacher would have grabbed the bully by the hair or from behind in a chokehold and dragged her to the floor.

Poster 19 identifies a big part of the problem - we are rapidly losing our "civilized society". In large areas of major cities, it is not civilized at all.
Mankind has spent centuries developing guidelines to allow self-centered humans to get along in groups. The present political class is engaged in tearing away all of those rules, the guardrails that kept us from careening off of a social cliff.

The aggressor and the witnesses in the classroom are all soon to be victims of a school shooting by this girl who took the pounding. Doesn't matter who was the victim or the bully. This incident could inspire hatred and vengeance if there's no resolution and healing.
