MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow is taking a “hiatus” from the network, according to a Monday report from Business Insider.
Maddow is expected to announce her hiatus to viewers of “The Rachel Maddow Show” tonight, according to Business Insider. The host will reportedly step away from her show to instead focus on movie and podcast productions.
Maddow’s hiatus is expected to start Feb. 7, Business Insider reported. The break is expected to be temporary and Maddow will still appear for coverage of special events, according to the outlet.

Poor Rachael, all used up.
Like a draft horse who plowed the Russia, Russia, Russia field 'till her bones just gave out.
Bones. And ratings.

The is almost as exciting as the time she released Donald Trump’s tax returns or had proof he was a Russian spy..

I assume they think someone somewhere cares otherwise this article would not have been written. No one will notice and no one will really care. She is a multimillionaire and I know she has kicked around the idea of leaving. This might be her out and I wouldn't doubt if she just doesn't come back. Like the dems msnbc and the other cable networks are rounding the toilet bowl of ratings. Frankly she gave me the creeps.

What will we do, how can we cope without her insight and wit, not to mention beauty, to guide us? Guess we will have to muddle on somehow.

Weird because February is a big sweeps month (ratings). Maybe, being so ignorant of history, she got a tip to investigate and expose Al Capone’s vault.

Maddow's act is pure shtick, tiresome and embarrassing.
Know that it was Keith Olbermann who pushed MSNBC to give her a shot, 'nuff said.

Ploy to keep her ratings from tanking during Olympics. You know when more people watch Curling than listen to her curdling comments. I hear she is also applying for spokesman of Stanley Steamer.

How many subs will she have to buy to boost her podcast earnings? No one will watch her stupid movies either. The real world is about to slap her in the face, and it will be well deserved.

MSNBC still has Joe and Mickey in the morning just re-run that in Maddow's time slot in the evening no one watches any way.

I think she/he/it is MSNBC's highest rated program. Of course, you could broadcast a test pattern and get MSNBC ratings as well. Midnight Sermonette out draws Madcow on a regular basis.
Somewhere, I heard a stat ... the 3 or 4 am FNC morning show out draws much of CNN and MSNBC's PRIME TIME programming.

The only time Madcow was worth watching was when her smug smirk disappeared after Trump won.
