It has been two years since the world first noticed people were getting sick and dying from a novel coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China. As the seriousness of the disease became more apparent, policymakers around the world struggled with how to respond.Eventually, many leaders settled on policies of draconian lockdowns and restrictions in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. As these restrictions dragged on for months and years, some leaders trimmed their sails; some changed course completely. But most policy makers failed to keep in mind the fundamental axiom of governing, most pithily stated by Thomas Sowell: there are no solutions, there are only trade-offs.

Sarah Palin was spotted dining at a swanky New York City restaurant just two days after she was confirmed to have COVID-19, and her defamation trial had to be delayed as a result. The former Alaska governor tested positive three times on Monday, but on Wednesday evening was seen sitting outside Elio's - the same restaurant she dined at on Saturday. Her initial visit on Saturday sparked anger because she is unvaccinated and dined indoors - which breaches New York COVID rules. A bystander told DailyMail.com he spotted Palin seated in the outside dining area of Elio's at around 10pm with a group of five or six people.

The White House was handed a much-needed ‘bombshell’ on Wednesday to blow up the narrative that Biden’s presidency is already a failed one.Amid brewing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, soaring inflation, a border crisis, and endless Covid crisis-mongering, Biden desperately needed a distraction. Then Supreme Court Justice Breyer signaled he would soon retire. The New York Times reported the news, which does not make it a lock; but when it comes to progressive affairs, one can bet the grey lady has it right that the announcement is all-but-a-done-deal.While Biden is certain to pick a fire-breathing leftist for the forthcoming vacancy,

“Well, at least it can’t get any worse than this,” Joe Biden is thinking as he scans this Monmouth poll. Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, Vladimir Putin picks up the phone and gives the “go” order to his generals outside Ukraine… Coupla real gut punches for Democrats in this new data from Monmouth. Biden has reached the lowest job approval of his presidency in their polling to date, crossing the political Mendoza line by falling from 40 percent last month to 39 now. Republicans also lead 51/43 on the generic ballot, an all but unheard of advantage for the GOP at this stage

Keep an eye on this story folks; there’s something else here. The FDA decision to block COVID-19 treatment options is very sketchy, and I sense that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis knows the science will not support the Biden administration. This story -when exposed- has the potential to bring down the Biden administration, big time… DeSantis senses it. Earlier today, Florida (snip) FDA decision to revoke monoclonal antibody treatments as a therapeutic option. The FDA action was not only done without communication, but the decision was also made without study and without any input from the treatment side of the COVID-19 dynamic.

The Biden administration decided to send all Americans free COVID-19 tests to address the omicron surge. So far, the ordered tests are getting delivered unless you live in an apartment. As our editor Paula Boylard noted, those living in colder parts of the country may also have their tests left out in the cold. The COVID tests are not supposed to be stored in temperatures under 36° F. Fox’s Bill Hemmer received the four tests he ordered and noted another odd feature. According to Fox News: Hemmer, co-host of “America’s Newsroom,” praised the federal government and the United States Postal Service (USPS)
