Republicans push for greater access to
COVID therapeutics

Republicans are pushing for greater access to monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19 after the federal government took over the distribution of such drugs last year. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, filed Senate Bill 3440 to prohibit the federal government from limiting state access to monoclonal antibody treatments. “One of the things we've learned during this pandemic is that monoclonal antibodies can have a very effective therapeutic effect in combatting COVID-19 infections," Cruz said in a statement. "The Biden administration responded to these encouraging results by rationing and limiting the ability of people to access monoclonal antibodies and stopping states like my home state of Texas from ordering the treatments directly.

Comments:

The states and medical facilities used to be able to order monoclonal antibodies directly from the distributor -- that is, the usual way to distribute goods in a free economy. But Biden wants to be able to withhold the treatment from states whose governors he doesn't like, or to favor certain racial groups, or any other criteria that show who is boss of our lives.

Limiting assess to these treatments or denying them all together. is out right MURDER! Biden and the democrats have the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans and others on their hands. They have know about the success of these drugs and withheld access and treatment. Doctors are being suspended or terminated for using ivermectin and hydroxclorquine. We have the highest deaths rates per capita in the world? WHY? Because the Biden regime won't allow us to be treated. Why haven't the republicans taken to the floor and screamed from the top of their lungs? Anyone not speaking up for these treatments should be primaried and kicked out of office.

Federal APPROVAL of a drug (as in FDA) is a legit exercise of establishing uniform safety and effectiveness standards in manufacturing and testing of drugs. That should have nothing to do with distribution - yet another role unconstitutionally usurped by the feds. Day by day we are allowing our republic to become increasingly a joke and central government tyranny to flourish. This shouldn't even NEED the Cruz bill which BTW hasn't a prayer of passage.

Monoclonal antibodies are full of fetal tissue from the line that involved almost 700 babies who were born alive with their organ tissue removed. Anyone who calls themselves a Christian will not fall for this “treatment.” Free people make their own decisions. HCQ and Ivermectin work. What is it the Dems understand? There’s no possibility to enrich themselves thru their buddies in Big Pharma!

I have a friend who is super prog. She is all in on Diversity and all but worships it. She also has 4 pre-existing conditions. She got covid back when it was first emerging despite taking every precaution - almost sealing herself in her house. It was bad. She was VERY ill and spiking a 103 degree fever. Her doctor ordered the monoclonal antibodies and after the treatment, she improved dramatically. My brother also got the covid and because he has an auto-immune disease, his doctor said he should get the treatment just in case. He did and he is fine. If they had gotten covid now, I very much doubt they would have been able to get monoclonal antibodies. They are white and middle class. If they had died, well that's too bad.

A year too late, Ted. If this were to pass, and it can't get through the House, it would be too late. I lost one friend dead to the virus after he was denied monoclonal antibodies treatment. His wife, sick at the same time, was given the treatment and was fine in a couple of days. He steadily deteriorated without treatment until in the ICU on ventilator and then died. TOO LATE.

Thank you #6. Remember it is not just Dems who refuse to even say the word ivermectin or HCQ. Republicans - with exception of Senator and physician Rand Paul were and are still too chicken to go there despite the overwhelming success of these drugs!

Republicans are demanding answers from the Food and Drug Administration following a damning report that the vast majority of noninvasive prenatal tests are inaccurate. In a letter first obtained by The Daily Signal propelled by Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, Rep. Michelle Fischbach of Minnesota, and Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, the group of Republican lawmakers are calling on acting Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Janet Woodcock to address the January New York Times report on prenatal testing. “When I first read the troubling New York Times story on noninvasive prenatal testing, I thought of my godson, who was recommended for abortion following a prenatal screening,”

The Biden White House has withdrawn U.S. support from a pipeline project designed to deliver Israeli natural gas to Europe, reversing a decision taken by President Donald Trump’s administration. The 1,180-mile undersea pipeline project from Israel to southern Europe, set to be completed by 2025, will ease Europe’s dependence on Russia and Turkey. These two countries have a stranglehold on the continent’s energy supply. “The United States is no longer supporting the construction of EastMed gas pipeline project as Washington’s interest is now switching to renewable energy sources, according to a State Department statement,” the Euractiv, a Brussels based news website, reported recently.

But she couldn’t ignore what she saw and decided to publish the results of her analysis. The next thing she knew, she was in a “bizzarro world,” she told The Epoch Times. She picked the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a database of reports of health problems that have occurred after a vaccination and may or may not have been caused by it. What she found, however, was disturbing to her.

Things keep changing. A few months ago I thought Trump would not run. Then I thought he would run. Now, I don’t think so once again. Alongside all the hype and chatter about the January 6 anniversary, there was another worthy news story the first week of 2022. Holmes, six years removed from being the richest self-made woman in the world, now faces as many as twenty years in prison, though she will likely receive less. While it’s always good to see criminals receive their just desserts, there is another upbeat aspect to the Holmes saga. Is it possible to reconcile America’s past of slavery with the Founding Fathers’ vision of liberty and equality? Why aren’t liberals fun anymore? That was the question asked in a 2018 op-ed in The Hill by Stephen Moore. Moore observed that liberals, who were once the fun ones in American culture, have become punitive, tight-assed, dour. “What a difference a generation makes,” Moore wrote. “It used to be conservatives who were the stuffy ones. Liberals were the fun ones to be around. Now the ones who are so uptight are the liberals like actor Jeff Bridges, who once was funny but now is so embarrassed by modern day America that he seems to want to be anywhere on this planet, except here.”
