Recall that some little time ago, way back in December, I referenced Dem ueber strategist Ruy Teixeira’s concerns about The Democrats’ Hispanic Voter Problem (It's Not As Bad As You Think—It’s Worse). Today at American Thinker is an article that notes that Teixeira has added another demographic to his worry list: Asians. Please don’t ask me to define that—it’s Teixeira’s chosen term, and I certainly can’t compete with Teixeira when it comes to politically demographic designations. Even if I wanted to. Teixeira, of course, is the co-author of the 2002 political forecasting sensation, The Emerging Democratic Majority. Teixeira foresaw, back then, an inevitable Dem wave of the future

My brother-in-law long hosted a radio show called “Whad’ya know?” The answer to which was always, “Not much.” I feel that way about the Russian attacks on Ukraine. It’s not that I haven’t tried. I’ve read everything I consider reliable on the subject and can’t begin to answer if the Russians are bogged down or simply regrouping. If they or the Ukrainians will win this fight.

California doctors who object to assisted suicide are fighting an amended state law that implicates them in their patients' intentional deaths.
They are suing California officials, including Attorney General Rob Bonta, Department of Public Health Director Tomas Aragon, and Medical Board members to block SB 380, which made it easier for patients to commit suicide under the End of Life Options Act that took effect in 2016.
The original law issued a broad exemption for healthcare providers, granting them a liability shield for "refusing to inform" patients about their right to physician-assisted suicide and "not referring" patients to physicians who will assist in their suicides.
The amended law removed it,

I generally appreciate Tucker Carlson, but every time he discusses Ukraine and Russia, I bristle — especially when he contends that America has no interest in Ukraine. I know some of you might agree with Carlson, but you can be a solid conservative who is just as war-weary as the next guy and still see a security interest in Ukraine without being a neocon.

The survey also found Republicans making gains among minority groups. By 9 percentage points, Hispanic voters in the new poll said they would back a Republican candidate for Congress over a Democrat. The two parties had been tied among Hispanic voters in the Journal’s survey in November.

A suspect believed to be connected to the group of spring breakers who overdosed on cocaine laced with fentanyl was arrested in Florida, police confirmed to WSVN Friday night.
