Democrats claim that democracy is under attack in America and Democrats must act decisively to protect it. They’ve been trying to end the filibuster, nationalize voting, and pack the Supreme Court. The most ominous “fix,” which hinges on the myth of a “January 6 Insurrection,” sees retired generals argue that the military must purge the ranks of Trump supporters and prepare for a military coup to block a future contested election. This is unconstitutional, illegal, and spells the end of American democracy.
Victor Davis Hanson notes that leftists are loudly worrying about democracy’s end while ignoring all they’ve done to end democracy

These three progressive stooges better have running shoes on. The next president needs to purge all Obama's accolades. Trump left 10,000 appointees in place. We need DeSantis . He will do the job.

And to think these traitors were once in charge of important things and had thousands of men who hate them kissing their butts. I guess they forgot they are now nobody.

I was thinking of purging the military of generals.

"First, they demand that the House Select Committee and Justice Department prosecute the “leaders who inspired” the “insurrection.”
What if those people were democrat operatives?

There’s no such thing as “American democracy”. The left loves to throw those words around even though they know full well that we live in a republic.

They're not ignoring what they've done to end democracy; as usual, they are lying and projecting. A military coup is great as long as they're behind it. They put this forth while at the same time calling January 6 an insurrection and having a fake, lying panel to prove it. We're supposed to be too stupid to figure out the truth. Sad thing is so many people are blind to who they are and who they were historically. No more business as usual for our side. We should have destroyed them when we had all those chances. Too freakin' nice.

Horrors -- even the conservative media has bought into it.
America is not a democracy aka mob rule !!!!!!!!!!!! We are a constitutional republic which means we are governed by the law no matter which party is in power. There is a way to amend the Constitution, but it's a long and complicated process -- not as simple as rigging elections.

In the final analysis it matters less what side generals choose than the soldiers carrying guns and driving tanks.

1 and 2 stars are a dime a dozen. In flag ranks the bacon doesn’t start cooking until you have 3 and 4 stars. If you retire with only 1 star it’s almost a sign that you were promoted to flag rank by mistake. Pay these guys no mind- they are just trolling for jobs.

These three are affiliated with VoteVets, a leftist veterans PAC. Vets on the right have fallen behind, but there is a new org, AVV (American Veterans Vote) that helped Youngkin get elected in Virginia, and they're looking to fight and balance these retired military, "progressive", political operatives.

The twisted logic of these three generals is to call the 6 hour demonstration on January 6th an insurrection . They want to use this lie as a justification to purge the military of anybody that does not agree with them so they can declare martial law. In other words, they want to destroy Democracy in order to “preserve” it.
It seems to me that these generals are the true insurrectionists.

The American public has been conditioned to believe that everyone who dons a military uniform is a hero and with that, we now have several in leadership positions who believe that they no longer serve the public or the Constitution but instead they serve their own beliefs and ideology.

#8, they are retired, they are civilians. They have the right to speak no matter how heinous their ideas. But public talk of coups and juntas cross a line and they should lose some privileges they enjoy in retirement and be investigated for the possibility of agitating the military to take treasonous actions. It really is outrageous that people who went into the Capitol building are being jailed for a supposed insurrection and these three are free to spew true traitorous marching order.

Yes, this is the correct interpretation of these three loser's views.
Dangerous men in dangerous times. I don't think we've been anywhere near this divided since 1860. I hope that we don't follow that path again, but it seems that the extreme leftists are just aching to start a war against the American people.

In all fairness to Trump, he needed people left in place to do the work. He quickly realized that running government wasn't like running his business empire. Plus we had the problem of Javanka and their Manhattan liberalism, and Pence with his disloyalty. I doubt Trump would make the same mistakes again. But a Trump and DeSantis team would be great, and would get the nation back on the right track. Then DeSantis could run for the Big Chair after Trump's term was over.

Re: #13 - I agree that five stars among three generals is pretty lightweight but not lightweight enough to fail to try and execute them for advocating the overthrow of the only Constitution they swore to protect.

Looked up Eaton and Taguba. The former was supposed to be in charge of the training of Afghan Army troops. We know how they performed.
Taguba was not a warrior general. He was, however, in charge of writing up the Abu Gahrib POW report.
In any case, he was *directed* to retire.
Didn’t bother with the BG. The first two were enough.
