Only forty-six percent of Americans now think Old Joe Biden is “mentally fit” to be president of the United States, and Jill Biden is not happy. In a portion released Thursday of a CBS Sunday Morning interview that will run this weekend, CBS’s Rita Braver noted that “quite a few Americans have some questions about the president’s current mental fitness.” The winsome Dr. Jill snapped back, “I think that’s ridiculous.” Why, of course it is. It’s all just right-wing calumny, that’s all. He is fighting a stutter! How could anyone possibly look at Joe Biden and think anything but That man is sharp as a tack? Well, let’s look at

I’ve written it before, but with Kamala Harris no longer in the upper chamber, Bernie Sanders took over the “dumbest senator in America” title this year — and he’s hard at work maintaining the crown. The octogenarian continues to misunderstand basic math and lash out with lies.
The Biden agenda — which, sadly, is the Bernie agenda now — is the Vermonter’s last chance to vote for a litany of socialist programs to hurt America.
That’s because 11 months from now, Democrats will have their comeuppance at the ballot box and divided government will be the norm for at least two years; by the time Democrats ever return to power,

Formula 1 could be set for a messy and protracted legal battle after Mercedes vowed on Sunday night to appeal the result of a chaotic season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and have Lewis Hamilton installed as F1 world champion instead of Red Bull’s race winner Max Verstappen.
Verstappen, 24, was formally confirmed as the Netherlands’ first ever champion on Sunday night. But only five hours after the race had ended, and only after Mercedes had had two separate protests thrown out by the stewards.
Mercedes informed the FIA late on Sunday of their intention to appeal

One of Chris Cuomo’s pals got hooked up by the feds for some seriously horrific charges on Friday. John Griffin, who works at CNN, is in a heap of trouble. The Vermont Department of Justice released a statement. Customers attempting to print the popular anti-Biden chant "Let’s Go Brandon" on Titleist golf balls were given an error message and told their orders could not be completed.
"So @Titleist has now banned the phrase ‘Let's Go Brandon!’ on their golf balls," social media strategist Caleb Hull tweeted Thursday, adding that he had been able to print the phrase on golf balls in the past. A report from PJ Media also stated that "Lets Go Brandon" was not allowed on the golf balls. Monkees singer and guitarist Michael Nesmith, a pop visionary who penned many of the group’s most enduring songs before laying the groundwork for country rock with the First National Band in the early Seventies, died Friday from natural causes. He was 78.
“With infinite love we announce that Michael Nesmith has passed away this morning in his home, surrounded by family, peacefully and of natural causes,” his family said in a statement. “We ask that you respect our privacy at this time and we thank you for the love and light that all of you have shown him and us.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar is demanding that Congress censure a colleague over offensive remarks. This is a real demand happening right now, and reporters write about her demands without peppering their prose with incredulous exclamation marks. House progressives, in fact, are reportedly planning to introduce a resolution that would strip Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of committee assignments over her stupid and bigoted joke about Omar.
“I have had a conversation with the speaker, and I’m very confident that she will take decisive action next week,” Omar had the temerity to tell CNN’s Jake Tapper Dec. 5. The same congresswoman, who claimed criticism about her smear that Jews were brainwashing the world

Yorktown, Virginia held its annual Yorktown Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday night, and one 50-foot vessel won the coveted “Best in Show” title with a colorful and artfully designed display of lights, plus people dressed as Santa Claus and Old Joe Biden yelling “Merry Christmas” to the crowd, topped off with a pair of American flags at the bow. A splendid time was had by all, but there was one fly in the festive ointment: the winning entry was also bedecked with a sign reading “FJB Let’s Go Brandon” in white lights. Within hours, the Yorktown Foundation, which sponsors the event, had abjectly apologized and stripped the offending boat

CNN anchor Don Lemon is facing "ethical questions," after it was claimed in court that he had warned Jussie Smollett about the police investigation into his alleged racist and homophobic attack.
Former Empire star Smollett is currently awaiting the jury's verdict, after standing trial amid accusations he orchestrated his own alleged attack by two men in 2019 on the streets of Chicago, during which he stated that a noose was tied around his neck.
During a court testimony earlier this week, Smollett alleged that Lemon had sent him a message informing him that the Chicago Police Department did not believe his account of what had happened on the night in question.

When drug dealers complain about the lack of law enforcement protection, the boomerang has come full circle and hit us in the back of the head.
Gangs of smash-and-grab thieves have targeted cannabis shops in the San Francisco Bay Area while firing 175 shots and stealing about $5 million's worth of products. Alphonso "Tucky" Blunt, owner of a legal cannabis shop, criticized poor police protection and the bureaucratic details of business in Oakland: "I was safer, and had more money, [selling] on the street, illegally." Such is the economic reality of the Bay area.

Some time ago, P.J. O’Rourke was both prescient and witty when he observed:
"Liberals have invented whole college majors -- psychology, sociology and women's studies -- to prove that nothing is anybody's fault."
This week we have more evidence that nothing is anybody’s fault although the reasons for that may include even more than those P.J. named. Narcissistic celebrities, mendacious media and politicians, and blinkered prosecutors and Soros-funded district attorneys like Milwaukee County’s John Chisolm and San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin are also part of the mix. Stupid voters aren’t off the hook in my estimation either.

The second of the two brothers who accuse Jussie Smollett of staging a fake hate crime against himself took the witness stand Thursday, telling jurors that he never was able to put a rope around the actor’s neck during the phony attack.
Olabinjo Osundairo, a former stand-in on Smollett’s show, “Empire,” testified that on the night of the attack he was initially distracted by a nearby car, but sprang into action when he saw his younger brother, Abimbola, wrestling with Smollett on the ground.
He said he pulled one of the strings out of the package of rope they’d purchased at a hardware store and “made it look like a noose.”
