Peggy Noonan doesn’t always get it right (no one does) but when she does, liberal heads explode. Case in point, her column this week for the Wall Street Journal. Noonan hits the nail on the head with her brutally honest assessment of Kamala Harris as vice-president. Leftists are in need of a safe space.
The purpose of the column is to point out that Kamala is rightly being criticized for her unseriousness and incompetence in office. Americans are worried about that because it is a threat to our country. She is a heartbeat away from being the most powerful politician on earth

China is building a 12,000mph hypersonic plane that will be able to take 10 passengers to anywhere in the world within an hour.
The 148ft (45 metre) long plane is nearly a third larger than a Boeing 737 and features delta wings similar to Concorde, but with the tips pointed up. Officials aim to have a fleet of the aircrafts by the end of 2035 and expand the planes to carry 100 passengers by 2045—although their purpose has not yet been made clear.(Snip)They based the plane's design on the Boeing Manta X-47C, which was part of a project abandoned by Nasa in 2000 for being too costly.

The Food and Drug Administration is asking a judge to give it 75 years to produce data concerning the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine, up 20 years from a previous request. The FDA told the court it can work faster than its previously proposed 500-pages-per-month rate, but it also said there are more than 59,000 more pages than mentioned in an earlier filing. That discovery, and a desire to make sure it can work on other Freedom of Information Act requests at the same time, prompted the fresh request to the judge to allow production of roughly 12,000 pages by Jan. 31, 2022, and 500

Actor Jussie Smollett was found guilty of lying to police last week after he claimed he was the victim of a hate crime in 2019 and, of all things, a Subway sandwich was a key piece of evidence in the case against him, the former Chicago police superintendent said, according to reports.
Ex-Superintendent Eddie Johnson told NewsNationNow's "Morning in America" that Smollett left his home around 2 a.m. on the day he claimed to be attacked to buy the sandwich.
"OK, that’s fine," Johnson said, adding that morning was one of the coldest in Chicago that year and hardly anyone was on the street.

Earlier this year, it came out that the US has sent a small number of Marines and Special Operations troopers to the Republic of China (Taiwan), where they are advising and training Taiwanese forces and have been doing so for over a year.China, which has been threatening Taiwan by sending flight after flight of fighter jets and even nuclear-capable bombers toward the island, was predictably upset. Now, however, it’s gone beyond being upset, and Chinese state media is declaring that the PLA will attack those US troops and others when it attacks Taiwan. That threat came from an op-ed in the Global Times, a Chinese regime outlet, which said:

Black Lives Matter says it is standing by hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett — even after a jury found the disgraced actor guilty of five counts of felony disorderly conduct. Black Lives Matter maintains that the justice system is corrupt. “So let’s be clear: we love everybody in our community — we can never believe police, especially the CPD over Jussie Smollett, a Black man who has been courageously present, visible, and vocal in the struggle for Black freedom,” BLM and BLM LA said in a statement to TMZ before the verdict. After Smollett was found guilty, BLM L.A. leader Melina Abdullah told the outlet that the group’s stance has not

Kellogg plans to permanently replace some 1,400 workers who have been striking since October, the company announced this week.
Kellogg and the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers International Union failed to reach a new contract agreement, leading to the planned change.
“We have made every effort to reach a fair agreement, including making six offers to the union throughout negotiations, all which have included wage and benefits increases for every employee. It appears the union created unrealistic expectations for our employees,” Chris Hood, president of Kellogg North America, said in a recent statement.

San Francisco—A recent video of an auto-burglary on a busy San Francisco street shows just how commonplace it is and how residents have become inured to the situation. Tourist hot spots are popular places for car burglars. A recent smash-and-grab on Grant Avenue near Jackson Street in Chinatown took place within feet of bystanders. A driver gets into his car across the street, as the thief peers into the victim’s car. Security video shows a pedestrian walking down the sidewalk and a woman trying to get inside a building, as the burglar looks around. The thief smashes the back window, steals two bags and then

A Wisconsin wedding was found to be the source of a COVID Omicron 'super-spread' now taking Oakland by storm, leaving 38 hospital workers and patients exposed as the variant has now been spotted in half of U.S. states. Debra Furr-Holden, 47, the associate Dean of Public Health Integration at Michigan State University, said she attended the Milwaukee wedding on November 27 after she was assured nearly all 100 guests, many of whom were medical experts, were vaccinated. But the medical professional noted that as the celebration went on, many guests took their masks off and mingled, causing Furr-Holden and more than a dozen others to be infected

A veteran CNN producer who worked “shoulder to shoulder” with now disgraced ex-anchor Chris Cuomo has been indicted on charges of luring young girls to his Vermont ski house for “sexual subservience” training.
John Griffin, of Stamford, CT, allegedly used messaging apps to befriend and persuade moms of young girls, telling them “a woman is a woman regardless of her age,” and that he should be the one to “train” their daughters sexually, according to the indictment from the US Attorney of Vermont.
Griffin, 44, allegedly got at least one mom of two daughters to bring the girl to his Ludlow ski getaway, in June 2020.
