Kevin McCarthy was furious Thursday evening as Democrats trolled him on the House floor during a more than two-hour speech ahead of a vote on Biden's Build Back Better $1.8 trillion social spending package.The House minority leader said he knew Democrats are mad he spoke for so long, but said: 'I've had enough. America's had enough.' After adopting a new version of the package, which was less than half of the original $3.5 trillion proposal, debate began on the legislation where Democrats and Republicans began debating their final case for and against the bill.
While Nancy Pelosi hopes to pass the so-called “Build Back Better” bill tonight in the House, some bad news came down the line from the CBO.
Previous commitments were made by some “moderate” Democrats to vote for the bill only if the budget score came back deficit-neutral. But the preliminary numbers are out, and it looks like the CBO has completely debunked the White House’s “it costs zero dollars” talking point.

We reported yesterday that an FBI whistleblower had leaked some disturbing information to Congress. The information was an email showing that, contrary to Attorney General Merrick Garland’s testimony before Congress that the DOJ/FBI wasn’t treating parents objecting to school board actions as “domestic terrorists,” their Counterterrorism unit was in fact involved in looking into the issue, and putting “threat tags” on all “investigations and assessments of threats specifically directed against school board administrations, board members, teachers, and staff.”
