The other day, I received the following email from Lisa Murkowski, currently Republican senator from Alaska:
“Fellow Conservative,
“Today I announced my campaign for re-election to continue representing the great state of Alaska. (snip) Fellow Conservative? (How many questions marks can I put after that without seeming illiterate?) Murkowski is about as conservative as Nancy Pelosi on one of her middling days. I was going to write AOC, but that would have been unfair—a tad anyway.
In 2013 the National Journal ranked Murkowski the 56th most liberal and 44th most conservative member of the Senate and it has only gotten worse since.

FTA:
According to the Washington Post, the following transpired when Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.)—chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee—appeared on “Meet the Press” Nov. 7:
“Scott reaffirmed his support for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), defying the attacks that Trump has levied against both. Trump has endorsed Murkowski’s primary challenger, Kelly Tshibaka, saying in June that Tshibaka is ‘MAGA all the way.’”
When asked if the NRSC would back Murkowski financially, Scott said “Absolutely.”
When did Scott amass this power?

Lisa "Bridge To Nowhere" Murkowski
November 3, 2021
"To restore a key piece of the 1965 Voting Rights Act, Democrats in the U.S. Senate needed 10 Republicans to vote with them to even bring the bill up for debate. They got just one one on Wednesday: Sen. Lisa Murkowski."
Murkowski is very close to being as toxic as Liz Cheney.

#1 reason why I don't contribute to any "Republican" organizations - RNC, RNCC, RNSC and so on.

Same here #5. I quit contributing to the national organization years ago. I will send directly to the candidate(s) of my choice without wondering if any of my $$ go to support turncoat rinos.

I live in Florida. I will NEVER vote for Rick Scott again. He was a good governor here, but one has to wonder WHY he would back Lisa. We all saw first hand, over and over and over that she is NOT A conservative. We need someone who will back the REPUBLICAN agenda! That's not Lisa Murkowski!

Didn't see actually win her seat as a write-in candidate after getting beat in the primary?
She may not be conservative, but she's a Republican, and you need Republicans in the Senate to become the Majority and control the process in the Senate.

I dont contribute to anyone. Politicians run for office using money sent by people who cant afford it, and crooks who can. Through the normal process of governing, accepting bribes, kickbacks and insider trading that they all know they will get away with, politician becomes a millionaire. Do they send my money back, with dividends? No, they just vote for my further enslavement.
I will not willingly hire my own mugger.

I have vowed to never again send one penny to the National GOP, or Senatorial Campaigns because they support people that I despise....like Murkowski.
I will send money DIRECTLY to individual campaigns for people I support. ZERO for the national GOP.

The author's name is Roger L. Simon, not Stone.
I am sickened by the likes of Sen. Rick Scott's support of this RINO traitor! Have the uniparty morons learned nothing?
I just worry the other, more conservative candidates will split the conservative vote and give it to Murkowski. Same with Wyoming and Liz Cheney, but I admit I don't know if multiple conservatives are running there.

Reminds me of Lincoln's anecdote about the great potentate who charged his advisers to give him a statement that would be correct for any situation, and for all time. Their offering: and this too shall pass. Updated to: Republican Leaders betray their voters over... fill in the blank.

I live in Florida. I voted for Rick Scott in 2018. Will I support him in the future? Absolutely. His decision to support Murkowski is disappointing, but he is a reliable conservative vote in the senate, and that is really the bottom line.

Hope that Rick Scott considers this long and hard…otherwise he’s more of a fool than we thought.
