The Obsolete Science Behind Roe v. Wade

Original Article

Posted By: Beardo, 10/29/2021 5:35:05 PM

The Supreme Court will soon reconsider the decision in Roe v. Wade (1973), which made abortion legal in America through all nine months of pregnancy. At that “point in the development of man’s knowledge,” as Justice Harry Blackmun put it in Roe, there was simply no consensus about when life begins. In other words, the fetus could not be said with any certainty to be alive and therefore wasn’t worthy of legal protection. As a diagnostic radiologist—whose youngest patients are fetuses, who are very much alive—I submitted a friend-of-the-court brief in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization urging the justices to rethink Roe, a case premised on a claim about science.

15 weeks seems more accurate. Look at any ultrasound. It's not your body after that. There is another body. And the father should have a say.

Wow. Wow. Again I say WOW. Is it human? SCOTUS has said, conclusively, that a fetus is not human, and thus has no human rights. This is from a penumbra of an emendation of one of the articles in the Bill of Rights. So the issue cannot be litigated; like Dred Scott and Separate but Equal, the issue has been adjudicated. So taking the life of the unborn is not murder. And a premium is a tax. And a person who is 15/16 white is actually black. Anyone can make a mistake, but it takes 9 persons in black robes to really mess things up. SCOTUS has messed up. Their error needs to be corrected. Life begins at conception.

My dad has turned very liberal. (Years in the DC suburbs will make you woke.) He gives liberally to Planned Parenthood and other like-minded organizations. His granddaughter is pregnant, due in days. A few months ago, I mentioned the baby and called his name. Several hundred miles away, I could feel my dad gasp…. And THINK about what I said. Just letting him know the baby is not “tissue,” but a human and part of our family.

The entire Abortion edifice is built on a fraudulent scientific assertion from which all the other fraudulent unscientific assertions flow. No dear, at no time, from the very moment of conception until the moments of birth is the child a constituency part of the woodman's body!!!!!!! As to the moment life begins, why at the very beginning of course: the moment of conception.(DUH!!!!!) That is not new science. I learnt that 75 years ago. It is even in the Old Testament. Furthermore. from the moment of conception aprt from providing sustenance and shelter. there is NOTHING, ZERO, NADA that the mother can deliberately add or subtracts from the physical destiny of the new human fixed at the very moment comes into being. The entire IVF Industry is based on that very concept.

I used to support abortion only during the first trimester. But no longer. I've come to realize the first and foremost function of a civilization is to reproduce at the replacement rate. We aren't even vaguely near the replacement rate. We are on a serious downward trend. The Japanese are in an even worse situation. It looks like it will be the end of the Japanese by about 2050. So now I not only oppose abortion completely but I also oppose all forms of birth control. I still support abortion for women with serious medical conditions to be judged by a panel of experts. Over 40 qualifies as a medical reason. Being a depressed 18 year old does not.

When does life begin? Well from the POV of the future baby it has to be at time of conception. Stopping it any time after conception is taking away that person's one chance to live. Unless you believe that everyone has a Sole and the Sole joins the mass of cells at some time later. Of course the abortion side is not very religious so that isn't their motive.

You would assume that if the CDC was going to crush the civil and individual rights of those with natural immunity by having them expelled from school, fired from their jobs, separated from the military, and worse, the CDC would have proof of at least one instance of an unvaccinated, naturally immune individual transmitting the COVID-19 virus to another individual. If you thought this, you would be wrong. My firm, on behalf of ICAN, asked the CDC for precisely this proof (see below). ICAN wanted to see proof of any instance in which someone who previously had COVID-19 became reinfected with and transmitted the virus to someone else.

The comments came during an interview with KDKA radio in Pittsburgh. A Wolf spokesperson told The Associated Press “it was an honest mistake.” State law requires voters return their own mail-in ballots to a county election office or drop box. Written permission must be given to return someone else’s ballot.

I woke up Wednesday morning so grateful that my state, Virginia, had voted out abortion extremism. Abortion activists were supposed to sweep Terry McAuliffe back to the governor's mansion. McAuliffe spent millions of dollars on ads blasting Glenn Youngkin for being pro-life and brought in outside speakers, including former President Obama, to campaign on the issue of abortion. Instead of keeping Virginia blue, these efforts may have propelled Youngkin to victory.

Currently, any American who has received both shots of the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, is considered fully vaccinated. But Dr Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said this may need to change to include extra doses.
