Huma Abedin has claimed in her forthcoming memoir that she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed US senator. The longtime Hillary Clinton aide and estranged wife of former congressman and convicted sex offender Anthony Weiner wrote in her new book 'Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds,' out next week, that she was able to put the incident out of her mind for years. It was not until Christine Blasey Ford was testifying about her alleged assault by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018 that the memory resurfaced. She did not name the senator or his political party.

Furious parents and conservatives have told Barack Obama to apologize to a Loudoun County, Virginia, couple and their daughter who was raped by a skirt-wearing boy in a school bathroom in May, after the former President called the row encircling it 'fake outrage' and a 'phony trumped-up culture wars'. On Monday, juvenile court judge Pamela Brooks ruled that the boy - who has not been named - did force himself on the 15-year-old girl on May 28 in the bathroom at Stone Ridge High School in Leesburg, Virginia. Loudoun County Schools hasn't commented on the verdict. Students walked out of their classrooms on Tuesday in a show of 'solidarity'

Pacing up and down and talking animatedly on her phone, rookie armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was seen for the first time since a gun she loaded killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while being handled by Alec Baldwin.
Gutierrez-Reed, 24, has fled Santa Fe and was found at her dilapidated Bullhead City, Arizona, home by DailyMail.com where she declined to speak about the fatal accident.
Exclusive DailyMail.com photos show a worried-looking Gutierrez-Reed pacing outside her home and speaking on the phone before dashing back inside and refusing to answer the door.

I wrote previously about the offensive remarks that Barack Obama made while he was campaigning for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia.
Among those remarks were ones attacking the concerns that parents have had in Virginia about what is happening in the schools and what is being taught. “We don’t have time to be wasted on these phony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media’s pedals to juice their ratings.” He accused Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin of avoiding “serious problems that affect serious people,” and suggested that outrage over the actions of school boards is unjustified.
So, someone want to apprise Mr. Pen and Phone

It was probably the worst day of Alec Baldwin's life when he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust" on Oct. 21. It's a time to feel terrible about a 42-year-old woman with a husband and a young son. Then, CNN's Jake Tapper used it in one of his commentaries to denounce the entire Republican Party for making this tragedy an occasion for jokes. "There's something about our politics right now that is driving people away from our shared humanity."

Our current secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, is busy trying to find a way to tax wealth without calling it taxing wealth. She has eyes on taxing unrealized capital gains. What this means simply is taxing people for money they have not earned or received. That's it in a nutshell. That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken.
Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well.

Donald Trump Jr. is taking aim at a longtime family foe—he’s hawking a t-shirt that uses a tragic movie-set shooting to mock Alec Baldwin, who famously skewered his father on “Saturday Night Live.”
A tee declaring “Guns Don’t Kill People, Alec Baldwin Kills People” is selling for $27.99 on a merchandise site linked to the former president’s namesake son. The reference is to the Thursday slaying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was hit by discharge from a prop gun while working on the Baldwin film “Rust.” Baldwin, the film’s star, was handling the weapon from which the fatal shot was fired. The movie’s director was injured as well.

President Joe Biden argued Tuesday the United States is “on the right track” under his leadership, during a campaign speech for former Gov. Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. “We’re on the move but we’re on the right track, we’ve got more to do,” Biden boasted during his address, urging Virginians to support McAuliffe for governor. The president ignored Americans struggling with increased inflation, high gas prices, and supply chain shortages, and promoted the free things he wanted to give Americans. He argued Americans were enjoying increased household wealth, more manufacturing, and a high stock market.

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan supports segregating those who are unvaccinated against the coronavirus and denying them access to basic goods and services. Remember, folks: It’s about public health. It’s definitely not a new-age religious cult whose most zealous adherents believe the path to salvation is through punishing the wicked “unbelievers.” Hasan’s comments in support of isolating the unvaccinated came this week in reference to public remarks made by left-wing luminary Noam Chomsky (he’s still alive, by the way).
Chomsky said this week during an interview with Curt Jaimunga that the issue of vaccine mandates — that is, forcing the unvaccinated

The FDA is meeting on October 26th to give advice to parents on vaccination for children ages 5-12 and the Biden administration is poised to roll out vaccines for this age group for COVID-19. Is this a good idea and what information do parents need to make this decision for their kids? (snip) For ages 0-19, the survival rate is 99.9973%. This means that for age 0-19 there will be one death for every 37,000 infections (snip) For age 12-17 there have been 22 deaths and 21,000 adverse events reported. In the late teens and twenties, 111 deaths have occurred

Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema sent political observers on the internet into a frenzy on Tuesday when she presided over the upper house of the United States Congress wearing a casual denim vest. The moderate Democrat who's been frustrating progressives and even her own party leadership over her opposition to parts of Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda appeared in the Senate chamber yesterday afternoon in a black t-shirt dress and denim combo, surrounded by fellow lawmakers in suits and ties. Sinema is known for wearing eccentric outfits ranging from colorful wigs to a backpack and schoolgirl ensemble that she donned

Joe Biden is out tonight to speak at the rally for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia.
Now, one has to think that McAuliffe is feeling pretty desperate to have Biden out to stump for him. As we previously reported, McAuliffe acknowledged that Biden was not popular in Virginia and that basically they had to work their way around that fact. So he must be just grasping for anything he can having Biden in to speak at this point.
I can’t imagine Biden helping him at all. Biden doesn’t have any ability to really draw anyone. He surely doesn’t give an inspiring stump speech.
