Abill signed into law last week by New York Gov. Kathy Hochul effectively outlaws the sale of new gas-powered vehicles in less than 14 years.
The law, Senate Bill S2758 and Assembly Bill A4302, sets a goal that 100% of all passenger cars, trucks and off-road vehicles will be zero-emission. The goal is 2045 for larger vehicles, such as medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

The Biden administration is planning to send thousands of migrants who have gathered under a bridge near a Texas border crossing back to their home nation of Haiti beginning Sunday, the Associated Press reported Friday night.
The AP cited an official who said that between five and eight flights per day would depart from various cities in an effort to relieve the pressure on local and federal officials in the city of Del Rio. It was not immediately clear which cities would be used for the departure flights.
More than 13,000 migrants, the vast majority from Haiti, were estimated to have taken shelter under the International Bridge

t will be a catastrophe of Biblical proportions. Think fire and brimstone. The Four Horsemen of Joe, Kamala, Nancy and Chuck riding off a cliff. Cats like AOC sleeping with dogs like Bill Clinton (OK, that’s not odd, but it’s sure icky). Locusts. Hillary’s persistent pestilent pantsuits.
The first midterm elections during a presidential term are a test that he/she/they/it usually fails. Democrats do particularly badly, since most Democrat voters are not aware of midterm elections of their House and Senate representatives. Heck, they don’t even know who their representatives are.

NEW YORK — Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the Less is More Act into law Friday, giving more leniency to parolees. “New York State incarcerates more people for parole violations than anywhere in the country. That is a point of shame for us, and it needs to be fixed. It’s going to be fixed today,” Hochul said. (Snip) Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin and state Assembly member Phara Souffrant Forrest, who co-sponsored the bill, celebrated its signing, along with other elected officials and criminal justice reform advocates. “When women rule, how things can change, how we can find compassion and understanding and

In an apparent attempt to cover up the border crisis, the Biden administration has shut down Fox News’s ability to fly their drone over the U.S.-Mexico border to report on the border crisis, which swelled in August and again in the last 24-hours.
On Thursday’s Special Report, national correspondent Bill Melugin showed the over 9,000-person crowd of illegals under the international bridge. But on Tucker Carlson Tonight, two hours later, he was forced to report that the FAA had issued a temporary flight restriction or TFR over the entire area.

Former President Donald Trump warned supporters to avoid going to the “Justice for J6″ rally to be held Saturday in Washington, D.C., claiming that it is essentially a no-win situation for them and Republicans in general.
“On Saturday, that’s a setup,” Trump said, referring to the rally in an interview with The Federalist.
“If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed,” the 45th president added.
Capitol Police ordered fencing put back up around the grounds ahead of Saturday’s rally in order to provide additional security, though “intelligence suggests there will not be widespread or significant violence,” CBS News reported.

William F. Buckley’s desire to “stand athwart history and yell ‘Stop!’” described a personality type more than a political agenda. Conservatives, by well-earned reputation, tend to revere traditions and institutions, trust authority, and favor measured, incremental change. Dana Carvey’s impersonation of George H.W. Bush caricatured the type brilliantly: “Wouldn’t be prudent, wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture.”
Without knocking prudence, however, shouting “Stop!” is only a smart strategy when you’re ahead. It doesn’t help when you’re losing. (snip)Stopping time now would enshrine the stupidity, cruelty, and moral bankruptcy of radical leftist wokeism.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will reportedly still not support Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion reconciliation package for the time being, despite the president’s efforts to persuade him, according to Axios.
On Wednesday, sources told Axios that President Joe Biden reportedly hosted Manchin for a meeting at the White House where he failed to persuade the senator into agreeing with the $3.5 trillion bill.
Axios was told Biden explained to Manchin his opposition could imperil the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that’s already passed the Senate. Biden’s analysis did little to persuade Manchin to raise his top line.
Manchin held his position and appears willing to let the bipartisan bill hang in the balance

The Atlantic, of all sources, hardly a right wing news outlet, calls the entire hospitalization numbers for COVID into question. It seems the numbers are greatly exaggerated with admissions of many who are asymptomatic.
