David Frum Unintentionally Exposes the

A supposed, leading voice of True-Con Inc.™ reveals how they betray themselves.Take all of the names out of the Never Trump camp, toss them in a black Stetson. Any and all familiar names qualify for this thought experiment — Bill Kristol, Jennifer Rubin, Max Boot, Nicolle Wallace, Matthew Dowd, and all the simpletons at The Lincoln Project or The Bulwark. There are plenty more, so keep chucking those names into all ten gallons of the Texan chapeau. Now, randomly pick out any one of them. You will end up with the same result. The characteristics of this cabal are matching both in design and in a lack of quality.

Slager takes a mighty swing...and whiffs. Politics is an industry like any other. Huge money involved for even "huger" dividends, from social spending to defense spending, and especially "infrastructure". Inside the political industry are the politicians, their patrons and sponsors, staffs, and campaign mercenaries. Toss in the media, not just the alphabets but the many magazines, websites and independent punditry. As they say, there is gold in them thar hills, and plenty of miners to dig it out, whether it be contributions or taxpayer money. The difference between a professional Republican and Democrat is nothing of substance in the operation of government and its policies. Stager makes that clear in his assessment. The Never-Trump conservatives are hardly different than their liberal "opposition". They are both in the game to turn bucks. This is business, not some great ideological war. They keep the boobwazie churned up over issues that politicians have no desire to "solve"...becasue they make for great fundraising and campaign points. All this is a business model akin to the pro 'rasslin' game. You need heroes and heels engaged in frenzied combat to work up the spectators, draw the eyeballs to TV and butts to arena seats for Rasslin' Mania XXXXX. The media, especially television, know full well that conflict sells. Ask Maury or any of his ilk. The Never-Trump "conservatives" hated Trump becasue he exposed them and the show. From perpetual wars to open borders. So, every barrel of every political and government gun was loaded for bear and fired in succession, from Russian collusion to rape and tax evasion, not to mention insurrection. And still too many people have gotten the gist, after the "selection" of 2020. That's why the overdrive propaganda regarding COVIDS and even global warming...they've got to keep firing until something takes effect. It is my view the general population has just had enough government as the center of their lives. It's time for all Americans to turn off the TV and other propaganda outlets to start using their basic sense again. People are apparently more worried about the dogs left in Afghanistan than their own personal lives. It's time to throw ALL the bums out as fast as possible, stop subscribing to their bullshtuff. That's your revolution because to rig the vote again, besides being expensive, will prove the rigging all in power and media now deny.

Oh, I love a good put down and Mr. Slager delivers! He slays these faux conservatives with ease. We do not want them back and we will not have them after their betrayal. I’m fact, they are an anathema to our party. It’s hard enough to deal with the flaccid Republicans in leadership roles much less than a bunch of whining sanctimonious fools driven by pique and hubris. This is one great article that skewers those who desperately need skewering.

Never Trump Conservatives? None of those people are conservatives, but then again, I'm not really sure what is a conservative. Talk is meaningless, what actions can be used to identify conservatives? Tax cuts, OK. Foreign wars, OK. Anything else? Smaller government? No. Less spending? No. Less regulation? No. I'm at a loss.
