The Russian evolutionary anthropologist Peter Turchin coined the term “elite overproduction” to describe the condition of a society that is producing too many potential elite members.(snipHis choice of terms is a bit misleading, as his description of elite overproduction in America is better understood as an overproduction of people who see themselves as potential elites, despite being mediocrities.(snip)Turchin’s argument is aided by present reality. Jake Sullivan is the United States National Security Advisor to President Joe Biden. He was the primary architect of the plan to leave Afghanistan. A quick look at his résumé shows that he is laughably unqualified for the position. He is an overeducated idiot who is

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Tuesday he is raising taxes to pay for the cost of care for the elderly and disabled people, breaking a key election pledge.
In a statement to the House of Commons, Johnson announced a new UK-wide 1.25 percent health and social care levy, which is based on National Insurance contributions.
The move has been controversial even in his own party, as it goes against a pledge Johnson personally made in the Conservative Party’s election manifesto in 2019, in which he promised not to raise income tax, VAT, or National Insurance.

New documents have been released detailing U.S.-funded research on various types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China, where the first outbreak of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus occurred.(snip)The documents detail the work of the EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund research into bat coronaviruses at the Chinese lab. They include two previously unpublished grant proposals funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates related to EcoHealth Alliance’s research.

The Taliban is blocking Americans from leaving Afghanistan because the U.S. citizens don’t have proper credentials, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed on Tuesday.
A top Republican in Congress said Sunday that the Taliban was blocking Americans from leaving an airport in Mazar-i-Sharif in northern Afghanistan.(snip)“One of the challenges has been that, as we understand it, there are groups of people who are grouped together, some of whom have the appropriate travel documents—an American passport, a green card, a visa—and others do not. And it’s my understanding that the Taliban has not denied exit to anyone holding a valid document. But they have said that those without valid documents

As I write these words, Texas is virtually abortion-free. No, Roe v. Wade wasn’t overturned. (snip) abortionists have closed their doors for fear of being sued.
(snip) Most state anti-abortion laws prohibit the procedure under threat of criminal prosecution (snip)
The Texas Legislature took a wholly different approach. Rather than criminalizing abortion(snip) the law instead prohibits a physician from “knowingly” performing or inducing an abortion “unless the physician has determined … whether the woman’s unborn child has a detectable fetal heartbeat.”(snip)
Here’s where the law differs from the usual abortion prohibition. The state isn’t authorized to enforce the heartbeat limitation. Rather, private citizens are granted legal standing to bring civil lawsuits

Biden demanded $715 billion for the Pentagon. Congress is adding another $24 billion. There will be raises for everyone.
Why?
We just lost a war.
A raise?
Why should I pay Milley a single cent?
He is a loser. A woke loser. A woke loser who left behind to the Taliban 22,174 Humvees; 634 M117s; 8,000 trucks; 155 MaxPro mine-proof vehicles; 169 M113s; 162,043 radios; 16,035 night vision goggles; 358,530 rifles; 126,295 pistols; 33 Mi17 helicopters; 33 Blackhawk helicopters; MDS30 helicopters; 4 C-130s; 23 Super Tucanos; 28 Cessna 208s and 10 Cessna AC-208s.

Occasionally, I receive nasty notes. My favorite are the hurry-up-and-die notes from lefties who hate white people. It is no secret that leftists believe they will be in power forever once white people no longer are a majority(snip)
Which brings us to Professor Derek Hook.
Emma Colton reported, "A professor employed at a Catholic university in Pennsylvania [Duquesne] said on camera that there are merits to the claim that it’s ethical for White people to commit suicide."
Any college that would employ and continue to employ a professor who promotes suicide is not Catholic.
Hook quoted a South African philosophy professor, Terblanche Delport, who said, "White people should commit suicide as an ethical act."

Speaking as a current Californian, I wouldn't treat the recall as a done deal. Far from it.
Democrats have a huge organizational advantage that they can use to rig elections (think of the 2020 presidential race as the Californication of national elections) (snip)
Newsom has bet that he can counter his unpopularity in the state by nationalizing the election. It's why his ads don't tout his accomplishments. Not only because they don't exist, but because the state machine has put all of its money on turning this into a national race so California voters don't think about what a mess the state is.

Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX), the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that the Taliban were holding American citizens and Afghan allies “hostage.”
Partial transcript as follows:
CHRIS WALLACE: On Friday, Secretary of State Blinken, under questioning from reporters, refused to say how many Americans, how many Afghan allies have gotten out of that country since the U.S. pulled all our forces out on Monday.
As the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, do you know the answer to that?
MCCAUL: You know, I’ve been given the answer in the classified space but it’s in the hundreds. We have hundreds of American

Only one man lost his job over Afghanistan. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller challenged Biden’s incompetent and spineless Joint Chiefs of Staff to take responsibility for their dereliction of duty that led directly to the catastrophe in Afghanistan. Taking responsibility meant resigning. Biden’s military men immediately smeared him as mentally ill and forced him out of the Marines.
Biden is directly responsible for the worst, most humiliating, most dangerous – yet completely avoidable - defeat in the history of American warfare. He has betrayed the country that elected him and that he is sworn to serve. Yet Biden has shown no remorse and taken no responsibility for the damage he has done.

In part one of this American Thought Leaders episode, mRNA vaccine inventor Dr. Robert Malone explained the latest research on COVID-19 vaccines, booster shots, and natural immunity.
Now in part two, we take a closer look at repurposed drugs like ivermectin and how a universal vaccination policy could actually backfire—and bring about the emergence of vaccine-resistant escape mutants.
At their core, vaccine mandates are not just unethical and divisive, but also “impractical and unnecessary,” says Dr. Malone.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in the crosshairs of every leftist organization in the country.
The laser-like focus of the Florida legislature and executive branch toward the protection of individual liberty is really making the collectivist activist groups apoplectic.
Meanwhile, the value of real estate in the Sunshine State is skyrocketing; and jumpin’ ju-ju bones, the economy is on fire with freedom.
Now comes this… TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Florida will start issuing $5,000 fines to businesses, schools, and government agencies that require people to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.
Comments:
Before you jump, read the article. All of it. This is not about anti-abortion. This is about the procedural aspect of this “law” whereby abortion is not criminalized, not against the law of the state, but rather could be the subject of an individual civil lawsuit. That is not “enforcing” it. Sometimes we must read to understand fully. I’ll bet this why President Trump is not supporting this, saying it is only “temporary”. It’s a bad law.
