What's with the bizarre campaign against Ivermectin?
It's not just that the FDA has put out a quackish tweet (shown here by AT contributor Dr. Brian Joondeph, M.D.) scolding viewers that they are not horses or cows. That's in reference to the fact that in some high-dose forms, ivermectin is used as a horse dewormer, begging the question about its effectiveness when it is dosed and formulated properly as a human medical treatment for COVID, prescribed off-label. The news reports repeatedly call ivermectin a dangerous drug, implying that all uses of the drug are dangerous, even when taken properly.

Corrupt. Incompetent. Pathological. Criminal. Treasonous.
Those are just a few of the (printable) adjectives that aptly describe the illegitimate gang of idiots currently running our country. Joe Biden, the so-called president, is nothing more than a marionette controlled by a gaggle of career bureaucrats and academics, none of whom has ever contributed anything substantial to our once vibrant society. Indeed, they are nothing more than destroyers, power-mad ideologues who use a demented old grifter as a mouthpiece while they dismantle, piece by piece, our once great Republic. Globalism is their ultimate goal

As the pollsters across the board show President Biden’s support tanking rapidly (even among those whose polls regularly overweight Democrat support), the major media are having a hard time burying the story of administrative incoherence and stupidity and the consequences here and abroad.
The man who as a candidate promised to repair our international alliances has dealt NATO a significant if not fatal blow. The rush to bug out of Afghanistan left hundreds, probably thousands of persons who were citizens, green card holders, and allies behind. And our NATO allies have not been able to extract all their people either.

I quickly realized as I shepherded my children through public school and college that leftists in education are incredibly uninformed to the point of abject stupidity. (snip) I have never come across anyone as spectacularly uninformed as Dr. Linda ManyGuns who works at Mount Royal University, in Alberta, Canada. Dr. ManyGuns has declared war on oppressive capital letters. (snip) Just this April, Mount Royal University proudly announced that she was its new “associate vice-president of indigenization and decolonization,” responsible for “providing vision, strategy, leadership and direction to advance indigenization and decolonization commitments.”

I am a strong supporter of doctors and the healthcare industry in general. (snip) the COVID-19 pandemic has undermined doctors’ credibility. Doctors can be found everywhere arguing about the merits of wearing a mask, social distancing, excessive handwashing, quarantine time, the efficacy of various treatments promoted by some and castigated by others, and the efficacy and risks of vaccines. Many doctors bemoan the fact that COVID is keeping people from their regular checkups (snip) Because of significant skepticism about the credibility of the healthcare system, it is well known that there are possibly tens of millions of unreported COVID cases, and those people likely have natural immunity.

I learned two facts today, one about COVID’s survival rate and the other about eye-opening medical information hidden within the bowels of the CDC. (snip) Dr. Ioannidis concluded that most locations around the world have an IFR [infection fatality rate] that’s less than 0.20%. Additionally, protecting vulnerable populations and treating people with appropriate medicines may further reduce mortality rates. (snip) Dr. Ioannidis, therefore, decided to look at age-related survival rates and he came up with survival numbers that, if more widely known, would bring this mad panic to an end.

First hydroxychloroquine, now ivermectin, is the hated deadly drug de jour, castigated by the medical establishment and regulatory authorities. Both drugs have been around for a long time as FDA-approved prescription medications. Yet now we are told they are as deadly as arsenic. (snip) The Guardian describes ivermectin as horse medicine reminding readers considering taking the drug, “You are not a horse. You are not a cow”, saying it’s a medicine meant for farm animals. The FDA echoed that sentiment in a recent tweet, adding “Seriously, y’all. Stop it”, their word choice making it obvious who the tweet was directed to.

When the stink of slavery choked England and America, Christian leaders and laypeople spoke out and slavery was ultimately abolished in England and America. When the horrors of Nazi Socialism became evident in the 20th Century, Christians like Bonhoeffer in Nazi Germany resisted and spoke against Hitler. When the oppression of Communism became too great in Eastern Europe, leaders, including Pope John Paul II, spoke out and the Iron Curtain fell (snip) Where are the Christian leaders to call for an honest analysis of this very controversial election? To his great credit, Franklin Graham has questioned the outcome

We’ve been hearing a lot of speculation that the Afghan debacle is more than it seems – that rather than being a typical outcome of activity by some of the dumbest, most ill-informed, and most blinkered individuals ever to occupy places in the U.S government, it is instead a dark, convoluted conspiracy aimed at some goal sinister beyond words.
Some of this is from the usual suspects who see conspiracies every time a cat falls out of a tree, and some by more reputable people. The core concept here can be expressed simply: “There has to be something else going on. Nobody could be that stupid.”

Our hapless president’s speech on Tuesday was not a speech at all. It was a full-blown childish tantrum. While he was ostensibly celebrating his massive “airlift” of thousands of mostly-Afghan refugees, from the beginning it was clear he is extremely angry. He almost shouted his claim that his catastrophic misadventure in Afghanistan has been a smashing success. This is a huge lie and everyone knows it, even those trying to spin this debacle as a win. In fact, Biden’s surrender has probably set a genocide in motion just as our betrayal of the South Vietnamese gave birth to the killing fields.

With placeholder president-in-name-only Joe Biden’s horrifying, juvenescent, and callow surrender of Afghanistan, the Dems’ and Never-Trumpers’ grand succession plan après Donald Trump has now utterly collapsed.
President Joe Biden is officially a disgrace to the office, the nation, and its citizens. Ruined by his native low IQ arrogance, malicious incompetence, and aging mental health infirmities, and shunned by our allies, Joe Biden has no standing. Relegating serious Afghan retrograde decisions to a collection of woke fools, and duplicitous useless technocrats would never be forgivable even if Biden were a completely innocent incapacitated bystander.

In National Review Saturday morning, the great and the good are affirming their “long-held doubts about Biden’s ability.” (snip) I guess you could say that this is progress. Up till now, the only thing the “ruling clique” cared about was that Trump is a Problem. Otherwise everything was copacetic, except that we had only 12 years to save the planet.
As for the rest of the ruling class, the credentialed and educated liberals everywhere from tech to think tanks to universities to media to NGOs and the nice liberal ladies and their virtue-signaling #WeBelieve yardsigns? They don’t have a clue; not yet.
