Two utterly fascinating facts about COVID

Original Article

I learned two facts today, one about COVID’s survival rate and the other about eye-opening medical information hidden within the bowels of the CDC. (snip) Dr. Ioannidis concluded that most locations around the world have an IFR [infection fatality rate] that’s less than 0.20%. Additionally, protecting vulnerable populations and treating people with appropriate medicines may further reduce mortality rates. (snip) Dr. Ioannidis, therefore, decided to look at age-related survival rates and he came up with survival numbers that, if more widely known, would bring this mad panic to an end.

We can discuss Ivermectin and other treatments until we are blue in the face and the left will not change their minds regarding its use. They would rather have Covid to use as a method of control than actually save lives. Clearly, once they get a narrative set in their minds, nothing will change it. Mention it on social media and you will be dismissed as a know nothing kook. The disturbing reality is that so many professional health care workers including physicians are openly hostile to any mention of possible therapies. They will use their positions to shut down debate. This is an extraordinary development in the history of health care. When they reject proven therapies, I ask myself, what has happened to this country when we are now making health care policies based on political beliefs. Clearly, the left has decided to use Covid as a political tool to force us to submit to whatever narrative they create. I fear we are in the midst of some weird but effective psychological experiment.

If I remember correctly, when AIDS came on the scene, the CDC was all about a vaccine and while they were doing that (and failing) people kept dying. But scientists discovered treatments that kept the HIV virus at bay and allowed people who had contracted it to live a normal life. And we still don't have a vaccine, but a diagnosis of AIDS is no longer an automatic death sentence. I am baffled that so many doctors are actively hostile toward treating covid in its early stages and then complain about overcrowded hospitals when patients have to go there.

FTA: Right now, the medical establishment is doing the equivalent of a doctor who, when he concludes you are in the early stages of a sinus infection, sends you home without any antibiotics and, instead, tells you to return when you’re septic. If doctors had been allowed to treat COVID at the beginning, none of this had to happen. Who prevented that? Why? And who lied to Trump about this? If he had pushed treatment rather than ventilators, things would have been a lot different. His Achilles heel was believing what doctors say? Do you see bodies stacked up in the morgues? Lying in the streets? Have communities been wiped out? No? It's not a pandemic. Pandemic is an anagram for DEM PANIC.

I used to own horses. I never gave them pills as a method of de-worming. The texts about the horrors of taking horse medicine which shows a bottle of pills are pure propaganda. Ivermectin for horses is a paste which comes in a tube with a plunger. You set the plunger in a notch for the weight of the horse and it injects the proper amount of paste into its mouth. Leftists seem to just love to show their ignorance.

To #4: "I am baffled that so many doctors are actively hostile toward treating covid in its early stages..." I believe that many of them all so scared of malpractice claims, and the impact they would have on their malpractice insurance rates, that the only safe route for their careers is to toe the official line (no matter whether that line makes sense). Some are still independent-thinkers enough to recognize the proven benefits of therapeutic meds like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin for treating CV19. But a patient must search them out...like I did. I came down with CV19 last Thanksgiving...loss of taste and smell, coughing, slight fever. Tested positive. Found a doc who would prescribe HCQ/zpac/VitD...most symptoms gone in 4 days, taste and smell returned in 6 weeks.

There's a third fact that the author might have learned... it's about the (purely voluntary and probably not complete) Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System (VAERS). As of August 20th, 13,627 people died after being vaccinated. There were over 74k trips to urgent care. Almost 5000 people developed Bell's Palsy. It is on openvaers.com/covid-data. For the annual flu vaccinations, which are not mandated and fewer of them done, there is a death count of about 100. THIS is amazing.... .....and how many of us have heard of it?

Dr. Pam Popper has been an outspoken advocate against mandated Covid measures. In a recent video she details how the medical community got to this point, stating that it was when doctors gave over their decision-making authority to the insurance companies and the government. She is forming a group of like-minded health care professionals who are sick and tired of what is happening, and has had an overwhelming amount of interest and support from them for this project. If I understand it correctly, doctors, nurses, adjunct healthcare workers, etc. each contribute a certain amount of money for a pool that will be used to fight back, including lawsuits. Reports like this give me hope in what seems like hopeless times.

The medical establishment does what it does because of the PREP Act. Do it the government way or lose all legal immunity: "If the hospital or physician refuses to treat you with anything other than Remdesivir (which has an EUA still outstanding despite failing said trials), dexamethasone, oxygen and a ventilator (which, you remember, Trump bought tens of thousands of for this explicit purpose under the DPA) they are immune from all legal action you may take due to their negligence, even if they KNOW there are other treatment options that, on the science, work. If they use those options they lose the PREP Act immunity. That's right: The US Federal Government demanded that in exchange for legal protection in all respects with regard to Covid-19 treatment only what they approved for said use could be used. Anything else and poof -- the PREP Act liability shield is gone." Doctors doing their best to prevent Covid patients from dying have reported ivermectin and/or hydroxychloroquine significantly improved Covid survival rates when given early to patients. The CDC has tried to get these drugs outlawed. They claim these drugs are ineffective or dangerous for treating Covid because they have not been officially approve for treating Covid. This is a legalistic argument; it has nothing to do with science. Science is the observable and repeatable effect of the drugs on Covid. Also, waiting until the last minute to combat a degenerative disease is asking for bad results.

Throughout the pandemic, US health agencies, with help from the MSM, have consistently repeated the narrative that vaccines offer the best protection against getting Covid19. While that may be true, vaccines for Covid19 were still being developed when those federal agencies issued their best "guidance" for avoiding infection. Instead of listening to doctors in the field, who reported Hydroxychloroquine, taken early along with zinc and antibiotics cleared the virus in a matter of days, bureaucrats and politicians WARNED doctors and patients AGAINST any such medical treatment. They decreed that frequent hand washing, social distancing, masks, and shutdowns would help us "bend the curve" so we could get back to normal while we waited for the vaccines. Electeds and bureaucrats are back to their old tricks, insisting the Nobel Prize winning drug Ivermectin is a dangerous "horse drug" causing increases in calls to poison control. When our government denies citizens access to a drug that is saving lives around the world, it's shameful our own citizens have no where to turn, and resort to horse meds. In reality, Ivermectin is a drug that is formulated for ingestion by human beings, not just farm animals. It is being given to Afghan refugees to rid them of parasites. Real investigative reporters would want to see for themselves how "dangerous" this drug is for Afghan refugees, and to report what dosages they're getting. How many of them suffered serious side effects that can only be attributed to the drug? I won't hold my breath.

Someday we should see a very large class action lawsuit against specific senior persons currently managing the CDC over the death and suffering they have caused by not supporting the use of therapies including Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and zinc supplements for early treatment of Covid-19 infections. Hopefully, the compensation for this action will be sufficiently damaging to discourage any future manipulation of public health policy decisions for political purposes. This scandal should go down in history as a larger political event than the Tea Pot Dome scandal or the Boss Tweed machine. By the way, do they still mention those in history classes?

Please contact all your state & federal representatives. We American citizens are being denied early & easy treatment with safe medicine that has been used successfully in India, Peru, Africa & Mexico. The FDA virtually banned IVM on August 26, 2021. The AMA followed suit a few days back. We can no longer get it from any pharmacy in Ohio - the Ohio State Department of Health has written to the big pharmacies and told them not to supply it off-label. I am so damg mad I could spit nails. One size does not fit all. Now as the vaccines are waning - we have heard that 2 relatives who were vaccinated have covid. One is in the hospital. We are now reliant on mail order from Canada - which is risky - hackers are going after their sites. I have called my Ohio State Rep and will contact the Congressman & the Senators. Yes, # 4 - there were doctors on the ground treating AIDS related pneumonia with off-label drugs. One of them went directly to the NIH - he talked to dr Fauci and begged that the NIH look at the drugs and at least temporarily bless their use off-label. dr Fauci waited 2 years to do anything - thousands died as physicians either did not know about the drugs or were scared to use them - needed to protect their behinds. I think we are in similar situation - people were terrified of HIV and that fear kept them 'in line'.

I read this article and when I got to the specifics of Invermectin it was all blurred out. Who did that? Who has access into the American Thinker and Ms. Lucianne.com? I would like to be able to read the specifics of the drug, but alas, censorship of medical information remains strong. I have had cancer twice and likely will get it again. I cannot imagine having information and treatment regimens to my cancers being censored. I cannot imagine not being able to read what a myriad of doctors and health professionals have to say about these cancers. But, why, when I want to read about a possible treatment for the CCP flu, the data and the information are censored? As we know here at Lucianne, this ain't now, nor ever has been about health. It's all about control. The danger from the CCP flu is nothing compared to the danger of the totalitarian regime now running our country.

When Abraham Lincoln spoke the prophetic words "a house divided against itself cannot stand" — in a speech before the Illinois Republican state convention in 1858 — he was a relatively unknown politician. He saw the obvious: North and South were hopelessly divided over the issue of slavery — or more fundamentally, states' rights — and a breakup was all but all but unavoidable. This came to pass in just a few years' time in the form of the Civil War. Is America nearing a similar point in 2021?

When officers responded, they found three people wounded and one injured. A 25-year old victim, identified in various reports as a teacher, was hospitalized in “good” condition. A pregnant teacher twisted her ankle trying to get the hell out of Dodge; she was treated at the scene and released. Another victim (whose age I have not been able to determine) was hospitalized and then released. Finally, a 15-year-old is still in the hospital in critical condition. The suspect was quickly identified

If you haven't noticed, Democrat Terry McAuliffe is in serious trouble in his bid to be elected again as governor of Virginia. And I mean, serious trouble. Like, Detroit Lions Super Bowl chances kind of trouble. We're talking Urban Meyer explaining things to his wife when he gets home from Ohio kind of trouble. Do you get the picture yet? And, here's the best part, McAuliffe is blaming the leader of his party, who he had campaign and fundraise for him a couple of months ago. Yup, McAuliffe is actually throwing Joe Biden under the bus to explain why his campaign is imploding in the final weeks
