Even as suicide bombers attacked the Kabul airport on August 26—killing, at this writing, at least 12 U.S. servicemen and scores of civilians—visitors to the Al Jazeera website could read an interview with Khalil Ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Taliban official and U.S.-designated terrorist who is responsible for security in the Afghan capital. "If we can defeat superpowers, surely we can provide safety to the Afghan people," said Haqqani, whose guards brandish the helmets, night-vision goggles, small arms, and camouflage the Americans left behind. "All of those people who left this country, we will assure them of their safety," Haqqani went on. "You’re all welcome back in Afghanistan."

Joe Biden was filmed crumbling after he called on Fox News journalist Peter Doocy at a press conference, only to be accused of failing to answer Doocy's question. President Joe Biden tacitly admitted Thursday that some Americans in Afghanistan would remain in the country even after troops were withdrawn on August 31.
“We will continue, after our troops are withdrawn, to find means by which we find any American who wishes to get out of Afghanistan,” Biden said.
The president said his military commanders told him the mission to get Americans and Afghan allies out of Afghanistan by the deadline would succeed.
But Biden defined the mission as “to get as many people out as we can within the time frame that’s allotted” — not staying until every American is evacuated.

President Biden spoke to Americans on Thursday, nearly nine hours after the first attack on the Abbey Gate at the Kabul airport, after being MIA all day.
“It’s been a tough day,” Biden began, adding that he’s “been engaged all day in constant contact with military commanders” in the Pentagon and Department of Defense.
Biden’s affect was flat throughout the speech, except for a few moments when he read some tough-talk off the teleprompter. He stumbled badly in the first few minutes of the address to the nation, sounding more defeated and confused than resolute.

The Supreme Court struck down the Biden administration’s eviction moratorium in a 6-3 decision on Thursday.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the moratorium earlier this month to cover counties with “high” or “substantial” coronavirus spread, which as of Wednesday included the vast majority of counties in the U.S. The order was issued after a previous nationwide moratorium instituted during the Trump administration expired on July 31.
“It would be one thing if Congress had specifically authorized the action that the CDC has taken. But that has not happened,” the Court majority wrote in an unsigned opinion.

Our allies feel betrayed, thousands of Americans are still stranded in the country. And now, we have US troops dead on the ground from today’s bombings around the airport. At least four US Marines are dead. A total of 11 service members have been killed. Given the chaos around the airport, this was coming. Former President Donald Trump’s Biden ad might be even more than it appears.
Trump’s Save America PAC just released one of the most devastating and effective presidential political ads I’ve seen in more than 40 years of watching them.
Maybe the defining feature of an effective political ad is one that captures the zeitgeist, while simultaneously painting either your candidate with the positive aspects of it or the other candidate with the negative.
One of the most effective ads of all time was also one of the most disingenuous — and in the world of presidential election politics, that’s really saying something. I’m referring, of course, to Lyndon Johnson’s famous/infamous “Daisy” ad

The announcement of Biden’s remarks came hours after the White House took the unusual step of clearing the president’s schedule, following a deadly attack near the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, which also wounded 15 American service members and killed dozens of Afghan civilians.
The violence added fresh urgency to the frantic effort already underway to evacuate tens of thousands of Afghans and foreign nationals ahead of Biden’s Aug. 31 deadline for the removal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan.

Joe Biden recently learned a trick from Kamala. When he’s asked a legitimate question that he doesn’t want to answer, he laughs. This buys him time and maybe even avoids altogether the necessity for an answer.
Sometimes it works. But it works less well when the question is about human lives at stake.
It’s all part of his flippancy, snarkiness and gaslighting as he tries to divert attention away from the humanitarian catastrophe that he created in his Afghanistan abandonment. His strategy seems to have been something like “ready, fire, aim.”

For nearly two years, Americans have engaged in a great woke experiment of cannibalizing themselves. American civilization has invested massive labor, capital, and time in an effort constantly to flagellate itself for not being perfect.
Yet neither America’s resilience nor its resources are infinite. We are now beginning to see the consequences of what happens when premodern tribalism absorbs Americans.
There are concrete consequences when ideology governs policy or when we take for granted the basics of life to pursue its trappings.

Multiple others are being treated for wounds, he added.

China exploited Kamala Harris’ unexpected flight delay to Vietnam this week to undermine the United States—by doubling the US offer of coronavirus vaccines before the vice president could make her big announcement, according to reports. Harris was en route to Vietnam to offer a coronavirus rescue package, including 1 million extra doses of the Pfizer vaccine, when her plane was delayed over a feared case of the so-called “Havana Syndrome.”
During the delay, Beijing rushed its envoy in Hanoi to meet with Vietnam’s prime minister—and he doubled the US offer with a pledge of 2 million vaccines, the Washington Post reported, citing Chinese state media.

An eyewitness to the suicide bombing outside the Kabul airport’s main entrance on Thursday said a young girl died in his arms — and the wounded American troops were checking passports. The Afghan, identified as Karl, who said he was a translator for the US Marines, told Fox News that he was outside Hamid Karzai International Airport waiting in line for a plane to take him out of the country. “There was an explosion that happened inside the crowd — a lot of people got hurt,” he said. “I got a baby girl — she was 5 years old — she died right in my hands.”

Seven US Capitol Police officers are suing former President Donald Trump, Stop the Steal rally organizers and members of far-right extremist groups, accusing them of spreading lies, using White supremacist sentiments to attempt to overthrow the 2020 election, and ultimately bearing responsibility for the riot that injured more than 140 officers on January 6.

Japan on Thursday suspended the use of more than 1.6 million Moderna vaccine doses after the health ministry said multiple vaccination sites reported contamination in unused vials. Officials said that although some of the doses could possibly have already been administered, adverse health effects have not yet been reported, according to The Associated Press. Japanese drugmaker Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., which is in charge of sales and distribution of the shot in the country, said the decision was a safety precaution. Takeda asked Moderna to conduct an emergency investigation.
Neither the company nor the health ministry detailed the contamination and whether any of those doses might have been distributed internationally.

Naturalized Americans could have their citizenship revoked thanks to a computer program that searches for concerning activity—with broad categories including anything deemed 'derogatory'. The program, called ATLAS, is used by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and is hosted on servers owned by web e-commerce giant Amazon. DHS stated on their website in a November update that ATLAS was created 'to automate, streamline, and support accurate exchange of data' among immigration authorities and the DHS, and 'to support biometric and biographic-based screening and vetting of immigration requests.' But they have come under fire for refusing to offer more details on how citizens are flagged up for potential denaturalization.

n an earlier article, I summarized the good news about the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, I will attempt to review the Bad and Ugly news about the pandemic.
The mainstream media, some public health authorities, and the pharmaceutical industry have engaged in a massive disinformation campaign. This campaign has focused on using fear to get everyone to take an experimental vaccine as the only way to get out of the pandemic. On Sunday, Biden urged America’s employers to make vaccination a condition of employment and expressed a hope that all Americans would be vaccinated.
Why? What is the agenda if vaccinating everyone is not medically necessary? (It is not!)

When I left Los Angeles the other day, I suddenly realized that almost no one was buzzing about the recall race.
Ordinary folks weren’t chattering about it. I didn’t see anything on local TV news. The papers were covering it, but the campaign seemed as remote as a Malibu mountaintop.
In fact, the only political passion I saw was at an anti-vaccination rally in Santa Monica, which prompted plenty of horn-honking among passing drivers in the liberal enclave.
But with three weeks to go, the national media have suddenly woken up to the fact that Larry Elder could be the next California governor, and are hitting him with a sledgehammer.

(Natural News) The Biden regime desperately wants to put the “unvaccinated” on a “no fly list” — permanently segregating tens of millions of innocent Americans from air travel. The tyranny doesn’t end there. Once Americans are placed on a “no fly list” and labeled domestic terrorists, they can be put on a “no gun list” — leading to firearm confiscation and forever depriving Americans of their right to keep and bear arms. This is all being done intentionally, step-by-step, and in a clandestine way, because it is so much easier to round up dissenting Americans.

The Biden administration is gaslighting the fiasco in Afghanistan in a variety of ways, e.g. by hailing the current chaotic skedaddle as the biggest airlift on record, as though it were a positive achievement. But the administration knows its biggest problem is the likelihood–or inevitability–that it won’t be able to get all U.S. citizens out of Afghanistan.
This question has always been clouded by the fact that no one knows how many Americans were in Afghanistan when the exodus began. Administration spokesmen have offered various estimates, including 5,000 to 10,000; 11,000; and 10,000 to 15,000. Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken implied that the true number is far lower:

A deranged woman was “speaking gibberish” when she shoved a toddler to the ground in The Bronx, the victim’s mother said Wednesday as she recounted the horrifying, unprovoked attack. Sahara Bernard, 21, told The Post that the still-at-large suspect “came out of nowhere” Tuesday morning after the mom and her 2-year-old daughter, Scarlett, left a deli at 230 East 198th Street, where they had ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. “Next thing I know my daughter’s on the floor and [the suspect] is skipping off,” the mother recalled in an interview.(Snip)The attacker is apparently known as a frequent panhandler in the neighborhood, Bernard said.

One of the most effective ways for the MSM to shut down an inquiry into misconduct is to say it is all a conspiracy theory. Besides avoiding an unwanted discussion, the charge also invites scrutiny of the "theorist" instead of the issue itself. Notice how quickly some even start off saying something like "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but..." Expecting their reaction, we have become almost trained to do this.
But are there really no big conspiracies?
It has been claimed that the phrase "conspiracy theory" was invented by the government to discourage the questioning of official explanations for important events, especially the JFK assassination.
