Joe Biden, Sinking into the Sand

In his sonnet "Ozymandias," poet Percy Bysshe Shelley tells of a traveler who comes upon a desert ruin that was once an ancient empire. All that is left of it are "two vast and trunkless legs of stone" and a sneering imperial stone "visage" half-buried in the sand. Etched on a pedestal are the words: "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings. Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair."
Joe Biden is a latter-day Ozymandias, with a tremendous thirst for power and a misplaced sense of invulnerability. But unlike the ancient royal ruler, it will not take eons for Biden's power to erode.

Creepy Joe is fast approaching a Mussolini moment. The only question here is when will the Taliban send a rescue plane to get this clown out of the country before he and Dr Jill find themselves decorating a lamp post in DC.

All true. Biden is a evil old man with dementia. He should never have been elected. I blame the MSM for covering for him and lying about him. They own this too.

Let’s make one thing “perfectly clear”…the mainstream media, facebook and twitter are responsible foe the debacle in Afghanistan. Joe Biden was just their tool. They are responsible for him being in office and every action he has (and has not) taken.

Biden was just a vessel by the swamp to remove Trump. That’s it. Trump was too much of a political outsider who could not be bought and therefore was a threat to the swamp’s power.
Now, Biden is too much of a liability to the swamp and is about to drop him.

Don’t forget to blame Jim Clyburn, he’s the one that took hunter’s dad off the scrap heap and made him relate to again

I don't really see Xiden as the modern day Ozymandias. He doesn't lust for power. He lusts for money (and ice cream). He is nothing but a sock puppet of those that do crave power above all else.

The problem here is what do we get when we get rid of Biden.
Joe won't be there much longer if he isn't removed by some act of Government he will be physically incapable of staying. He is rapidly going downhill. His wife dr. Jill is greatly responsible for this mess. She knew what his mental state was and let the Democrats do this to us and to him.
Now we will end up with a cackling fool to replace him.
Chuck the schmuck and Nancy Pelousi have been quiet lately where are they hiding.
Well I don't know about the schmuck, but Nancy has a hard-on for anyone who entered the Capitol and instead of trying to clean up this mess the Democrats mad she is haranguing about an insurrection that never was.

Agree #3. Also, as in the Wizard of Oz, pull the curtain back, you will see Obama, Jarrett, Rice and the usual group pulling all the strings. This has been and will become Obama's third term.

Would it be possible to have him sink into the sand heard first, while handcuffed to Aunt Kamammy and Nancy Pigface ?

#13, where have you been? They are involved (along with Soros) because they hate America and want it destroyed.
BTW, where are you watching from?

We are there. Nothing is left but the shoes. There is no monument to his greatness. There is no list of his achievements. There is no choir singing panegyrics to his name. There is NOTHING.
It is Weekend At Joe's.
Just a desert of sand.

Traitor Joe isn't fit to carry Ozymandias' towel.
Traitor Joe is the kind of lowlife trash that accumulates in DC, stealing, lying and worming their way into positions of power, slowly, slowly. Always corrupt, always lying, and in the only place where that "skill set" is useful. Everywhere else, this sort of a person is, at best, a used car salesman, or scuzzy city councilman.
Joe's days are short, thank goodness.

Americans don't want to hear that the United States is also a stand-in for Ozymandias. We are, of course, exceptional. Except when trying to bend the world to our will. What makes us exceptional is that Americans accept defeat with a smile while suffering from self-incrimination. Unlike the French in Vietnam, for example, we didn't destroy our airbases or other assets. We left them intact, such as Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, or Da Nang International Airport. Perhaps the future of Baghram. (The Military Times carried a June 29 report that the base closing was imminent, "just a matter of days." The Afghans claim they were not told. Someone get them a subscription. Or, they may be lying.)
Like the British and Spaniards, who once had global empires, the US is discovering that being the "Leader of the Free World" gets increasingly expensive, and failure is not tolerated. Someone is always causing trouble, threatening global stability. And America, of course, must respond with ships and MOABS.
Here the Afghan government and its security forces cut and run...it's America's fault. And we should feel shame for having futilely invested $6.7 TRILLION and 3000 soldiers' lives over two decades to provide them an opportunity. Sorry, I don't. They are now getting the government and lives they "elected" with their acquiescence.

Biden does not care about the facts mentioned in this article, as he has recently been telling us quite frequently, and you should know by now if you have been paying attention, “I’m President of the United States, for God’s sake”. One thing is for sure, it won’t be long before “Father Time” takes hold, and Biden sinks into his oncoming dementia to the point that even the most staunch leftist and socialist Democrat operatives and their media propagandists will realize that it is time to trade Biden in for a new model.

#13 / #19 definitely has a point when viewed from the perspective of a normal individual. Unfortunately, Obama and Soros both suffer from Messiah Complexes, coupled with the need to reshape the country and the world. It's possible that Obama has outgrown his through his unearned wealth and ability to live large, and the fact that he has always been an underachieving dullard of mediocre intellect. Soros clearly has not, but whether he's involved in the current chaos is anyone's guess.

I've always equated Ozymandias with Obama, but it fits here as well. I found myself nodding in agreement with every word of this article.
