Cuba Makes It Illegal to Criticize Government
on Social Media

Original Article

The Cuban government on Tuesday made it illegal to criticize the regime on social media, giving the government more tools to punish pro-democracy protesters. A decree from Communications Minister Mayra Arevich bans criticism of "the constitutional, social and economic" rules of the state and acts that "alter public order." The decree also creates a form that Cubans can use to report each other for "cybersecurity incidents." The decree comes a month after the regime restricted internet access for citizens in an attempt to stifle criticism. Penalties for violating the decree will be set in legislation later. Internet access in Cuba has been inconsistent since the protests started on July 11.

Comments:

The US is not that far behind. The Biden administration and California democrats were caught working with Facebook and Twitter to silence opposition to vaccines and those who criticized democrats in California.

The US is getting pretty close to that now. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media just calls it "unverified" or "untruthful" information and bans you if you disagree with the Democrat / Biden liberal socialist agenda. Same thing for Covid information that contradicts what Dr. Fauci says. Now the Government is claiming that people who dispute the election or disagree with vaccines are to be considered domestic terrorists. We are just as bad a Cuba.

After being condemned by former president Trump, Chinese tech giant Huawei has enlisted the help of Tony Podesta in their effort to win over the Biden administration. Huawei has failed to gain a foothold in the American market, and much of that fact is due to the actions taken by the Trump administration. In February 2020 for example, the Department of Justice (DOJ) charged Huawei with violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. According to Politico, the DOJ alleged that Huawei "helped Iran’s authoritarian government build out its domestic surveillance capabilities and tried to secretly do business in North Korea." Rapinoe shared the following tweet on May 19th, 2011, prefacing her post by tagging the user “tasha_kai00.” While the account has since been deleted, archives reveal the account belonged to professional soccer player Natasha Kai, who is of Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino and Caucasian heritage. The unearthed post follows years of ardent left-wing and anti-Donald Trump activism from the soccer player, who notoriously feuded with the former president about her refusal to visit the White House in 2019. “Megan should WIN first before she TALKS,” then-President Trump tweeted in response to Rapinoe insisting “I’m not going to the f*cking White House” in an interview during the World Cup.

The cyberattack forced the shutdown of all of JBS’s U.S. beef plants -- facilities that account for almost a quarter of American supplies -- according to an official with the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union

As president, Joe Biden has made sure to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris, including her in nearly every aspect of his presidency and making her the point person on migration, a top issue. First lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Doug Emhoff have hit it off. At least so far, there’s been little of the drama or staff fighting that have marked many relationships between president and vice president—including between Barack Obama and Biden in their first year in office together.

The US Capitol was put in lockdown while police negotiated with a man in a pick-up truck demanding airstrikes in Afghanistan to 'kick the Taliban's a**' and asking to speak to Joe Biden on Thursday before surrendering to police after a five hour standoff. The man in the truck is believed to be 49-year-old Ray Roseberry from North Carolina. At 9.15am this morning, he drove his black pick-up truck onto the sidewalk outside the Library of Congress, opposite the Capitol building. Congress is in recess so no elected officials are there but there are staffers who are still working in the Capitol buildings.

Vice President Kamala Harris is missing in action amid the crisis in Afghanistan and, according to rumors, it’s because she’d rather the blame be directed onto someone else. The problem is she’s already admitted to having played a key role in President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11th versus the May 1st deadline that had been negotiated by his predecessor. In a CNN interview in April, she admitted to having been the “last person in the room” at the time the decision was made. She also defended the decision. “This is a president who has an extraordinary amount of courage.

That decision has proven to be crucial, as it left Afghanistan with no U.S. military support and now leaves the civilians stranded there with one option: to try to get to the Kabul international airport through Taliban checkpoints. The U.S. government issued a statement saying that it cannot guarantee

The pending report from special counsel John Durham, who was tasked with investigating the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe, should be released to the public, demanded Senate Republicans in a letter this week. More than 40 GOP senators, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), signed a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking that Durham, a former U.S. attorney, should be allowed to continue his investigation and his report released to the public. There have been questions about whether Durham’s investigation will lack funding past the end of the federal government’s fiscal year on Sept. 30.

A few days ago, on Aug. 14, I wrote about CNN's sudden about-face on Joe Biden's performance in Afghanistan. It was a shocking, stunning change; it wasn't half-hearted stuff. The Trump-hating news site ran a devastating -- and insightful -- analysis pinning the blame for the Afghanistan fiasco squarely on Joe Biden. Prior to that, the network had carried water for him, skewed the news, and engaged in sycophancy, to the point of ending up a target of James O'Keefe. Now it's The Atlantic's turn. Just this morning they ran three bam, bam, bam commentaries that also pinned the blame for the fiasco squarely where it belonged,

Having created one crisis after another – e.g., a broken economy, a broken border, a broken energy supply and, now, a broken Afghanistan – you’d think that Biden would at least step up and lead us into some brave new Progressive future. That, though, is not how Biden rolls. Instead, he’s either played the blame game, hidden at Camp David or in Delaware, attacked Republican governors, dismissed as bagatelles the horrors in Afghanistan, and generally been weirdly disconnected. (snip) It's not just that the speech was false and inappropriate. Look at Joe’s affect. This is not a well man:
